Well said ! I believe this to be true . If I can do it with a dog that’s NOT predisposed to do it indefinitely can get it done with the ones that are wired to do the work !
I thought I was a good trainer with a pretty good knowledge of the science of operant/classical conditioning until I attended 4 levels of Bob Bailey's chicken camp workshops, I didn't know shit! Yes, I could train a dog but I didn't really understand the science of learning. If you don't know who Bob Bailey is, look him up. He was a student of BF Skinner, the first to train animals for military purposes including dolphins in the wild to hit a target for the purpose of dispensing a bomb, pigeons to peck a target for the same purpose and of course canines and many classified projects.
What did you think of Bob Bailey? I'm just now learning about NePoPo. Bailey sounds interesting, not sure if a deep dive into training dolphins and snails worth it at the moment, is in on Bailey any different than any other lecture on opperant conditioning?
I absolutely love the knowledge, passion, and positive intentions within Justin's presentation. However...and this is not specific to this presentation or presenter...but what is the Causation and/or Purpose of the CASUAL use of Profanity? The only adjective or adverb within the verbal arsenal? Used GENERICALLY, the profanities lose any descriptive function, cause the terms to be undervalued when they should be used in serious situations, and outrageously undercut the legitimacy/attractiveness of the Presenter, which is a less relevant consideration, but ALSO undercuts the likely reception of the information, and also likely limits potential viewership. I am no Choirboy, but I cannot understand this current trend involving people investing BIG effort to obtain Substance, and then allowing Personal Style to devalue all that effort. Can I send a F....N' Thesaurus? I love the work and the passion, but I really cant recommend this video to many people who would VERY likely benefit from it.
It’s very common with military and police instructors. Us military and police tend to be a little rough around the edges and it’s normal and accepted in moderation. There are instructors that abuse it and you lose everything they’re saying but Justin’s courses are still full of knowledge and easy to follow
"shity Leerburg videos" yes Sir, Falling asleep after a hard days work to Ed's monotone voice, couldn't wait to check out my bad ass new VHS. Still eating this stuff everday like peanut butter and jute sandwiches!

When you say no begging, do you mean the handler should not beg or the dog should not beg?
