FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.

Jen You are so lucky to be creating memories with Mom , Grandma and sometimes Dad.
Wish they pay you all for cleaning debris,so no flooded roads. The road crew,or city or whoever. You are super workers and Caring.
Thanks sharing all your journeys. Great Job Ladies. They should pay you for your services, my cell left that out above.
That was a whole bunch of girl power!!! Well done, ladies ❤
Maybe set the exit camera closer to the culverts so mum doesnt feel she has to run to show us the output? Great job ladies, Jen you put in a shift today, its like your new waders give you super powers 😊💪🏼😊
Love the longer video. Just stay safe.😊
Well done Jennifer, well done Jennifer's mum 🏆
Great work Ladies! Well Done and Thank you.
Aloha 🌺 Jen, Kim & Grandma! Great job! Please take care. 🌺🥰💐💖
There you are. You don’t know me, but am an avid fan of this channel and look forward to seeing your beautiful “Aloha” in the comments. Just know that you make someone you have never met and lives in New York, smile with one simple word. ❤
❤️❤️❤️ For the extra hard work!
Félicitations very good job 😅
Hello girls. I'm writing to you from Poland. I love your videos. You're doing a great job. Big hugs.
You need a rotor rooter tool or need to design one!😮
Great job ladies.
You are heroes. Working in wet boots in such cold temperatures is tough.
You can be proud that was exciting how you accomplished such a difficult culvert blockage!!
When I watch yall's videos, I'm not judging anything you do. I enjoy it. My opinion is that you two have been doing this way longer than I have. (Me: 0 times) And I have fun watching. I'm not picking apart every move you make. I love it when you post videos. I thank you for the entertainment! 😊❤
I just wanted you to know.
good job .💯👍👍 thank you ladies.
Good job,strong lady's👍
Молодцы! Ещё и лопату взяли❤! Супер!!😊😊😊
Another great video ladies, keep safe everyone, love watching your beautiful countryside from Down Under 🤗🇦🇺😀💖
Jen, I can’t wait to see you man handle a big log like we know you can!!! If you would position your body more strategically and use the tops of your arms and more legs, instead of trying to use your arms while extended and your back, you’d be a BEAST and wouldn’t need mom for big ones like that.
Love watching!!! Keep up the hard work!
I was thinking boy they could be doing the Lumberwomen's log dance on that log there, take care! Overall, your water looks incredibly very very clear so great that you are able to help it be healthy, water that moves, is healthy!
Great job, I feel like those culverts should have been a bit larger given the amount of water there.
Love it when I see another channel I subscribe to commenting!😍
Love you guys! Great job as always and thank you for sharing your hard work! Happy to get whatever videos we can… I’ve watched almost all of them at this point! It’s a great way to fall asleep to your voices and the water noises
Kimberly needed her waders today! I was wondering if you ever used a shovel and you answered that question for me today. Keep up the excellent work ladies!
Wow, 4c !! That's freezing, I'll bet the water is freezing as well. Another great video.
Teamwork, sweet!
Thank you for the clearings this day. Great water flow and whirlpools. Always look forward to them. See you on the next, Ladies!! ❤️❤️🙂👍🇺🇸
What a workout! Great video! ❤
Pooh sticks always fun.
Great. Job. Keep. Up. The. Good. Work. ! 🎉😊
Looks like fun making garvity wells lol
You Ladies are Amazing! God bless you! Stay safe!
Amazing???? You may have a different idea of what is amazing. lol
Excellent job.
Got water in your boots that time Kim😮
fantastic job girls
Hi I like your beautiful country and very good work. Take care of yourselves 🪷
Ylva Sweden 🇸🇪
Wow, another beautiful day unclogging culverts. ❤😊
I see “Post 10” is now working
Alabama 😊
He actually cross country traveling and while doing that if he comes to culverts he tackles em cause we'll that's Post10 the GOAT the original Culvert cleaner
Jen you were the logging beast today lol. Great job ladies now a hot bath and hot cup of tea.
Worth considering, it's not jsut what is directly blocking the culvert entrance (and inside) that affects water volume, but also blockages around the culvert.
