    This guy knows what he is doing. Right equipment. Removed not only the dam but the foundation as well. Also widened the channel. So many other “dam removers” have no idea what they are doing

    Nice removal and finishing. Why can't you understand that YOU have to stay outside of the excavator working area? YOU kept walking straight back into its area. I got a bloke at work fired because he would not stay out of the machines working area.

    Daaamn, that's like 2.5m tall and looks like it's been there for a couple of years too. Given how little wood remains in the core and how tall it is.

    Watching this machine I appreciate the forces of the actuatorrs moving the arms of the excavator. USAF hydraulic systems technition on F 106 Delta Dart aircraft and lab tech in vickers labs.😊

    This removal is much more effective and efficient than just pulling out some branches to let water flow again. There are other conditions where this excessive approach would not work though.

    The operator can barely move a dead snag aside and the groundman is always in dangerous places -- he's going to get hurt or killed. Micky Mouse operation.

      @@mattmcdewell131 Go watch more of their episodes. The groundman is downright dangerous. I used to run heavy equipment and I would not let this guy on my jobsite. It's just a matter of time before he gets injured. And then he will whine.

    why does he wait so long? you want to tear it all out in one big quick rip, that way the water current will drag the dam material down stream that way you don't have piles everywhere, kick that dam into the current the fastest part, or slowly dump it into it so the current can take it along ways away, not going to be too difficult to rebuild if the material is right there now is it?

      The operator should not place the contents so close to the boss on the ground. They would better fill in the places where the water went around the dam.
      I guess you have to start learning sometime.

    Техническое состояние ковша отвратительно, сочленения разболтаны. Подготовительные работы не проведены. Помощник брёвна таскает вручную, забираясь прямо под ковш, не соблюдая технику безопасности.

    This beaver dam was probably an enrichment for the ecology, increased biodiversity and raised the groundwater level. It is certainly understandable that the residents are not happy when meadows are under water and fields cannot be used.

    У экскаваторщика руки из жопы. Обычно чистится всё до дна перед плотиной и после плотины, вынимается весь грунт по максимуму, а потом рушится сама плотина.
