    Wow you’d think a panther would have endless amounts of room. But Coyotes are massive so… great to learn about this. Fascinating. Good luck with the build.

      @midnight347 Год назад +2

      It's the same size as the 4v 4.6 that was in it. They're fairly wide and stuff but the clearance issues aren't so much from not having room just It's parts not jiving with the coyotes parts.

    Serious question. Is it better to just build the four valve then rather coyote swap?

    • @alsingleton3773
      @alsingleton3773 Год назад +1

      The four valve is super expensive to mod (heads and forged internals and such) It's actually cheaper and simpler (ie easier to get parts) to swap to newer technology. Great question Snake!

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 Год назад

      @alsingleton3773 it isn't super expensive to build at all. All it needs is forged internals to make big power. The stock heads can flow pretty damn well and support alot of power. A built 4v would be superior to a stock bottom end coyote cost isn't gonna be that far off either way but it's gonna take longer to do a build vs just swapping which I think is why alot of guys are in love with swaps.

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 Год назад

      Honestly I would prefer a built 4v in a marauder since it came stock with a 4v and was a special car. A coyote swapped vic is awesome not a big deal swapping a 2v that is dime a dozen but 4v were special and a big part of why marauder was unique and cool to begin with. Kind of like with cobras and machs I'd like to see them retain a 4v and go built vs going to a coyote like everyone else has. As great as they are they come in regular gt mustangs dime a dozen.

  • @robostyle9773

    The Panthers have the upper and lower radiator inlet/outlets opposite of the mustangs. 2v/4v doesn't matter.

    It seems the obvious solution to the header and supercharger clearance issues is.... twin turbski's 😂😂

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 Год назад +1

      Not everyone wants turbos. They make great power and can put in work but sometimes that ain't all it's about. Superchargers are more fun on street cars imo and more set it and forget it without much maintenence. Turbos aren't for everyone.

    I always wanted a coyote swapped Town Car L but looking at this and thinking about the weight... a Godzilla swap may be where it's at.

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 Год назад

      A 5.4/5.8 gt500 motor swap would be sick too they have torque for days and would work well. The weight isn't that much on them they aren't much heavier than modern mustangs which are getting pretty porky.

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 Год назад +1

      Yes 96-98 cobras had 4v in them. The one in these cars is basically same engine that auto Mach 1 got. They have the cast 6 bolt crank vs forged 8 bolt like all manual 4v got.
