There is such a huge difference in taste level between NY luxury apartments versus asian luxury apartments. I can't believe that for $60m, you get those cheap looking elevators, those dated orangey flooring and baseboards, the kitchen is looks like a rental, the window panels, the doors, etc. Everything just looks cheap and basic. It looks like a relatively cheap rental apartment unless you see the view.
not gonna lie you cant really wrap Singapore's real estate with any other country because the cost of living there is insane. we have people there who are literally unable to afford their own house till their late 20s or early 30s. they have 1 bedroom apartments in their "ghetto neighborhoods" going for 300k and if they chose to move to another country with that money they could easily afford a large suburban home elsewhere or pay-in-full cash luxury apartment in the heart of the city in the US
For the price of the house, the finish especially in the kitchen and doors looks a bit cheap. I’ve experienced this in average condos in Singapore ranging 1MM-2MM too. Generally white goods and finishing are not in good quality
Yeah I've been there. The utilities are dated. The parquets are tired and the bathroom need refit. Most of the common areas in marina bay residence would also benefit from some reno
It looks like it was designed by a committee of parking garage engineers. The private entrance looks like the elevator lobby in a tenement building. inside, It has all the charm of a hospital post-op ward and the feature wall should be sent back to the 1980's porno it was taken from. On the other hand the minute the sun hits the side of the building, it can double as a crematorium. So there is that.
I had a hard time remembering where I had seen the exact same styling and architecture, then it came to me, the new hospital that was recently built in a nearby town.
I think the problem is the finishes. I mean the toilet looks like a $50 toilet.. where’s the sauna, where’s modern tiling. Why are the doors this cheap oak wood and the walls are purple..?
I love your enthusiasm man, but i think that the window panes are a mega deal breaker here, they not only obstruct the wonderful Singaporean Skyline and Bay Area, but they sortof look like window panes from classic american houses in the 1940's, they don't scream "luxury" at all, unlike modern style windows that are mostly glass with the panes at the sides. If there were no obstructive panes all over the place, that penthouse would have a huge difference in vibe and design. Im hoping that the architect realizes this and makes changes.
Each room should have its own bathroom when paying for more than $60mln! With over 10,000 sqft, yet the rooms are still pathetically small. Paying $60mln for the view definitely not worth it, a $20mln GCB makes more sense.
Such a shame! All bedrooms are connected/shared by the balcony, which means there's no privacy and curtains have to be drawn.... bedroom 3,4 and 5 are even accessible if one were to come from the wet kitchen.
I tend to be put off by local property videos... but I was put at ease by Reuben's unpretentious, un-'try-hard' and chill vibe. Much appreciated. As for the property... it's too bad the furnishings seem.. pretty standard, totally unmatched to its location and supposed prestige and price point. But I guess that's a good thing, since the unit's set up essentially as a blank canvas. Wish I could live there one day!
For the price and total size of the place, the smaller bedrooms seems a little too small, sharing a relatively unremarkable bathroom. I would have expected each with their own ensuite at least. Unless they're intended for live in staff, but the size and access to prime balcony is little too much for that intention. Feels like they squished everything into that one floor and ran out of ideas for upper floors except to put a pool up there.
The view is nice but the rooms look like any other condo room 😨 the property agent should style the house like they do on selling sunset. It really helps clients to visualise the potential of the place. Now the whole place lacks character
What an incredible view! It feels like I'm living in a parallel universe from those who can splurge $60 mil on a home. Bought my resale HDB for less than $500 and have to take a 30 year mortgage lol. Very cool penthouse.
A view is a view ive lived in a highrise building on the 32nd floor its amazing for the first few days then gets to be the same old. Living in these type of buildings isn't great ill never do it again.
Should add a night view segment especially on occasion like National Day & CNY or F1 with fireworks at the Marina Bay. I am sure the view would be more spectacular.
Woah, I’ve seen this penthouse on another social media platform. If not mistaken, the couple that owns the property is based in Shanghai. Amazing property!!
As beautiful as it is, it’s a 99 year property 🙃 I’d rather buy a freehold GCB property if I’ve that kind of money. Great videography in this video though!
I'm curious about the type of buyer who would be interested in this penthouse for living purposes, aside from those seeking it for investment or refinancing purposes.
Fantastic property, and congratulations to the Stacked Homes team for reaching the $60.6 million dollar milestone! Any chance of getting a list of the music pieces used in this video? Some of them were very emotive, and shazam had no luck finding them.
Beautifully finished space. Interesting that all the bedrooms are not ensuite with their own baths. For that kind of money, no one should be sharing a bathroom. That was the only weird thing I noted. The kitchen is large but with little actual working space for certain types of cooking like baking or grilling. Very grateful to have seen what $60m buys these days.
I love the views....stunning 😍..... As far as the apartment.....it has to be gutted!.. the finishes, look cheap, and the layout looks choppy...and why are the Bedrooms so small .. I expected to see Grandeur for $60 million 😮
Did you overdub your voice in the video? Given how empty the unit was, I'm sure the recording of your voice in the unit itself would've been full of reverb but the actual recording seems to be completely dry (as in no reverb).
I wouldn't mind the price if could afford it but there are certain changes I wanted to be done in this property for me to maximize the poential of the high-rise view but I don't know if the rules and regulations of the building may hinder that from getting approved. If it can't be done then it's not worth it.
oh my this was my friend's unit, I rmb how much I was in awe when the lift door first opened to it. I was speechless just standing in the living room its beautiful
That's way too much space for one person or a couple to have, even with the money. Unless you're a Singaporean Tony Stark with a Iron Man garage-workshop, or Singaporean Bruce Wayne whom could customize them into a Batcave to park his Batwing. XD
Imagine people scattering around to find a good spot to watch fireworks for event such as NDP OR NYE celebration. Whovever lives here can just walk out of their room butt naked and watch it hahah.
I’m in the process of finishing the construction of the Aston Martin tower in Miami, the triplex penthouse levels 63-65 blows this one out of the water.
Many “interior designers” in the comments criticising the choices but forgot that it was left as blank as possible for the future owners to renovate as they seem fit.
I think 60M (whether it worths it would be debatable) was going to the location and 50k to the lap pool. The floor plan doesn’t look like a luxury penthouse to me comparing to those in London and NY with a similar price tag.

