FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
    1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
    2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
    3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
    4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
    5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
    6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
    7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
    8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
    9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
    10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.

It can & IS expensive to buy & install a culvert for your driveway. Why these homeowners done take better care of their ditches & culverts is beyond me. They either have enough money to not care or they don’t understand what happens over time of not being maintained. Great job ladies!!! Stay safe. ❤

Do any of the roadworks come around & pickup the wood that you take out of the water & leave side of road ?
You should carry a piece of pipe to pry up broken sluice pipes that are broken on end in way of flowing water . (About 3~4 foot piece)

You guys seem to be well traveled around Oklahoma. I have been looking to move there but I have no idea of any towns that are nice and has a Walmart within 20 minutes. If you have any suggestions that would be awesome because you seem to know a lot about the state.

    • @culvertsandmore

southeast Oklahoma is probably the most diverse in landscape. the western side is flatter and winder. mccurtain county has some beautiful places and a state park. the price of land and housing is a little high because the area has grown so much. but there are jobs and schools and a Walmart. 🤣 ft. smith ark. is also right on the border of ok and it is a pretty big area with lots to offer shopping wise and prob job and housing wise. of course, you should always visit an area for making a big decision like that. hope that helped and we would be glad to have you here!

@@culvertsandmore thank you. I have looked at so many towns and some do not even have a gas station. I figured if they had a Walmart there is a better chance of the town having internet which is a must for me. Again thanks for the help. It’s beautiful with all the water and unspoiled nature in Oklahoma.

I know these girls have said that they aren't trying to compete with him or compare themselves to him so I'm sure they don't want any ill will between any of the channels that do this.
