Bethesda should just hire these modders already
Lol TES 6 would be done by now.
These modders should just get together and make their own game as it'll be no doubt better than TES 6
Considering how Bathesda is currently doing, it could be a waste more than a benefit for those modders.

You never explained why they aren't doing Vallenwood or Summerset.
Yeah, I noticed that too
Most likely because we have little to no info about the zones. ESO had Summerset as a DLC but people weren't very happy with it
vladandrei1996 Summerset for ESO recieved quite the acclaim?
Reportedly they're because they're metaphorical creator-killers - people have attempted in the past but couldn't make any progress because of the amount of work that needed doing to simply start it
Trees kill Skyrim's engine. So Valenwood would not be able to support ANYTHING.... Especially not colossal motile tree cities.
As for Summerset.... i must say it's probably the lack of info or somethhinf regarding the assets required.

Agree. I just have feeling the hole Beyond Skyrim project will be finished years after Bethesda releases TES 6
@@klavicus2276 ES6 is probably still 5 years away though - I think beyond Skyrim will be 80-90% done by then
@@DieOrBeDead775 Nope. TES6 is very close.
2020 or 2021 at most.
Bethsda Game Studios aka Todd Howards team (Not Bethsda softworks) will release a game in the same year they show it.
So if this year 2019 at E3, Todd goes on stage, that means that Starfield will release in 2019.
And if Todd goes on stage at e3 2020, that means TES6 will release in 2020.
In his last interview Todd said that Starfield is done, just sorting out the kinks and they have most of their team working on TES6 right now.
You have to understand here , that both games were worked on at the same time.
Both games have been in development since 2014. Not in full develoment, but in pre-prodution.
After Fallout 4 was released in 2015, then they began full production on stafield, while a small part of the team was working on TES6.
Full production/develoment for TES6 began in 2018, when Starfield was more or less done.
This is also backed up by bethesda trademarks. When a trademaerk is bought by a company, they have to show a product withing 5 years or they lose the rights to the trade mark.
For example, Starfields's trade mark was filed in 2014. So if they dont show a product by 2019, they lose the rights to the trademark
@@billywingrove27 mmm I see what you mean. I still really highly doubt Starfield will be out this year - there would've been slightly more information about it at the very least. For example, Fallout 76 was spoken about from about a year before release, also fallout 4 and skyrim. So if Starfield is 2020, ES6 will be 2021 or 2022 if not after that. Also don't forget Bethesda's style of milking each game for at least two years before releasing another. Even if ES6 is ready soon after Starfield, they'll still want to milk Starfield on its DLC's etc. Oh and don't forget all the delays that usually happen due to technical problems (bugs etc)
@@DieOrBeDead775 Nope, you are wrong. Reddit analyst or some bullshit like that does not count as "For example, Fallout 76 was spoken about from about a year before release, also fallout 4 and skyrim". Fallout 76 was announced on a stream in 2018, showed offically at e3 2018 and released late 2018. The game was released a few months after it was announced. Same with Fallout 4. Fallout 4 was shwon at e# 2015 and release a few months after that.
This is the new style of Todd's team. Show the game and release it the same year. Happened with Fallout 4 (Shown at E3 2015 and released 2015), happened with Fallout 76 (Shown at e3 2018, released in 2018). It will happen with all their future games.
Starfield will be shown at e3 2019 and released i 2019.
If Todd goes on stage again the next year, he will show TES6 at e3 2020 and release the game the same year.
Bethsda Game Studios show a game and rlease it the same year. Thats just how Todd's team do things. As long as TOdd Howard is there, that will be the case for all future games of his team.
This is not CD Project red or any other studio where tehy show a game and release it years later. Even if the game has bugs, Bethsda will release it. They will not delay a game due to bugs. You got the wrong studio

@@combatraptor4592 oh hey dude :)
Only if Bethesda put half as much heart in as these modders, these mods look out right awesome!
Don't be too harsh on Bethesda when it comes to making a game from scratch its more work than modding something that's already there. Also for all we know ES VI is going to be fucking massive.
Without BGS there wouldn't be any of these mods to begin with and to act like the people that work hard on it are somehow just lazy and such. Its probably much to do with their boss saying otherwise.
try developing ur own game, its not a cake-walk, there's more to developing a game than just the game itself, actual devs dont get the same freedom and ease as modders take pleasure in.. also modders dont have to deal with making their own engine, having the original game as a backbone, and actually dealing with publishers and getting their game out there
If Bethesda was smart they'd follow and work with these modding communities any way they could (even if it's something small and mundane like saying they're excited to see the hard work these modders have done. Excellent PR goes along with and with so many divided because of 76, it would start to rebuild the relationship with the fans. But no, that's never going to happen.
they probably are... if they are then they would have signed an NDA which means they cannot say that they are. Sneaky.