Finally found a house that fits my budget. Thanks!!!
Glad we could help! 😂
HAHAHHA
Noice
That makes 2 of us!
also the size is just about perfect👌
For the price of the house, the finish especially in the kitchen and doors looks a bit cheap. I’ve experienced this in average condos in Singapore ranging 1MM-2MM too. Generally white goods and finishing are not in good quality
Lol I recognized some of the furnishings. I live in an HDB.
Yeah I've been there. The utilities are dated. The parquets are tired and the bathroom need refit. Most of the common areas in marina bay residence would also benefit from some reno
It’s a blank canvas….
yes, very cheap for that pricepoint.
It looks like it was designed by a committee of parking garage engineers. Thank you for sharing 😊
Hmmm, is it me or does it not feel like a $60mil house...
It feels more like a 12M penthouse. The 48M is for the view.
I think the problem is the finishes. I mean the toilet looks like a $50 toilet.. where’s the sauna, where’s modern tiling. Why are the doors this cheap oak wood and the walls are purple..?
Exactly....
It’s not just you. Finishes look cheap and the layout is quite odd. The whole unit looks like an office floor.
Nope not the only one. Feels like it should be $1-5 million honestly.

Agree… I think it’s not modern architecture at all , very 2000s 2010s..?
Exactly. The panes give it an industrial vibe which is not bad, but its definitely not luxurious or elegant
On the other hand the 25 m pool screams "ultra luxury". 😊 As a buyer I would measure its size - can't believe it yet.
I would turn this place to office workplace. This is inhabitable for a family.
60 million for such a small office place you lost money before doing any business
The area is designated as a residential zone, so nah don’t be a smart alec
Du bist nie allein in diesem Penthouse! Dutzende von Fensterputzern werden an den Wänden hängen, um die Scheiben zu putzen!
Each room should have its own bathroom when paying for more than $60mln! With over 10,000 sqft, yet the rooms are still pathetically small. Paying $60mln for the view definitely not worth it, a $20mln GCB makes more sense.

