I find it so amazing how beavers can create a damn that still holds back water even when only a foot thick wall, and yet we as humans have difficulty creating levies and all ourselves without them failing with modern technology, and beavers only use sticks and leaves!

Would also be fun if you placed a stake upstream in the poon with the top of the stake at the surface of the water. There would be a visible measurement of how much the water level has dropped.

I like the way you study the dam ,as your working at taking it apart, Keeping a weary eye on the dam and looking for the smallest movement to make your escape and well you should that's a Hugh amount of water suddenly being release and very dangerous .

Another good one Mantas. Digging the channel deeper with the shovel makes a big difference by the look of it, a lot of the other dam busting channels which aren't machine cleared don't seem to do that. I particularly like that you let the video do the talking instead of telling us how wonderful you are at doing absolutely everything else as well as knocking down beaver dams.
