One of my favorite street food in Vietnam is fried rice paper with a lot of toppings inside like quail egg, butter, sausages, dry shrimps, fried onion and mayonnaise. It’s really tasty!

I think for that milo dessert, you're supposed to take the spoon and push it up and down to mix everything before you eat/drink it. That's how I've seen others do it.
With flan on top, they have to eat that with the oreos and coco puff seperately. If you just have milo and chocolate syrup by itself with no topping, then yes, mix it, stir and drink/eat…
I wish someone was there to help you guys ordering foods. But Vietnamese people nowadays not just only the young people know English, all the markets store with people age 30-50 starts to understand English as well. This is very amazing. But still wishing someone there to help you guys out .

Love your $5 challenges! That drink omg😯yummm. Milo is Australian but very popular in South East Asia too. Kind of an Aussie staple growing up with cold milk. Glad that you enjoy the late night street food stands in Saigon. While you two are in Saigon, try the dragon fruit bread "Banh Mi thang long". The pink (Yes pink) bread was invented during the pandemic from the unsold Dragon fruits that time. If I recall, you need to get them in the morning cause they often sold out. I'm glad that you enjoy Vietnamese food. If you visit again, I think you should go to "Chinatown" located in district 5 in HCMC (Chợ Lớn). It's a place of Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine combination. Wonderful 🤌. But somehow it's underrated and less common to foreigners. Anyway, have you tried "Cơm tấm" which is a signature dish in South Vietnam. you're the champions : with 5 us dollars even for street food ... it's difficult to find something good to eat. Do you think street food in Saigon is more expensive than in Bangkok?
WOW, you will not be able to eat all the delicious food in Vietnam in a few months time. Let's try to eat more in a few years kkkk, I love you from Vietnam. I will subscribe to your channel now. Good luck!
You need to try the sweetcorn cakes with mandarin syrup. (Basically like Thai crab cake, except without crab if you know what I mean ..😁). Given your love for sweetcorn, it sounds perfect for you.
e-Mart & Lotte Mart are loaded with the best / inexpensive / nice & clean Vietnamese food. Ranging from appetizers, main courses, slow cooked, hot-pots, deserts, snacks, etc. can be found there.
@@2Passports1Dream Don't listen to this person. A lot of Vietnamese people cannot eat this due to the shrimp paste used for the dipping sauce. Try all the other stuff like bun thit nuong (Quang Tran's wife made him some Viet dishes lately, check them out), com tam, banh xeo, banh khot, banh cuon, bo la lot, all iterations of banh mi, bo kho, bun bo Hue, bun rieu, bo ne, banh canh, anything that has lemongrass and is grilled over coal, anything that requires wrapping in greens and herbs then dipped, etc. Even try com binh dan (watch Max McFarlin's videos on this) as it'll give you a look into food that's typically eaten daily in a Viet home. Then once you're familiar with Viet food, venture to the something like bun dau mam tom. Sonny and Max love this dish, but I'm sure they ate way more Viet food than you before they dared try this one. It's something that grows on you and becomes addictive.

If you really wanna embrace the food scene here, you should get a local to take you to good places and explain all the concepts and philosophy behind it so you can understand every dish and enjoy them better.
We have booked just that! We’ve got a tour tomorrow with a local! Can’t wait to understand a bit more about the food!
Thanks . Cảm ơn 2 bạn rất nhiều khi đến vietnam. Ở Hồ Chí Mình và Hà Nội ẩm Thực sẽ khác nhau.!!!
Thank you so much! We want wait to visit Hanoi 😍🇻🇳
you're the champions : with 5 us dollars even for street food ... it's difficult to find something good to eat. Do you think street food in Saigon is more expensive than in Bangkok?
Thank you so much! 💕 I Think in Bangkok you can get bigger portions
My husband loves Goi Cuon, i love it too but i prefer Cha Gio!

You need to try the sweetcorn cakes with mandarin syrup. (Basically like Thai crab cake, except without crab if you know what I mean ..😁).
Given your love for sweetcorn, it sounds perfect for you.

Gotta try ban xeo, banh cuon, bun bo hue, che
Thank you so much! 💕 I want to try bun bo hue
i would recommended y’all trying banh trang nuong and banh trang tron. it’s my favorite snacks
Thank you so much! 💕
As far I can tell, only the rice paper roll is a typical Vietnamese food. If you like fish sauce, then you can try Banh Cuon. Have fun there, cheers.
Hehe oops!! Thank you for the suggestion ☺️
e-Mart & Lotte Mart are loaded with the best / inexpensive / nice & clean Vietnamese food. Ranging from appetizers, main courses, slow cooked, hot-pots, deserts, snacks, etc. can be found there.
Thank you so much! 💕
You should try bun dau mam tom 😀
Thank you! 💕
Thank you for your recommendations! There’s so much delicious food to try! 😍😍