Erect a glass lockable door in the balcony.. it’s a BLANK canvass… hellooooo
no worries u wouldnt have such a problem
I tend to be put off by local property videos... but I was put at ease by Reuben's unpretentious, un-'try-hard' and chill vibe. Much appreciated.

bad floorplan. this designer should be fired.
Agreed - a wildly unremarkable condo.
Could’ve used the money for landed house.
The way you presented it, soo convincing and soo natural. Half of my soul was sold. Another half is, I'm Benjy-less. Keep it up dude!
I could imagine myself taking imaginary selfies in that penthouse. The sunset view truly makes all the difference.
It really does! One of the best views we've seen!
The view is nice but the rooms look like any other condo room 😨 the property agent should style the house like they do on selling sunset. It really helps clients to visualise the potential of the place. Now the whole place lacks character
got the 'office' feeling...feel like working
What an incredible view! It feels like I'm living in a parallel universe from those who can splurge $60 mil on a home. Bought my resale HDB for less than $500 and have to take a 30 year mortgage lol. Very cool penthouse.
Only one could wish for such a home 😆
@@StackedHomesyes one can also only wish for a $500 HDB home
how u bought hdb for less than 500
You are a normal person like many of us ... those who can afford to buy this $60million penthouse are the 'abnormal' people 😂😂😂
After 5 years MOP, you can sell your resale HDB for a profit.
For that price it's disappointing that there isn't an attached bathroom for every bedroom. And gosh it's an architectural waste of a beautiful view
For a $60.6 mil view I am sure there are a lot of other choices in Asia or even elsewhere
This is way worse than Shanghai or Hong Kong or Tokyo
My friend live in the same condo and even thought she lives in the floors below, the view towards mbs is immaculate at any given point
My best friend too..
A view is a view ive lived in a highrise building on the 32nd floor its amazing for the first few days then gets to be the same old. Living in these type of buildings isn't great ill never do it again.
Can use cpf?
Should add a night view segment especially on occasion like National Day & CNY or F1 with fireworks at the Marina Bay. I am sure the view would be more spectacular.
The number of window panels is a nightmare. Big job just to get contractors to clean them.
Excellent presentation 👍
Thank you 😊
Luxury house... ❤❤❤
It definitely embodies luxury! 😊
It's so beautiful, no extra bs left by the designer or previous owner, just naked Beauty of space
The elevator looks like normal lift hdb lift. And the size?? How do they move in big furniture with that size
A million dollars view! 😮 As for interior..that need to go..no feel luxurious! I love the scenery very much! 😍🌃❤️
Such a breathtaking view right? 😊
You have a very relaxing voice. A pleasure to watch!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Woah, I’ve seen this penthouse on another social media platform. If not mistaken, the couple that owns the property is based in Shanghai. Amazing property!!
For 60 million, it should be screaming opulence instead of non-descript office.
Wow, really nice. I would like to get 2 of this.
Why not 3? 😁
my delulu level is at an all time high after watching this
The view is just a bonus, plenty way cheaper places with way better views overseas
As cozy as a modern art museum.
Thank you for watching 😊
Can use CDC voucher?
It's always fascinating to make these kinds of connections and observations about the built environment.
Glad you like it!
similar to the sail..seems nice but so hard to find convenient good food late at night...
I usually hate property videos but this one is really cool.
Thank you!
Am I the only one who wants this kind of house but dnt want to invite people to it for parties?
ahhaha you and me both!
As beautiful as it is, it’s a 99 year property 🙃 I’d rather buy a freehold GCB property if I’ve that kind of money. Great videography in this video though!
Thanks for sharing !
Makes sense!
I may have missed something... but where are the staff quarters?
If this is an office, and my boss allows me to have a room to my own, I don't mind going to office early and leave late everyday.
😂
Might as well sleep in the office
I'd live in that room :)
Oh is that the MBR penthouse? We developed it as part of MBFC years ago. Great development
I just can’t get over how ridiculously rich people are.
How much are monthly fees and property tax?
just imagine the commission for the realtor on this property.
Just 3%
5% at best
Whoever is living in there is literally living their best life
Yup!
Hello! Here's the music list:

