At least it had something, in Sims 4 many sims created prior to seasons might not have winter clothes and thus just die in front of my house, and it only takes a few hours, that's like 30 seconds on max time speed, had to clean up 3 graves already >_

Well honestly, only the sims 4 one is realistic in that manner. Its very, very hard to heat up a hypothermic person if you're outside or even if you get to a cottage but havent heated it up. I learned this living on Svalbard and of all the threats like scooter accident, polar bear eating you, avalanches etc. hypothermia definitely is the most dangerous and prevalent
or how toddlers can sleep in dog beds, which is what I do most of the time seeing as it takes too much effort to put them in their crib, its just more convenient so then I can build their skills more easily
I'm halfway through the video, I remember in Sims 2 one time it snowed so much that school was closed. A kid was sitting on the couch watching the news (or weather channel, can't remember) and they said school was closed. He started to cheer. So cute.
@@Alex-gg9ht sometimes. It had been snowing all day and night. I had my son ready for school but he turned on the tv and saw school was closed. I can't remember if work was closed too
Seasons was always such a nice addition to the game and changed up everything. I've liked Seasons in every sims iteration for sure. Only thing that kinda irks me a bit is that Sims 3 using recycled animation from the Sims 2 as per usual. I like the festivals in 3, but they only came at certain times so there wasn't too much to do in the other seasons in terms of activities that wasn't Winter. I love the penguin from Sims 2 whenever it came. Though all in all I gotta give it to Sims 4. There feels like a sense of time passing seeing holidays play out and having an actual proper Christmas (Winterfest). Will you eventually do a comparison on gardening from all three games? :)
Thank you for your comment, very informative, there are quite a few I didn't know here, I've never had a gift go unappreciated but that's an amazing detail! And I was thinking to talk about gardening in Spring since it's enhanced in that season but I'm still unsure because it's a whole skill, I'll either include it there or dedicate a whole video to it alone depending on the video's lenght and how important it seems for spring.
The Red Plumbob Yeah there's a lot of nice details in this pack and it's really refreshing. Maybe talk a bit about it in Spring since bees can pollinate the plants and do more in-depth in a desperate video since we get a new gardening career. One of my favorite objects in game is using the bees to attack people mwahaha.
All sims 4 things so far have been a huge downgrade from sims 3 and 2 except this. I think sims 4 seasons could be the best seasons yet. I really don't like sims 4 because of how bad it is compared to its previous two games 2 and 3 but I've got to give it credit for this expansion.
Lyric Lansan nope. Sims 4 has done a bunch of things right. Sims 4 Toddlers and Pets, aka the things people wanted most, are far superior to the others sims in my opinion
Very good work! Thanks! ✌ Still upset by the lack of snow depth in The Sims 4 but the game is very pretty. I love the animations from The Sims 2! The game has nothing to envy to its successors! 🏅
Rémi Marocelli I thought the snow was going to be an issue but once there it's not that bad, the footprints help. I know I could've used holidays in Sims 2 Seasons but it was great for its time. One thing I enjoyed a lot was their snowball fight, it such a little detail but while the others struggle and stick to one spot or move at awkward angles , the ones in sims 2 just move freely and it flows naturally.
There actually is snow depth in Sims 4! If it’s not a lot of snow coming down, it barely stays on the ground but you can still see it a little bit. And it won’t let you do the snow interactions, just like in the sims 3. Snow depth in Sims 4 is not as good as the previous one, but I think they did an amazing job with the festivities and holidays. And also, there’s not only one kind of skating rings in Sims 4, there’s different types of them, even a cardboard one 😂
i love the sims 2’s animations too! the sims 4’s animations in this video looked.. jiggly? like a bowl of jello. they’re very exaggerated to the point of being distracting (especially when they were making snowmen). i’ll give the game credit though, the seasonal transitions in 4 are beautiful!
WithinTheShadows well I had snow in autumn in sims 4 and it was like patchy bits of snow on the floor and the windows got iced up but it wasn’t enough snow to create anything with so there’s probably just 2 variants of snow
To be fair, snow depth in previous games looked pretty bad anyway. There were no tracks in deep snow, it looked like the characters just glitched through the terrain.
I love how in depth the holidays are in TS4 Seasons, and being able to create your own is Awesome! So I'd say TS4 Seasons wins by a landslide, I mean Seasons is great in all the games so it was hard to decide but TS4 just about wins it for me.
