Breathe through your mouth. Protrude your mouth like a pot. Don't breath with nose because it's very risky if you don't know to clear water in nose by blowing air out.
For who don't know- you need to have lungs filled with air to float. Its not special technique just breathe in and hold your breath. Incase you are swimming, breathe out when your head is above the water and quickly breathe in again.

I think the main problem a lot of people have is not keeping a adequate amount of air in their lungs when under extreme panic of drowning. They begin to hyperventilate which causes their body to deflate and therefore sink faster.
@@ohtruu413 it helps a lot. When I inhale much air I have to use force to dive down and when I dive in while having no air in my lungs I sink like a rock
For me if im in a life threatening situation i swim and float better, like one time when i was 8 i almost drowned but then just paddled back to the beach had to be the easiest swim of my life. But even now if im just chillin i sink like a rock thinking of taking swimming lesns😂😂
@@bobburgers1546 agreed lol. Once for school swimming we were supposed to keep our head above water for as long as we can and my classmates were struggling doing really hard kicks but I was just chilling with my frog kicks lol
I've never seen someone do the dolphin method, it would be too hilarious to move like that continuously and your whole body including the top part above the water move like that as well. Plus it uses too much energy.
im mostly the egg beater but i sometimes panic because i get anxious as i realise i cannot swim very well (although i can still swim, just slowly and barely)
I used to be scared and now i started canonballs, i also added a spiral to the canonballs i do sometimes and i sometimes when im in the water i just fall back
I have unfortunately large floatation devices permanently attached to my front. No need to do anything but occasionally move my hands or tip my head back slightly.
The reason why he is floating is because he is doing a swimming manuver called ‘treading’. This is where you just breaststroke legs and figure an 8 with your index fingers on either side. This is a basic way but there are many other ways to preform this “bicycle underwater”
Great interview at all for the most wonderful actress ms tessie tomas👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻💐 words of wisdom and she's being to herself that's how you manage your true character inside and out 😊 i admire her courage and perseverance at the sametime honesty is the best policy
"The Panic" 😅😂 Thanks for these techniques dude! My son and I go swimming regularly at our local spa, so I decided to check out some cool "tricks" or "challenges" that we can try next friday. Here in winter time Finland it's great to go from snowy outside (- 15°C to - 30°C), to a warm and "sunny" spa, get the heat up in sauna, shower and walk to the pool house where water and everything is warm and there's glass walls and ceiling so that you can see outside wheres lot of snow and icicles hanging from the rooftop and the glass ceiling is covered with frost. For Those of you, who live way more to the south and don't have snowy and cold "real" winters, I highly recommend you to try it out if and when you get the chance. Have a great one dudes!
I am a competitive swimmer and I don’t move at all. I sink Easily in water if I don’t move at all but I can just tread it right to just look like I am floating
I frog. It’s the only style I know to do consistently. And if I want to race, I frog style belly up without my arms. This way I can breathe easily and focus all my power in the legs. The arms just stay along my body so it’s more dynamic. It works for me 🤷🏼
egg beater the best cause it never stops like the other methods other than flutter, also giving u more steadiness to keep head above water unlike the frog, all of the other ones a more demanding
I’m a panicker. I can’t swim. I don’t even float, I just sink.
Same
You will need to take off the heaviest shirt because it can make you sink, thank me soon if you are in a deep water
Eat more peas, they generate gas inside you
@@katakuri4508 is this a joke lmao? nobody's swimming in a pool with a shirt on...
@@QuantikoOfficial some people do, its a material made for swimming 🏊
I do it the stone style. I get in the pool, I sink and pray the lifeguards see me. 😶

this is so true. If you inhale lots of air you can literally stay afloat on your back if you maintain body tension
So all I gotta do is keep a lot of oxygen stored up in my body before I jump in deep water and I’ll just naturally float up?

Which is most energy efficient?
it's the crawl or the frog.