You never explained why There wasn't a team for the Summer Isles...
My question is if they gonna do the summerset isles
The reason why there is no Summerset Isles and Valenwood is due to that fact that they are notorious "Mod-Killers" where small, overly ambitious teams with poorly fleshed out plans make little progress, before giving up entirely. (That is Copy/Pasted from the FAQ chat in their discord)

Once again the community does a better job than Bethesda
Modders get to use a game engine designed by Bethesda, they could not do it without Bethesda. Their dedication and time is what makes their content good (or bad, I've seen many shitty Mods). Bethesda as a company could never spend the time it takes to develop this much content without charging us for a complete new game without going out of business. We need to be praising Bethesda for allowing and even encouraging modders.

Maybe I'm just completely oblivious and missed when you explained it, but why are Valenwood and the Summerset Isles not being developed?
Amazing video by the way, I always love to see what new ambitious mods I can look forward to due to the powerhouse that is the Skyrim mod community.
I'm not part of any of the Beyond Skyrim teams, but I'll still see if I can answer. First of all, Summerset and Valenwood apparently have a reputation as a mod killer because inexperienced teams will try to make the settings without planning ahead enough. There are already seven teams working on other regions of the world, so that has made them hesitant to start working on another region, especially one witha mod killer reputation, and stretching the other teams thin.
Another element is that the Aldmeri Dominion will likely play a major role in the next Elder Scrolls game and that makes the developers nervous about messing around with the area, as they want Beyond Skyrim to mesh decently with both previous and future Elder Scrolls games' lore.
Speaking of lore, the descriptions of Summerset and Valenwood in the lore (not counting ESO which the developers feel were not faithful to previous descriptions of the areas) may be taxing on the Skyrim engine. Valenwood is an enormous forest, Skyrim has some problems rendering a lot of trees, and it has cities built on giant migratory trees. Summerset is described in older lore as having cities seemingly made out of glass, diamonds, and 'insect wings' which means possible cities with transparent walls.
Now it's possible that the members of one of the bigger Beyond teams will tackle the Aldmeri Dominion once they finish their current province, but that's a long ways away if so and there's no guarantee that they would want to work on it. Plus the potential technical limitations would make them less likely to go through with it.
That's just some possible stuff that I've heard and some of it might be completely wrong. If there are any team members or anyone who is more familiar with Beyond Skyrim, please correct any mistakes I've made or add any other explanations why they aren't being worked on.
@@MrSadness_ Actually from what I have heard on their Discord, they said the engine wouldn't have much of a problem regarding either. The main reason why neither Summerset nor Valenwood are developed is simply the lack of manpower, the teams are organized and thinned out as it is, so they cannot really form two more separate teams to work on those two provinces. However, they didn't fully close out the two of them yet, just they want to release a few full provinces before planning anything new.
Besides, when a full project like Cyrodiil or Illiac Bay comes out, I expect a huge surge in popularity for the team, that my get them the manpower necessary for whatever they plan next.
And they won't get any money :(
Shows how much they love the game, it's a good idea to donate when possible to show they're appreciated
If I could afford to donate to these people for making my free time more enjoyable I would.
Facts
I swear, I will save some and donate. I don't care if it's too much, they deserve it.
@@Reaper419Darkangel It's not really about loving the game as it is about making new stuff. It's like creating virtual life. If other games were as mod-friendly (especially for noobs) as Skyrim you'd see new content on almost a daily basis for different games. Ask the MAs individually if they actually the the game Skyrim itself. You might be surprised by the answers.
Screw Elder Scrolls 6 there are enough mods to keep Skyrim going forever.
You say that, but Morrowind aged pretty poorly and it's still got a lot of modding going for it. The engine they've used since Morrowind is really killing the diversity of certain mods. Less mechanics, stuff like that. If Bethesda will just get off their high horse and make a new, better, all-around amazing engine like the creation engine was when it was first used then we'll have a game that can pretty much last forever. Skyrim will inevitably age past it's prime, and it'll practically be in the same boat as Morrowind.

