I daily an 04 red Ultimate Town Car. This is what I plan on doing. The 4.6 is a sleeper. It will not make much power, but it will take a bunch of abuse if you avoid any of the derivatives like the 5.4. Throw a few parts at the classic 4.6 and it wakes up without forged parts or a new cam. Delete the Air suspension and swap in a Tremec tranny and you have a great base to have fun without breaking the budget. (About 7K) Want to drift? Throw in a better oil pan and some low coils and you can slide. (3K for car + 9K = 12K) Want to mountain climb? Add some lift, a wench, and a real spare and you have a 2WD Ford F-150 pickup that looks like a car... (3K for car + 3-10k if you want manual = 6K-13K) Want to look good at a meet? Leave it clean. Add some tasteful flare. Done (3K for car + 1-25K for mods = 4-28K) Want to Drag Race? Throw some slicks, get rid of weight, add a cage, safety, and hold on. It is not quick, but fun! (3K for car + 12-20K for safety= 15-23K) Want to etc. etc.? The sky is the limit...

You gotta try to drive a Lincoln Continental from 99+. Basically a 300hp Taurus/Sable Fwd with a 4.6 32v Cobra motor. 3.55 gearing and torque steer for days.
@@monikhushalpuri Ive got a 32V Mark from 1994. The only thing it needed was to ditch the 3.08 rear gear. Otherwise its a brute. Very minor weight reduction got it under 3700lbs, which is 100lbs less than my 2000 continental but the Fwd Conti was faster to a 1/4 mile.
@Mad Mod nice dude, I had a 88 thunderbird turbocoupe, great car, terrible electrical system like all 87-93 foxbody platforms, I had the timing advanced to 14 degrees btdc up from the stock 10 btdc, added a manual boost controller and upped it to 18 psi, deleted egr, deleted the pcv valve and routed it to the intake port on the front of the turbo and did the same with the valve cover breather, car ripped pretty decent once you got above 45 mph, probably made 240hp max according to butt dyno but was great on gas...it was gold with gold interior, I know a guy locally that has an 88 turbocoupe as well but all stock and in mint condition but in navy blue with dark blue leather seats and manual climate controls which is better in those cars due to the blower motor relay no longer being available for the digital climate controls, it handled decently and reminded me a lot of the 94 mustang gt I had before it albeit not as nimble as the mustang due to weight nor as electrically reliable as my 94 gt but if I get another one I'd gut it and rewire it completely, that 2.3 sohc turbo 4 cyl was damn good and didn't show any signs of burning oil despite having over 225,000km on it, currently have a 2011 mustang 3.7 v6 manual...shits on the tbird and 94 stang I had lol
@@monikhushalpuri My buddy had a 3.7 stang i put 4.10s and that thing is nasty. They have more power than people realize and those 6r80s help a ton too. Those old 2.3s are brutes. I love old single cam stuff.
@Mad Mod same I loved the 2.3 but no aftermarket heads available anymore and even if you get a full port job from boport it's only 235cfm on the intake port max, but great engine to swap into jeeps or much lighter notchback stangs...personally I'm gonna do up a honda k20a2 with a mercracing supercharger eventually and put that in a fox hatch...I loved civics but hated that it was fwd and a cop magnet
I need to finish my car already so David can rip it for the Channel 👀 lol I love these panther videos! Been messing with em since I got my first 1996 crown vic lx back in 2015
Didnt competed with ls in performance but davids right, its an engine and those who had it could depend on it to do engine stuff for them everytime they called on it to. Now throw in that they love boost and before you know it youve got a good platform to modify. If i had the money for a build id consider one
People think these are heavy grandpa boats with sloppy steering etc, that just the parts used to make them “ comfortable “. Swapping out a few parts can wake these up to a whole different level- even with a the 2v. They are not as heavy as people think, and can handle pretty well after swapping out some suspension parts from a p71. The best part is they are fairly simple to work on and mod, the best would probably be swapping the rear gear from 2.73 for 3.55’s, 3.73’s or even a 4.10’s and some lower profile/larger wheels. I wish Lincoln applied the same logic they did with most of their other vehicles as in using the better 4 cam engines like the Mk8, the aviator, navigator etc.