Percy It's their preference and I understand if you have a different preference. (BUT) You don't have to say "No." to their preference and it would be much more understandable if you said you were stating a preference. No, I'm not trying to start a fight.
I agree. I only wish I could change the length of the seasons like I could in the sims 3. Where I live we have no real winter. It is just an extended fall. I think the last time it actually snowed where I live was in the 1970s. So I find it a bit annoying that I can't just skip winter or shorten it to make it more like where I live.
Should be worth mentioning for the Sims 2, you can buy a mistletoe and have Sims kiss under it (be careful though, it's considered a romantic interaction and will ruin relationships). You can bake Santa cookies anytime in the Winter and Santa should show up by the Christmas tree around 8pm to drop off a gift (then he'll kind of hang around the house, talk, hug, use the toilet, etc). Sims can throw a New Year's Bash that will give Sims time to prepare for 8pm when the party begins. Father Time will show up around 11pm, they'll go out, make some noise until the New Year hits. Father Time will turn into Baby New Year and the party usually ends right after. I think I just summed up the Holiday pack, but festive interactions are there:)
I feel like I still love the Sims 3 the most. (Bc when Sims 4 came alot of people said they liked Sims 3 more) Edit: No I don't like it because other people like it. I was trying to explain why I used "still" Edit: yeah I stopped playing sims
Da Boo I was trying to explain why I used the word "still" in my sentence. I like it the most because the game packs always had something interesting etc etc.
Sims 4 and 2 are 100% better than the mess they called sims 3. Sims 3 was just advertised and pushed out so much that a gained a lot of new players who’s only experience was with sims 3 and not sims 2 so they don’t know how disappointed with it they should be. Sims 4 seasons is better than sims 2 seasons for sure though.
This is probably the only time where Sims 4 will take the cake! Seasons has been SO FUN for me so far, and I honestly thought that nothing could top Sims 3 seasons. I loved the Sims 3 seasons festivals so much, I couldn't wait until every Thursday when they came around. But to be able to make your own holidays and have multiple holidays in one seasons, and for all those holidays to be very specific in what they're about, just made the game so much better! Simmers knew it all along: Seasons was EXACTLY what the game needed! (:
Im so proud of EA when it came to the Sims 4 Seasons, they really outdid themselves and it’s already my favorite expansion by fair. Hopefully this means they’re finally getting it together (no pun intended). I love everything about this expansions, except for the snow depth but despite that it’s still amazing. Also idk why but I really miss the penguin from the sims 2.
Tüp Çokokrem Better now then never. It's one out of two DLCs actually worth spending money on. I'm not saying s4 will suddenly start to get better (this part was a waisted oportunity let's be honest), but at least this pack makes the game less boring.
Bill Cipher {El Dios del Caos} TS2 was great for its time. The penguin, the natural animations, the cc and the gameplay. You had so much to do, Sims 4 in contrast is a shallow engine for awesome mods ^^'
Lars T. Then people would’ve complained, plus it would’ve taken time away from stuff like the holidays or the calendar that are really cool. But that’s my opinion
My all time favourite is Sims 3 seasons. I always wanted it, even years ago (around 2013), and now I could finally buy it. Winter is my favourite, it's just so beautiful.
This time Sims 4 seasons wins :D It's really well done and enjoyable to play. All 4 seasons look great and add this 'thing' which makes this game no longer so boring. ^^
I honestly LOVE "seasons" packs in all three games :D I've had no issues with seasons for TS4, and I love holidays. I can't even say which one is better right now: TS3 or TS4? (Because, for me, TS2 is third :P) and that's good.
I love the seasons expansion pack but I am realizing something. It tends to cater towards people who celebrate Christmas, easter, Halloween, ect. I know TS4 does have create a holiday but sometimes it can be hard to create holidays like lunar new year. There are decorative items like a gift basket but it doesnt change that I have issues. I know that most of their customers appear to be westerners and they have been working on expanding. But things like multiple holiday traits that are dedicated to western holidays, when there are barely any for the rest of the world feels unfair. I do think it could be worked upon. Like adding things like a Chinese dragon dance or decorations that mean more than just looking nice (kinda like the Christmas tree) could add more relatability for more people.
Yeah, Sims 4 is a bit more aware of this, they've added a bit of stuff from other cultures so they're not there yet but I think they're heading on the right direction.
Honestly. Open World with snow, snowboarding, the festivals in general, ice skating on lakes, igloos, different snow depths... It's soo in depth and pretty!