For instance, the one near the start with all the mud in front of it has a small sand bar built up on one side that is restricting water flow from one side, digging that sand out should increase the flow significantly.
Jen without that guarantee, you're doing. You know how some of those Tennis players when they hit the ball they go. Grant grant grant. That's what you sound like when you're trying to move that out from in front of the cold heart. It's pretty funny
She’s working hard!! And it sounds like it! ❤
Wow, great job again ladies, i was out of breathe watching 👍
i'll bet post 10 is so jealous of your culverts 😁 good job) great family)
Get youselves a length of strong rope. Wrap it around some of those logs and the both of you might be able to drag on some of those bigger logs to move them out of the way. What you're doing is better than spending $20-$30 per mont at the gym. Good excercise.!
If you are going to keep doing the dangerous stuff we're going to have to donate some snorkel mask so if you fall you will still be able to breathe! Jen you were scaring me on a couple of those culverts! Or shoot get you the whole dive outfit so you will be extra safe!! I know some of your videos were filmed a while ago but it will be snake season so be extra careful 💜🐸
Another great post ladies xx
I have seen polarized lens filters could see through the water surface. Maybe you could get a lens or glasses to see better. People use them to watch fish.
Whilst watching, I pictured this scene - employed workers(EW) vs Jen and Mon.
EW boss "OK lads that culvert has a thumping big tree blocking it, I need you to go in and get it". Worker "But boss, you know if the water at the culvert is more than an inch deep we are not allowed to go in - Health and Safety Boss" Boss "Yeah. Ok lets leave this massive flood to get worse and go get some coffee."
Jen and Mom. Jen "I am going in mom." Mom thinks to herself 'if my pretty little Jen goes to far she may get sucked in - Oh gosh!!' "Be careful Jen." Jen thinks to herself 'I got these pretty Green waders and I am gonna use them' "OK mom."
Jen - A lot of heaving and grunting and some fierce looks later "Mom if you can hold that end (of this massive piece of wood some would call a fallen tree) I can maybe get it on top of the culvert." Mom "OK Jen. Argggh I got water in my boot!!!!" Jen thinking to herself 'ha! you shoulda worn your waders Mom oh my beloved Mom'
Not only did you girls clear the wood and massive pieces to boot but Jen goes walk-about in the raging stream!! I expected you to sing along the lines I got waders and gonna wade, I got waders and gonna wade.
You both deserved a coffee after that challenge girls. Well done.
Well done ladies, upto your armpits in freezing cold water x
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO LADIES 😊
You guys are tougher than most men!
How about marking the culverts with a can of florescent orange paint?
great work.
Good job Jennifer!
Great Video!
Keep at it ladies. Doing Gods work here.😅
great job jenn
Intermittent audio problems. That's happening to my phone, too. I have to replace it, unfortunately.
could be. we think that after a while our mics get water and dust in them and they start shorting out. we have started changing them out every now and then.
Good job!
Hi from Pensacola. Good job ladies.
Way to go Jen ❤😊
Boy you had some though work for this posting! You did your best! Take care….👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Several times ive seen ya'll at this same crossing, good job keeping it mostly off the road and no washouts except for dozer damage to plastic pipes and nothing a mini-saw cant help clean up !
Thanks
Thank you so much 😊
“We’re getting debris.” That’s what Oklahoma meteorologist say during tornados…lol
If a big log is in the way maybe carry a rope so you can use the truck to pull it out of the way. It may help.
I've said that before, but they don't want to, I guess. Maybe a come along might work.
Mom is the best, Jen too 😅❤❤❤❤ But where is your electric saw.
Huhuhuhúúúúúú!!! Fantastic!!!
Dear great ladies good morning love some time
Back I suggest u to use s pitch up not new one it will help u
To pull big logs n that is the right professional way I hope
Now will under stand better
Thks best rgds rafiq canada
😊
Jen, you are a dynamo today...please be careful.
It's sure looks like a beaver lodge.
Please be careful! worry when you are too close to fast moving water going in culvert like at 24 -28 minutes
Please be careful ladies
The current is very strong. It looks dangerous to stand in front of it. Please be careful.