Whoop! Moe's Speed Shop is who did the tune for my "05 Crown Vic LX T45 swap .. I want to do a Lincoln almost just like the one in this video. So fun and sneaky :) .. (Godzilla Whipple T56 Swap goodness)
Don't do it. You could drop a coyote in it easier and for less money than what it would cost to swap an ls3 all in. It drops right in as the coyote is basically a newer mod motor. Keep it Ford man
He should install a jms chip by pedalmax. It doesn't mess with any tuning. It would most definitely help with the lag in the lower rpms. Trust me I have it in my 06 town car. And it is well worth the money 💰.

My grandpa actually has a Lincoln town car, from 1973. I really hope to have it some day. It will be modified if I end up with it, but very tastefully and minimally. It's clean as fuck too. He was just working on it the other day.
I have an 06 Lincoln LS V8. I think you should review an LS if you can, I love the town cars and crown Vic’s. But I think you should definitely try another angle of Lincoln’s luxury sedans
THAT IS ONE HOD-ROD-LINCOLN!!!
I love watching the panther love on this channel recently if I get my nitrous marauder running right I would love to send it your way
Everyone says that my 68K mile 03 Town Car makes me look like an old man, but I don’t care. A T5 swap would make it perfect.
I'm a 63 year old grandpa and I'll take this beast any day! Beautiful car.
Those are Marauder seats. You can tell my the Mercury insignia embossed into the seat backs.
My Mom and Dad would have loved a manual Lincoln. They were well into their 70’s driving my manual Mustang, Camaro and GTO.
I think this lincon and the one Doug did with the Cobra engine is solid
I love the Lincoln build.... Awesome idea !!!!!
This is an American luxobarge I'd love to see on the autobahn in the left lane, blinking on a S Class or BMW 7Series
Love it. Comfort and power. I think they are beautiful.
1:46 I like how the door closed right when you said ‘this’ 😂
Why does everyone refer to it as a grandpa car. This is thing looks badass
Lincoln vehicles are beautiful
I daily an 04 red Ultimate Town Car.
This is what I plan on doing. The 4.6 is a sleeper. It will not make much power, but it will take a bunch of abuse if you avoid any of the derivatives like the 5.4. Throw a few parts at the classic 4.6 and it wakes up without forged parts or a new cam. Delete the Air suspension and swap in a Tremec tranny and you have a great base to have fun without breaking the budget. (About 7K)
Want to drift? Throw in a better oil pan and some low coils and you can slide. (3K for car + 9K = 12K)
Want to mountain climb? Add some lift, a wench, and a real spare and you have a 2WD Ford F-150 pickup that looks like a car... (3K for car + 3-10k if you want manual = 6K-13K)
Want to look good at a meet? Leave it clean. Add some tasteful flare. Done (3K for car + 1-25K for mods = 4-28K)
Want to Drag Race? Throw some slicks, get rid of weight, add a cage, safety, and hold on. It is not quick, but fun! (3K for car + 12-20K for safety= 15-23K)
Want to etc. etc.?
The sky is the limit...
Hell yeah man this is badass!
we need more underdog builds like this in this times, especially in europe👍
One of the sexiest cars made. One of the best back seats I’ve ever sat in. I would love this car!!!!
My Pappy said son you're gonna drive me to drinkin' if you don't stop diving that Hot Rod Lincoln - Commander Cody
I wish I still had my 1995 Lincoln Towncar Signature Series.
She went from NYC to Chicago without any issues and had 5 people inside.
I sadly lost her over 10 years ago in a rear end accident.