Rachel T I agree with people in that sims 3 have much more content than 4, but, sims 4 is the best of the saga, even if I played sims 2 for years, the cas, the emotions, the multitasking, the half cartoonish graphics, that damned beautiful user interface, everything on sims 4 is great for me, even that loading screen (because open world lagged and bugged as hell on 3) hate to sims 4 is nothing but nostalgia, when sims 5 come everybody will be saying "this is shit, sims 4 was better" and the cycle repeats xD
@@snowwhitequeen316 the thing is that ea make incomplete games, and sell you all you wanted in the original game on dlc, ea is doing this since long time ago with their games :l
sims 4 hands down. at first i thought oh man.. no snow depth and sometimes tho, it bothers me, but at the same time it depends on what world you are in. in the video u forgot to include an important detail in sims 4 seasons. each season can be different in each world. xD like in the jungle game pack. that world wont see snow. but will get more rain and cold temps, and some worlds have small amount of snow. while others gets a ton of it. xD thats one of the things i love about the seasons in sims 4. yes no snow depth, but the fact that they went back to the other worlds to make them not only look amazing in detail wif each season, but also.. made how they work in them more logical and realistic. between the diversity and detail with the seasons in sims 4, and the holidays that you can make(also traditions that u can do), to me sims 4 seasons won hands down. i love sims 3 seaons, and snow depth was op. but.. when u zoom out in the world in sims 4 during winter, do it in each world and u will be amazed. :) i cant wait to see ur spring, summer and fall videos. winter and fall are my favorate in the game so far :)
my ranking: the sims 2, the sims 3, the sims 4 the sims 2 animations, like the toddler eating snow and the couple ice skating, are my favourite. i also like the world outdoor lighting. as someone who lives in the high arctic, i think it gets the winter grey cast the most accurate. and the penguin is totally adorable 😭 i'm 100% biased towards the sims 2, it was my introduction to the sims and over ten years later i still have fun and love playing it 💘 in the sims 3, i love the addition of igloos! and small details like icicles forming and hanging outdoor lights mean a lot more to me than they should 😂 it has my least favourite snowmen of all three packs though. the only two i like are the regular and sporty snowmen, the rest are just plain ol' ugly. i don't have much to say for the sims 4. i already don't care much for it and seasons isn't swaying me. the lack of snow depth bothers me a lot, which i didn't expect. i guess until now i never realized how much i like deep snow. the appeal for the sims 4 is holidays but i'm not very interested in them, after the first time experiencing a holiday it just becomes another day.
I think from a visual perspective Sims 2 did the best, for the way winter affects the whole world Sims 3 did a better job and lastly, Sims 4 did a better job in the holiday charm. They're all good imo
Wait, the toddler playing in the snow (sims 4) looks like Ladybug/Marinette... look at that coat and those pigtails!! Even the same coloured hair!! 12:28
I kinda think John and Anne need to be a Celebrity bc they’re in all of ur videos ;v; (We actually should respect Anne and John bc they had to die so many times TwT)
Snow depth was awesome in TS2 & TS3. Snow does accumulate and that should always be shown. I do like the expansion on the holidays and season activities in TS4. Still, overall I think TS3 is better here even if TS4 does some things better. But seasons seems like a definite plus for TS4. Not nearly enough to get me to buy into TS4 but hey it seems cool in this one area.
Lia Sicilia I love both games and I genuinely don't want to compare my favourite games of all time just to tell which one is better and which one is the worst😊
Playmaker i enjoy ts4, others dont. I enjoy ts3, some dont. I enjoy ts2, some dont. Its just a matter of whether you enjoy the game even if it actually lacks content like you say😊
Great video! I haven't yet explored everything about Seasons and this was just a really fantastic showcase of all the activities that I am yet to enjoy in Sims 4 that are similar with my fave Sims 3 :)
This is really just from watching the video, I’ve never played sims 2, I don’t have seasons for 3, and I just got seasons for 4 like yesterday (I’m excited though, it looks really fun). Something I found out though is that if it’s cloudy (or if there’s not much sun, I guess) vampires can go out in the day without their energy being drained and the uncomfortable moodlet. Good for me, because that means vampires can do so much more (not during the summer though lol) during the day if it’s cloudy. So the sims 2, from my perspective seems like the basis of the two other game’s packs. The sims 3 seasons also looks really fun, as you showed the activities like face painting. It really fits in how open the world is in the sims 3, and gives it a nice real life feel. The sims 4 no doubt has the best looking snow and animations. I don’t know if the hairdryer option is still there in the fourth, because you didn’t show it. The sims 4 has a lot of family stuff, and tradition. The sims 3 seems more recreational, with the snowboarding and stuff. But I do want to say the sims 4 would win this nonexistent debate, as it has the smoothest and best graphics, and focuses on a family aspect in winter that I didn’t see in 2 or 3
1. The Sims 3 Seasons 2. The Sims 4 Seasons 3. The sims 2 Seasons (because i haven't played ts2 but ngl it'd probs be no.1 if i tried it ts4 lacks so much. ts3 is perfect tho, I grew up with that game and still play it now 6 years after i first played it).
