This would be my dream food tour. Ever since my Asian roommates introduced me to Pho in the 90's, Vietnamese food has been my favorite cuisine. Forget Europe, forget the Bahamas, I want to visit all those noodle houses!

Calvin is the best Co Host. I love this channel but I only watched this big video because both sonny and Calvin was present. Probably I wouldn't have watched it if any one of there were there alone.
I loved sonny's single shows but Calvin made it such that its best when both of them are there together. They gave us such a big high with Calvin and sonny combination that any other single videos doesn't give us that high or hit. .

I have gluten sensitivity but love noodles that's why i love Vietnam cuisine. Thr camera work and editing deserves an award.
A few years ago I took the exact route through Vietnam. They had excellent food but you found some real gems. I loved it.
I've had noodles in Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An & HCMC over the years & I've never been to any restaurants went to! So, I've gives me a reason to make another trip to Vietnam.

There's a signature noodle dish in Ca Mau city, at the very bottom of Vietnam, It's call Bánh Tằm Cay or Bánh Tằm Cà ri which directly translates to Spicy Silkworm Noodle or Curry Silkworm Noodle, the main protein is chicken. It is by far still my favourite noodle dish ever.

The third place, the noodle shop inside the market. My grandmother used to live right around the corner from that market and it has been the most famous Bánh Đa Cua in hanoi for decades and a place my grandma went to when she was young, really a must everytime I'm home. I'm glad you got to try it. But as a northener you should definietly have given the northen version of pho bo a chance, beats HCM 7 out of 7 days.

I know it does not mean you are a vegetarian but noodles are actually among the best choices for vegetarians since we add so much veggies and the broth can be completely made of roots and fruits. Plus, I love noodles but I most love crab noodles which are essentially not meat nor fish. Totally fine without protein toppings but just the umami broth can make the taste for me.
And what i thought we tasted alot in our Vietnam trip till i watched this video! Got another reason to visit Vietnam again!!! 😋

When I first visited Vietnam I was blown away by the pho...but then I tried cau lau in hoi an, it was an Epiphany! I still yearn from a far for another bowl
Born and raised in that town but I left many many years ago. It's absolutely my favorite. Unlike Pho and other noodle dishes, you can't really find it anywhere in the West...too bad!

I tried all of the Vietnamese noodle except the last one, I don't think I will like it. But my favorite is Mi Quang with a lot of veggies, it's so addicting

When I 1st came to the US & tried noodle dishes of other countries as a kid, I was so disappointed as I thought why don’t they taste as good as Vietnamese noodle soups. Growing up in Vietnam, I’ve already experienced the best noodles in the world. How I miss the noodles & amazing tropical fruits of Vietnam 😢.

Wow i was borned and living Sai Gon 40 years and this chanel make me suprised because have some food i haven’t eat yet. Phở, Bún Bò, Bò Kho, Hủ tiếu i eat every day and i love its. When i visited Orange county, California 2019, Vietnamese in there make that food so good. Noodle that were a part in Vietnamese culture
It’s such a shame that we’ll never get to eat really good and true Vietnamese food unless going abroad. I noticed this with Thai food. While in Thailand a I got to eat food meant for the everyday person and it was exceptionally better than Thai food in USA (restaurants). Vietnam is on the bucket list. Keep you videos coming!!

such a true statement. You have to eat Viet food in Vietnam. I live in Orange County, Southern California. Vietnamese restaurants are in abundance and none of them come close to Viet food in Viet Nam.

you can find real authentic vietnamese food in OC california.
Look at the bright side - food over here are made with higher hygien :D, many times we have improvised version (which does not have to be bad), and sometimes fusion between two cuisines (such as pho burrito! or bibimbab/ nori spring rolls)

Vietnam has many types of noodles. Pho and noodles are made and mixed from many different flours. Ramen is one type of noodle that Vietnam has been making. Anyone who likes noodles, fresh food and different cooking methods in each region, should probably not miss to enjoy when coming to Vietnam. Thanks Sonny for letting me know about some types of noodles that I have not enjoyed in the North and Southwest (Mekong) region of Vietnam. I really enjoy watching Sonny's videos about food and food culture in each region and each country ❤