Their modding community will never cease to amaze me. I've never seen such a team of passionate, dedicated, creative people. Honestly, with their talent they could make their own games in the future :)
I just want them to bring back Morrowind's Polearms, thrown weapons, unarmored/hand2hand, and medium armor, and Oblivion's ability to combine spells, and also cast certain spells even when your hands are full (this would make being a paladin easier, since you can cast heal while holding a sword and board). I can understand if there's limits or draw backs, like it costs more mana and time to cast, and/or is more innaccurate with less chance of a crit, or if it's limited to certain spells (I would say largely spells you cast on yourself should be the ones with little to no penalty).
On thing they could do is bring back touch spells. I think when you cast spells, you can assign a touch spell so that when an enemy gets in touching range, you cast your assigned touch spell. One thing that Bioshock 3 did was that an offense spell could be a trap ruin spell simply by aiming it at the ground in front of you. So aiming frost spike at an enemy in the distance would fire said spell, but aiming it at the ground in front of you would do the equivalent ruin floor spell.
I'd like to mention Odyssey of the Dragonborn, an addon for Legacy of the Dragonborn. It offers a new landmass and complete overhaul of the existing museum. Made by the very talented legacy team led by the outstanding mod author icecreamassassin

skyrim is a game of the 2011, am feeling old
I am most looking forward to Beyond Skyrim because it doesn't replace Skyrim itself but expands upon it using the previous games as history. Personally I'm really looking forward to Atmora. I've been fascinated with Atmora for many years now, and to be able to visit it would be pretty awesome. What's still living there? Is it as frozen a wasteland as the Empire seems to think? Who rules there now that the Atmorans have all come to Tamriel and become Nords? What kind of legendary magical items and armors can I find there to take back to skyrim? These are the things I want to find answers to.
I know right, it never gets touched upon though there was apparently a big ol civil war going on there when ysgramor and his crew went to skyrim.