Artie Son - Footprints
ES_Tree Shadow - Cerulean Skies
ES_Fluxuations - Dew of Light
ES_Fluxuations - Calm Shores
ES_Silent Memories - Calm Shores

I love the views....stunning 😍..... As far as the apartment.....it has to be gutted!.. the finishes, look cheap, and the layout looks choppy...and why are the Bedrooms so small .. I expected to see Grandeur for $60 million 😮
Worth every penny . 😊😅😂. What a dump for 60 mil
Views are so nice. This doesn’t scream home to me, but it could work as a boutique hotel.
Interesting perspective! It does have that boutique hotel vibe with those views. 😊
Hmm there’s are too many obstructive panels and 60 mil to have that kind of MBR? That sucks but still crazy view

60.6 millions sgd or usd?
For 60 million I want the whole building
That pool looks so serene up in the sky.
Yup!
what's the monthly building management fee cost?
Hmm, only $60 million? Was looking for something to park my ‘laundry’ change. Can you recommend something in the $200 million range? 😊
oh my this was my friend's unit, I rmb how much I was in awe when the lift door first opened to it. I was speechless just standing in the living room its beautiful
Lucky friend!
Where your friend got 60 million from
?
I hate the sunrise. I want stunning sunset views. 🧛♂️
The view is indeed amazing but everything looks like an office space trying to be something else.
you need to keep your air conditioner running all day, this is a green house and very hoooooot as long as there is sun light outside !!
That's way too much space for one person or a couple to have, even with the money. Unless you're a Singaporean Tony Stark with a Iron Man garage-workshop, or Singaporean Bruce Wayne whom could customize them into a Batcave to park his Batwing. XD
went to the bank to check if i could take a 300 year loan and they said yes!!!
Congratulations! 😆
Do you have anything bigger. I need more room for my pet arabian steed and 3 parrots.
I wonder who could afford such a house like what do they do and do they have the time to enjoy such a penthouse?
Beautiful penthouse but i paused at the top view, thinking abt the rain... So rain to the pool and the sky patio n sky deck.😅
Imagine people scattering around to find a good spot to watch fireworks for event such as NDP OR NYE celebration. Whovever lives here can just walk out of their room butt naked and watch it hahah.
Exactly! 😆
60 m dollar view@@StackedHomes
I’m in the process of finishing the construction of the Aston Martin tower in Miami, the triplex penthouse levels 63-65 blows this one out of the water.
the pillars are very obstructive to the $60 million view.
For this amount of money, the metal at the open terrace really really spoils the view
That's what I call a flex.
Ultimate flex 😎
I wonder how much monthly charge is?
good for morning laundry. but partial west sun is not great. kiv for fire sale
Im about to buy this unit,, too bad, i dont like the doors color 😮💨
Many “interior designers” in the comments criticising the choices but forgot that it was left as blank as possible for the future owners to renovate as they seem fit.
Great point! Flexibility for future owners is key! 😊
I love to see but i can't afford to buy like this type of super penthouse.😊😊😊
It's all about the inspiration! Maybe one day, dreams become keys! 😊
Can take 300 year loan for this property?
😂
99 year leasehold
property only got 80+ years left lol
Perfect place to have if traveling to Singapore for work, leisure etc… 🤔
It's a great spot for a home away from home in Singapore.
It looks more like a convention center than a private apartment
Can use CDC voucher?
This is the most spectacular and beautiful penthouse I have ever seen!!
I don’t know if I can stand the energy that’s coming into this huge space 😅
Owning this penthouse is much difficult to sell compare to GCB 😊
Thanks for watching!
I think 60M (whether it worths it would be debatable) was going to the location and 50k to the lap pool.
The floor plan doesn’t look like a luxury penthouse to me comparing to those in London and NY with a similar price tag.
Have to win the minimal amount of 1st prize Toto for 61 times…so… 61 times to go
I’ll take it. Do they accept debit card?
So what happens when it rains ?
can i work foodpanda to buy this house?
So many windows . Looks like can’t be open?
What is this The name of this amazing builing?
well, great and really like it and i'm only 60.59 M short of the budget now.🎉
Haha, just a small gap to fill then! 😊
cool drone reflection at 4:35
