  • We set up our SYIL CNC machines by ourselves... and you can too. It's MYTH that you can't set up a CNC machine by yourselves without professional riggers and we show you just that.

    When would you upgrade the spindle on the X7 (choose the 30k rpm HSK-E40 over the stock 12k rpm BT30 spindle). Im a bit on a budget and dont know if its necessary to pay the extra 9500€ when I will cut mostly AW7075 and Ti-6Al-4V?

    • @0AgentAlaska0
      @0AgentAlaska0 2 месяца назад +5

      If you are going to be making large production runs or if you are going to be micro machining (1/8" and under tools), the 30k spindle would be a notable benifit. Also keep in mind HSK holders are going to cost more than BT30.

    they really need forklift pockets on the side of the machines, not just from the front. And offer a multi tap transformer. The voltage here works out to be about 350v out of transformer. The machine likes 380. The manual cover both controls but no program examples the way haas does.

    Tips on how to not use a fork lift:
    Either
    1) surgically remove the middle of the pallet while it's still sitting on the pallet..
    Or
    2) cut off all excess pallet around the perimeter.
    Either use a pallet jack in the middle with blocks, or use toe jacks on the perimeter of the casting.
    Remove pallet from under machine. If you can't go high enough, surgically cut the bolts.
    Lower machine down slowly using necessary blocking to aid stability.
    Use skates or pallet jack to move into position.
