Hi, if it wasn't working before deleting heater, it won't work now either. So there is no reason to reactivate it. Btw I have never had issues in the winter. But of course you shouldn't fully rely on it.
My Skoda Superb has a problem now aswell, and it says the ACC radar is misadjusted. Is there a DIY fix for that or is the only option to leave it to the workshop?
i installed ACC ( two Radars ) 2008, on my Audi a7 2015, but it doesn’t working, is it need activate it by VCDS or it will the parts not fit my car ?? best regards
Audi q7 má ukryty senzor na který se sníh nemůže dostat. Snad by to nemělo vadit. Už jsem koupil bazarový senzor, ale nechce se mi ho měnit a kalibrovat pokud jde vyhřívání vypnout.

Dobrý den, není problém. Kdyztak dejte vědět. Ale bylo by lepší, kdyby vám to vyreklamovali, nový radar není úplně levný.
My acc doesnt work on my 2011 a8 d4 , and neither does the gps , is it linked problem
GPS sensor fin on the roof is faulty probably water got inside
So you turn off the heater which means the sensor likely to freeze in winter, no?
Yes, it could. Hasn't happened to me though. So, do it at your own risk.

You have to check parts code by using etka. If parts are true you should use odis for activation I think
Does the adaptive cruise control still work with this switched off or does it become regular cruise control?

Hi, it works as adaptive cruise control. Don't think this feature can be switched off/separated from the cruise control.

Hi, I used VCDS Vag-com, but you mist have the original version. Also if there is other issue with the acc the procedure might not help you.
What do you mean turn your heating off?
The radar has a de-icing function, which turns on when temperatures dropp, this heater fails and turns off the acc.

@@ervinskis8382 no I don't think it's part of the grill on a6 the radar is behind the grill and the de-ice heater is probably part of the radar.