29:00 - That culvert has been partially overloaded, that’s a timebomb with a very slow ticking timer.
Thank you once again for your awesome video. One thing I would think is you should sleep well at night😂😂😂😂❤❤. Lost your voices, now they are back.😮😮. Your voice is gone.
can you paint a line on concrete so that you can find the culverts next time?
Wow, that was alot of work done ! Great job in the fast flowing water and with those heavy logs ! Is the water cold like water in a fridge ? (I'm from the Caribbean, we don't get snow and cold temps)
it wasn't too bad. hands get the coldest but we powered through. it doesn't get too awful bad cold weather wise in Oklahoma either but we would prefer to be where you are!😂
one of the women is scard of the water
Neither of us is scared hun
You need a machete to clear the sticky bushes. So mom doesn’t get her head poked so much, and Jen not get stuck.
If there is not much going in, there won’t be much coming out.
water lavel not high you can go inside
You must go inside water level not too high
31:00 to 34:00 listen to the sound....what does that sound like to you?
Hey Kim what brand is that battery operated trimmer that you just got?
a.co/d/cgi3a47
Thanks for the info
Your daughter could help more-I’m old too..
My daughter was the one in the waist deep water while I stood on the side? She does plenty.
When they pull the rake up with all debris, why not throw the debris in a pile on the land. Almost every channel they just let the debris flow with the water, to me, common sense would say that debris may start to flow but it will just clog another spot. Only one channel actually pulls the majority of the debris out of the water.
The banks of our rivers get flooded a lot. It would end up right back in front of the culvert anyway if we left it to the side. In rural country like this it will be miles and miles between culverts. We aren’t really worried about the next one getting clogged.
@@myturn9431 what really needs to be accomplished with that muddy culvert is to channel river water to it in order to build pressure to remove loose "blockage and debris" in the pipe
The camera work needs help, but good stuff ladies
15:16 You wish you knew how to get back there? Walk through the stream.
Go get some Braums for a good days work!
Doesn’t braums have the best ice cream in the world? So good!
@@culvertsandmore Absolutely!!!
Don't forget Braums burgers. They are great. Crinkle cut fries. I'm going right now! 😄😄
Lost your audio!
Can't hear anything
Please take some time to set up an exit camera at the culvert you're working on. Running across the street is not the same. Put both cameras on a tripod because camera skills are terrible.
It’s 1 thing to provide feedback but to tell someone they’re doing something “terrible” that you aren’t doing is comical. If you feel like you can do it better, start your own RUclips channel and do it! Until then rest your fingers Keyboard Karen!
Please take time to SUCK IT!!!!!
@@mzqnclssy4146preach!!
we completely understand cause we love to have an exit camera as well. sometimes it just isn't possible due to a variety of reasons. sometimes we do sit down the camera but this is another case of we can't please everyone. some people like the close up shots and some people like the far away shots. we try to do a variety of both. thanks for watching!
Get a life
Jenni you get out of breath easily.
Thanks?
yeah its sort of a habit with 60% of americans:-)
Let's see you do that work! Sitting behind your computer.! I did it for 40 years, it's a lot harder than you think!
Nooo, you need to show us the draining! That is so annoying to tease us with a nice-looking unclogging and then just stop and leave!
sorry but we don't really have the luxury of being at a culvert to watch it drain for 20 minutes. most people are going to find just watching something drain boring so then we would only be able to use maybe 5 minutes of that footage. that means less culverts done that day. we try to please everyone but it's not always a possibility.
@@culvertsandmore I understand.. ☺
I agree Madita. That why I LOVE Post10.
we would love to be able to do what he does. since he only has the channel for income he can go out every day and do culverts. we only get to go out once a week. maybe someday.
@@culvertsandmorehonestly he’s moved to other things so much that he really doesn’t offer what you do anymore. You’re rocking things! We appreciate you!
When digging is needed chat doesn't do it
Wow. Awesome work you two! Jen, my stomach muscles were aching watching you move those logs. You are both incredible 💜🇬🇧
Great work, what a team effort! 😎🇨🇦😎
You need a round point shovel so you can dig ditch to increase water flow