I had a 1994 mercury cougar and bought a super charger for it and it was pushing around 350 in a car that weighed 2500 pounds very fun car I would keep up with 300c SRT8s and everything I went against
You dont see 94 cougars anymore at all. And if you ever do, they're just hanging on by a thread.
@@joshuakhaos4451 mine was clean, 1 owner car, had only 74k when I got it, and was not beat on until I got it😂😂😂
You gotta try to drive a Lincoln Continental from 99+. Basically a 300hp Taurus/Sable Fwd with a 4.6 32v Cobra motor. 3.55 gearing and torque steer for days.
Yup and the lincoln Mark 8 has the 4.6 32v engine but rwd
TOTALLY AWSOME VIDEO DAVID!!!! TOTALLY AWSOME BUILD!!!! I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!!!! PLEASE CONTINUE TO SHARE YOUR TRUTH!!!!
That's my brother-in-law's Lincoln!! ❤❤
I totally can see Pete n Bas riding this to the studio... sick ride. My pops had one
I need to finish my car already so David can rip it for the Channel 👀 lol I love these panther videos! Been messing with em since I got my first 1996 crown vic lx back in 2015
Nice, love a sleeper. I wouldn't mind being picked up in that, I would be smiling the whole ride.
The Panther platform cars are going to be expensive in the near future.
Awesome. I just love full sizes with big horsepower engines. The car is beautiful and kept its looking. Top notch daily driver.
So cool you’re in Chesapeake filming this. Love the video
That's pure awesomeness!❤
Any idea where he got that V8 emblem in the grille?
Wish my 03 Towncar had that engine and trans
wow this is actually pretty cool! Manual just makes everything cooler! what a really comfortable way to shift gears! lol
Didnt competed with ls in performance but davids right, its an engine and those who had it could depend on it to do engine stuff for them everytime they called on it to. Now throw in that they love boost and before you know it youve got a good platform to modify. If i had the money for a build id consider one
Those seats are from the Marauder.
This just makes me want to fix up my 06 Town Car, and cruise like a chad
The 4.6 is actually a great engine that loves boost
Now all i need is the supercharger!! One of the most reliable cars evermade!! Ooh and that is a very good lookin panther hars off to the owner!!👍👍
Whoop! Moe's Speed Shop is who did the tune for my "05 Crown Vic LX T45 swap .. I want to do a Lincoln almost just like the one in this video. So fun and sneaky :) .. (Godzilla Whipple T56 Swap goodness)
Yessss!!! Now that's an Awesome Build !!!
Now you got me thinking....hmmm
I want to build one
I love town cars. Currently have a 2006. My friends been trying to talk me into putting a ls3 in it
Don't do it. You could drop a coyote in it easier and for less money than what it would cost to swap an ls3 all in. It drops right in as the coyote is basically a newer mod motor. Keep it Ford man
This is awesome. My old stepmother had a town car and a mark VIII.
We're do I go to have this done to my lincoln town car?
Mo's Speed Shop in Dallas, GA.
“Not your Grandpas Lincoln” 🤣HARD ASF
Looks like it has Marauder seats in the front.
Yep. Marauder seats front and rear.
I have a 2006 LTC that I would LOVE to have a Paxton SC! The LTC is a fabulous highway car (I live in Austin, TX).
I had a black 2008 Town Car with FR500 rims I sold two years ago. I called it my hot rod Lincoln, but it didn't have the boogie this car does.
This car is absolutely magical. Totally epic.
well, i came here through Fueltech.
I just love panthers and that Towncar is awesome!! lots of fun!!!
He should install a jms chip by pedalmax. It doesn't mess with any tuning. It would most definitely help with the lag in the lower rpms. Trust me I have it in my 06 town car. And it is well worth the money 💰.
Gotta review a Lincoln mark Viii
Wish I could find a breakdown of what they did to make this work and which mustang kit they used. Cuz I would 100% build one of these
ADTR sells a kit for it.
From the outside, it sounds a little like a Range Rover SVR. The black with the chrome accents looks so elegant on this car.