All looks incredible!I just feel gutted that my humble PS4 isn't going to be featuring any of these amazing expansions.😭 Keep up the jaw-dropping work, everybody!👍👍
the first mod gives me sooo many dark souls vibes. looks awesome
Why don't a whole team of modders team up, take the original skyrim game with no mods and completely change the story, game play and world into like an Elder Scrolls 6
Jame Yung MONEY my friend. In fact that idea has been out there for a decade or so now. Venture capitalist are hesitant in taking that risk because...... its massive amount of funding to generate the base of the game.
That and legality. It would be like you writing a book and saying Steven Spielberg wrote it.
"YES! THAT INCLUDES HORSE ARMOR!" Nate 2019
I wonder if Cyrodiil will allow us to deliver those love letters we find in Solstheim...
2:18 woah is that the Battlespire? If it is then what a throwback!
still waiting for someone remake Daggerfall mod in skyrim
They made skygerfall now which is daggerfall in skyrim engine
The modders are murdering Bethesda to death...
Bless these modders and their soul
Excellent work
How are modders killing Bethesda? They're keeping them on life support at this point...
@@pigeater7752 I mean in terms of the quality output of Bethesda being much lower compared to mods, so the modders kind of kill Bethesda in the quality competition.
@@konstantinosrope-maker1228 Sure. Because everything is there for them to work with. Giving people who know what they're doing a far from perfect thing and telling them to make it better often has a predictable result.
@@pigeater7752 Thus the phrase "modders are murdering Bethesda to death" is always applicable
"Think a really big version of Blackreach". Oh dear god pls no.
Same thought I just had...
Another big one is Glenmoril by vicn who also made vigilant (one of the best mods ever). The first chapter is available. Check it out!
All I need is the (probably huge) task of getting parallax working in SSE.
Beyond Skyrim Cyrodil Pre release is on xbox Elder Scrolls 5 SE
The fact that Bethesda even allows this earned my respect.
odyssey of the dragonborn defo should be on list
Ice cream assassin got robbed.
@@TheDarkblue57 Lol check the discord, Icecream is comming for him.
could somebody please explain about this mod or fiasco?
Hearing more about Beyond Skyrim, Skyblivion and Skywind is always super welcome as I'm almost drooling thinking about getting to play them someday. :D
Man, there is soo damn much being done with the Beyond series! Sad taking so long, but I would rather it done right. I really do hope they are working with each other though to make sure they don't' conflict with each other's story/lore/mechanics between each area.
Will TES VI be even as good as Skyrim with all the mods that have been made for it?
They say that they might be making a new engine for tes6, which might be hard for modders of skyrim to adjust to, each elder scrolls game was a masterpiece in. It's own right so, tes6 will be good I'm sure but the modding community might just stick to skyrim
@@toddhoward1892 I don't care if the modders need to get comfortable with a new engine, because it is fucking time that TES gets a new engine, CK is over a decade old now and very outdated for modern times
Bethesda should get rid of their current workers, and bring in all the mod makers to work for them.
Elder Scrolls 6 would be perfect.
Nah just give the IP to the modders with no strings attached because Bethesda would ruin the modders little souls otherwise.
I like how he keeps referring to these mods as “hers,” similarly to a ship. As if ships can compare to these mods.
Why am I not seeing a lot of Apotheosis in the comments?
Also comparing the maps to Solstheim is a huge understatement, just the Dreamsleeve itself is twice the size of Solstheim! Now imagine that with 16 more Daedric realms each being the size of a Skyrim hold!
Hey idk if you ever notice but in shimmerist cave when you reach the room with the falmer and dwarven centurion. If the battle goes long enough the falmer will actually cast a spell towards the centurion and it will activate it to fight at is side. Theres been times where this doesn't happen, but there's been plenty of times where it has. I thought it would be a cool mention in your vid.
Why is the beyond Skyrim team excluding Summerset and Valenwood?
Dean R. Throckmorton Jr. There are no teams working on these regions because of a combination of being huge, little explained regions in lore (Alinor) or for technical issues with Skyrim’s engine (the vast jungle canopies of Valenwood)
It’s possible they may begin work on these regions in the distant future when other major projects like Roscrea/Cyrodiil/Illiac Bay are “finished” and released.
@@jarlballin6548 What they said. Besides, we already have enough people telling us to drop what we're doing and just all work together on one project as it is.
"Why don't you all just finish cyrodiil first and also can you do Valenwood and Summerset and all of Akavir?"
@@mooseradcliffe7336 Sooo... I hear you saying that Akavir is planned? xD
Jk man, we're all just happy to have so many talented and dedicated people working on such a beautiful project together.
well i guess the horse armor will be free lol
if they use oblivions original horse armor you have to own the oblivion dlc so not free
the true question is..
can i install all these together?? :^)
im gonna try
Legend has it that these peoples computers are still loading the game
I have a qoute that fits that scenario: "My mod list? Too many, all incompatible and all in the wrong order" - Lord Scatsbury.
Enderal is gorgeous, cannot stop playing it. This mod made me learn Skyrim again and play in Adept difficulty...
yeah first time I used potions and eat something for healing up because I can't use too much magic cause of the arcane fever (I'm just arrived at Ark).
It´s hard to believe people still make mods for Skyrim after all these year. Now that´s what I call dedication and sheer love for games.
@TheEpicNate315 Enderal is not set in a entirely new Universe, it is set in a Universe SureAI made for their previous "Game" called Nehrim which was a total conversion for Oblivion, so technically fans of their work already know the universe, but it sure is a universe different from the Elder Scrolls Universe
Hello late video!
Edit:Thank you very much
If bethesda wanted to get on peoples good side. Theyd just help get tesrenewal out sooner. But I think theyve got bigger problems of their own now
November 2020 updates for Apotheosis and Lordbound: Lordbound is currently cleaning up about 600 bugs which means it should be coming out soon. Apotheosis on the other hand is still being developed, but it sounds like it is VERY close to finishing and will probably be released sometime in 2021
Will you be able to run these mods together?
The Beyond Skyrim, and Apotheosis mods sound nice, I hope they won't conflict.
Is anyone makes having the problem where it says "This operation could not be performed" when trying to download mods in Xbox? Does anyone know how to fix this?
Matthew Sly this ha happened to me before. Try relogging or restarting the game. R maybe you don't have enough storage for the mod
Ok ive had this problem too. The solution: 1.start skyrim with your account on which youve been having the problem. When youve loaded up the title screen press start to get into the main menu. 2.Then press y on your xbox controller to change your profile and press "create guest". Then it should say " hello [insert your gamertag here](1). 3. Then click on the mods tab with this guest account. Your game should now freeze. 4. Close your skyrim and restart it. When you press " start" on your title screen you should still be logged in with your guest account. 5. Then press y to change your profile and choose your main account. Open mods and try to download a mod.
If it doesnt say " operation could not be completed" you solved the problem. If it still says " operation could not be completed" repeat step 1-5. Somtimes you need to repeat these steps up to 4 times but after that you should be able to download mods again.
@@Lemon.666 thankyouuuu
is it solved?
Disconnect from the internet, then reconnect. Works for me every time. Might take a few tries though
