That’s pretty impressive but I thought you could just drop the motor in w no issues I herd the motor mounts right up the the coyote and the only problem would be wiring and getting everything to work together didn’t think you would have to cut the oil pan
Very cool build. Although not mentioned, I believe that is a GT500 hood vent installed into the Vic hood, very smart. Lowers the air pressure in the engine bay, which allows greater airflow thru the rad.

I would want to daily it and maintain the interior, it seems like it would be less time/money to get it to work with a panther body than a stick. But I already have one manual project car, so I'm happy driving an auto. Thanks for making a cool video!

If the car is stock, the tune will just wake the car up a bit and change the factory tune shift points. Most folks find him on facebook but you can always call Mo's Speed Shop to speak with him also.

It’s a 5.0L Coyote, not a 5.7L Hemi. He bought adjustable Outcast AutoWorks Mod Motor mounts and adjusted them all the way back. At 4:45 he mentions the mounts.

We’re not sure. We know they will on a first gen. After speaking with David again, he said the new Ford oil pump with billet gears was about $400 though so even if he went gen 2, he’d do it just to be safe.
We tried to breakdown the majority of it with this video. Some parts on the car had already been there from him supercharging the 4.6 prior to the Coyote swap.
His speedometer and odometer are currently inconsistent and don't like to work all the time. With the way he drives, we'd have to guess somewhere around 15 mpg. Smiles per gallon is more important to him though.
Nice that it only cost you round 7k. With a tune youve got to be pushing 400/450 easy. I'm thinking about ZZ572/620 swapping my vic. Thats going to cost a lot of money haha. 30k when all said and done at least. We'll see though. I may be able to a cummins swap instead and get better numbers
Sorry. Don’t really understand what you’re asking. The car is a 2009 and we believe that particular Coyote is 2011 or 2012. The TR3650 transmission is out of a 2004 Mustang GT. Hope that covers what you were asking.

We were pretty shocked too. It would’ve been a bit more had he not already upgraded the fuel system for the supercharged 2 valve. Staying under $10,000 is pretty impressive though.

Not at all. We believe it was $7,000 from where he already had it manual swapped. So if you were looking to manual swap it as well, I'd factor in another $2500-$3000 to pair it with a TR3650 transmission. Though if you wanted to throw boost at it down the road, spend the money and get a T56.

It’s also manual swapped. I’d imagine overdrive would still work if it was still automatic. Not 100% sure but I don’t see why it wouldn’t.

Did you need to weld new engine mount points for the 5.7L hemmi or is it is bolt on?
