Glad to see that our street food is on your video. People mostly talk about Korean street food but thank you for bringing this juicy thing to all people around the world to let them know that: "Street food in Vietnam is awesome" :D
The food seems very interesting, tasty and is so cheap, i cant believe that you can buy so much food for that money! Vietnam seems like a great tourist destination for so many people.
I'm from the Philippines, and I admire how Vietnamese always add vegetables to any dish even street food. Street foods in my country are just very oily and unhealthy. And most of our dishes are salty and oily.
It's funny that you said that whenever you were in Asia and someone had one of the pans with the little circles you recommended always buying their food. I actually bought 2 pans like that last year so I could make those at home. If you can't find one from Asia in the USA, you can search for a cast iron "Swedish pancake pan" and find ones that have either less shallow holes or the exact same half sphere ones, then use tapioca flour and rice flour to make all kinds of things you have seen RUclipsrs eat on the street in Asia. Because they are made with tapioca or rice flour they are gluten free, unless you use something like a soy sauce that contains wheat. You should try the leaves they give you with your foods, some have strong flavors meant to go with the meat and accompany it.
I always wanna try new foods and then you was like “and yeah that’s the poop sack right there, and you can eat it all” and well that was me pretty much done for the day heaving over my phone 🤣

@@brqxton8974 actually in VN, a person can earn 4000 US dollars a year, but it's not true enough, because it doesn't include a lot of freelancers' income in GDP. Like my family, we do household business, and with 3 family members, me and my parents, we earn 80000 USD per year and just have to pay 10 dollars for tax, that's incredible !! So maybe GDP per person in VN is 7500 usd. The government seems to lower the gross GDP, and currency exchange rate intentionally to get privileges for exports. So it seems to be not exact to compare gdp to cost of living in VN, although it's really cheap here but the GDP maybe in a double with fully valuating
Yes this pork/snail dish is tasty. The fact 3 main ingredients snail, pork, lemongrass are super cheap in Vietnam that makes it has such a cheap price
It’s also cheap bcuz of all the competition, a lot of people sell street food because it’s easier to work and make money from that than a normal job.
I will never get tired watching this food reviews,,, ☺️🤤🤤🤤food is life...❣️🥰😍
The octopus looks so good! I wanna try some
Actually I was baby daycared in the mountain side of Sichuan near Village Vietnamese Gardner 😶🌫️!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like your channel, Vietnamese food is awesome
Sonny how does it feel to be back to where you call home? I love your videos! I hope you never stop! Thanks for all you do to show us the food of the world!
Now i want to go to Vietnam purely for food.
My man ate 10 meals, and it came up to $33. It's no wonder why more n more Americans are retiring in countries, NOT NAMED America 😂. One order of Uber is like $40 bucks 😢
10:33 it’s shrimp salt actually
10:56 it’s not mayonnaise. It’s liquid BUTTER
And you missed the sauce!! It’s the soul of this dish. The sauce is made of tamarind, mayonnaise,… and has an incredible flavor, adding sourness, sweetness and the unique aroma of tamarind for the dish.
Vietnamese food is the best!
Wow! Thanks for sharing this $100 meal and food stalls looks awesome
It's not even a challenge anymore, this series just shows that you can have great food with reasonable prices.
My best friend is from Vietnam
I really want to visit this beautiful country!
Eating delicious food on a rainy day = Heaven
Their foods look so delicious. I would love to go there one day and try it.
Let’s take a moment to appreciate Sonny and his hard work, especially during times like these. Bravo Sir 👍
👍👍👍
Wdym by during the time like these? 🤔
5:04 it’s actually freshly grated young green mango. When soaking it in the fish sauce, it creates this light sourness yet sweet and giving the entire savory dish some freshness and less oily!
Got a lot of good for cheap. Not really close to the 100 dollars, but it was all worth it. Was fun to watch. Great video
All my favorite Vietnamese snacks in one video? Nice
The LemonGrass K-Bobs and the 🐙 Octopus looked so good. Egg cups were nice too. What's up with the Quail eggs in Vietnam.? Ah-✌
Quail eggs are cheaper than normal eggs, and also smaller but still taste the same so people tend to add it to different meals just to light up some sparks to it
@@_llv22 Hi Long, Cheaper .? Here in the USA they are considered a specialty item and are more expensive. Are there farms that raise Quail for their eggs.? Quail is also very delicious. Thanks for the information. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day
@@edwardcarloni6356 There are many Quail farms in Vietnam, you know steamed dumplings can't be without quail eggs.
@@TruongNguyen-zc3et Hello, I never knew that Quail was a domestically farmed bird. We have some availability of Quail and their eggs but mostly reserved for restaurant use. I've used them myself. I'm a retired chef. Check out Sonny's video that posted today and you will see Quail. I think that they are delicious. Please fill me in on anything else if you see my comments. Thanks Ah-✌

The World Loves you Buddy, keep up the amazing work Sonny and God Bless you sir. I am a Chef and your narration and how you are starting to put your work together with your amazing team is starting to remind me of Anthony Bourdain, God Bless His Soul... You are killing it and keep doing what you are doing. Much love from Southern California...
Vegetables, veggies, herbs, veggs in general is part of Vietnamese food both street food and restaurant, thats the reason why Vietnam is the least obesity country in the world(rank 235th)
Hey Sunny. I’m a new fan of yours. I love eating. I like eating strange food. I can’t say I’ve eaten as strange food as you this. I’m a newby compared to you haha. Anyway. What do you do with all the food that’s left over. I know I have camera people with you but I’ve seen some if your other videos, actually allot of them and there’s always an abundance of food. Please let me know. Thanks. I enjoy your show every night I have dinner.

Thank you for doing another hundred dollar video!!!! These are my favorite!!!! You are the Best! My husband and I love to watch your videos!!!!! Keep up the great work! Love from Louisiana.
Love every content my brother, helps me relax after a great day Bless you all
I've never been to Vietnam but after binge-watching Sonny's videos, felt like I need to go there!
You should go...my number one tip is to find a tour guide to help you around the city. they'll take you to the best places, help negotiate prices and it means that you can focus on enjoying yourself rather than worrying / thinking about stuff
Vietnam also has many beautiful nature places .Mother Nature loves Vietnam ❤ Sony traveled so many countries n he chose to settle in Vietnam tells us volume about Vietnam
you back here already ?
I love waking up to a Sonny Sided video in the morning! Interesting stuff! Night markets look really cool.
I loveeee it when it start raining, people running and Sonny hold the post what a warrior! xD
I need some more viet street food content please !
