    Now this is more like it. Absolutely beautiful!!! The first one is what I would like to have but the second one is beautiful too.

    That first apartment is beautiful, spacious with views of some of the world's most iconic buildings, it has everything.
    The second had something really homely that was missing in the first and the veranda is a big plus, sitting outside having your morning coffee would be lovely.
    The Third is lovely too but never grabbed me,
    The fourth is beautiful too, it's very difficult to choose but going on looks 1,2,4 then 3 are the order of my favorites.
    The cooking styles are so different between east and west as we expect four rings, oven and grill and most are going when a big meal is being prepared, a separate pot for each veg etc, then you have the eastern two rings with two woks and a big meal is created with many courses, two very different styles.

      I think I prefer number 4, just because of the location. It was seriously in such a good place. The layout was a little weird, having 2 bedrooms connected, but it could be good for kids. The first one blew my mind... But it's a bit out of my price range hahaha

    The smallest bedroom might be for the live-in housekeeper, notice there is a lock and key for the bedroom and washroom normally they are located close to the kitchen. At $5000/month these are geared for China's upper middle class, not wealthy enough to own their own mansion yet.

    • @Harveyinchina
      @Harveyinchina  Год назад +1

      Yes, I thought that might be the case, the bedroom for the nanny.. I'm gonna look at some even bigger apartments and even houses in Shanghai. The houses could be quite interesting!

    The first apartment is beautifully furnished and the views are stunning.

    Love this vid!! The first apartment was my favourite, I really enjoyed the scenic view of the Huangpu river, the kitchen was quite big but I always think when in China you probably wouldn't be using a kitchen all that often anyway haha! I like the idea of the projector in the living room rather than a TV, the master bedroom had an amazing view too, not to mention the desk just outside it at the window, wow. I think the 4th one you showed was a great contender because I personally think I would never get sick of that skyline at night.. the layout was a bit weird but yeah!
    If I was to compare this to dublin, I don't know where to start. Similar to the UK we have a terrible housing crisis.. rent is just astronomical and the properties available to rent are far too outdated/far/too expensive for what they have to offer. I'm very lucky, we're living in a 2bed2bath 70m2 apartment (very nice one I will add), for the equivalent of 15k rmb/month in euro. Which is pretty much impossible to find now. I so want to go to China and just eat/study/travel for a year..

    • @Harveyinchina
      @Harveyinchina  Год назад +1

      Yeah, 1st was amazing but 4th had its merits too! Ahhh the UK housing market is in a mess, let’s not get started on that 🤣🤣

      @@Harveyinchina I've heard that the one-way glass used in the interrogation room in the movie can only block the view from a bright room to a dark room. That is, the glass is not effective when a person is in a dark room (outdoors) looking at a bright room.

    Dude, cut your hair short. This is ridiculous! Really nice apartments though! Anyhing above 5.000 dollars a month shpould be owned and a mortgage. The third is way less impressive than the 2nd though their price are not that different.