I finally have an Ep to call my favourite in ts4, every expansion felt like it's been lacking even cats and dogs, I didn't feel the addition of pets added as much as I'd like to the overall gameplay. But seasons totally revamps it and makes sims 4 a more fulfilling experience. Now I'm playing it like ts3, non stop binge. Dk if that's good tho lmao
The Sims and Sims 2 will always have a special place in my heart. Plus I really enjoy those silly things they put in the games, like the hair dryer interaction. Would love if they could bring it back in a patch, maybe.
João Vitor Mendes Cerqueira It's not only a terrain color stop saying bs. There are footprints in it and you can do snow angels, and the game in general looks more aesthetically pleasing compared to Sims 3 & Sims 2
I like how Seasons were implemented in Sims 4 -- blizzards look very blizzardly, and the holidays are great -- but things I wish had been carried over from Sims 2/3: -->Variable snow depth (duh) -->That Igloo-building interaction (looks fun!) -->A few more varieties of snowpal (Reaper and Alien would have been fun options) -->Couples twirling on the skating rinks (I was thrilled to have them come back, but now my OTP Sims can't actually interact while rollerblading/ice skating! D:)
Something I wish you could in the Sims 4 is when a cat or dog pees in the snow, it turns yellow, and Sims can make a snowcone out of it and give it to another Sim as a mean or mischief action. I'd love to recreate my enemies and do that lmao
Ppl find a way to bitch about anything. I remember when people were getting triggered because there was no dishwasher even though you could literally click and drag plates into the sink.
Shatter Mind it's not bitching if people think one game is better than the other. Imo yes, ts3 is better than ts4. You can't say people are bitching about something because they have a different opinion than yours
I think it was because the couldn’t make it look good in its different depths so they decided to make it look good (which it does) in one depth and focus on other, more important features for the pack
I suppose it would've been difficult as it would have been another thing to program throughout different worlds considering every world is affected differently by seasons.
Sims 4 had a lot going on, but there's just something about Sims 3 winter. I would just lock it to winter and play for weeks. I loved how the windows frosted up, the snow accumulated, I could skate on a frozen pond, and something about it was just so calming. In real life, I hate winter and snow and ice, but I love it in Sims 3.
For me it was the sims 3 because sims 4 winters seem too bright. And unrealistic too. It always snows inside the winter season and melts on the first day of spring like that's not it 😂. The beginning of spring is still cold. Plus sunsets at 7pm like no,thats not how winter works. And to top it off. Temperatures. Sims 3 seasons wins on that
though the sims 4 seasons is their best and probably only real hit expansion pack so far, in my opinion the sims 3’s seasons takes the cake. i had so much fun playing the seasons on s3, there are lots of activities to do and i just remember never getting bored.
omg thank you so much for making these comparison videos!! haha makes it so much easier for me to choose either sims 3 or sims 4, idk why sims 4 has so much hate, judging by this video sims 4 looks like there a lot more to do and more details lol
They all have their great points and downsides. I loved the penguin & ice skating kiss from TS2. The adjustable season length, snow board pond skating & igloo woohooing in TS3 are great too. And Seasons is definitely the most in depth TS4 EP so far, even more so than Get Famous. I love depth to the holidays & that blizzards have effect. In TS3 I once sent a sim out in to get groceries, forgot & found her happily chatting to a goup of sims behind the grocery store in the middle of a blizzard, it was hilarious but ridiculous.
Actually Sims 4 winter is kinda good, it makes me wonder why they don't put this much efforts in things like occult sims (you only get mermaids, vampires and aliens) and the robots.
I hate how people are choosing the sims 4, probably just because they’re biased & have only just started playing the sims when the sims 4 was released. I own every game sims 2 to sims 4 & I can honestly say that the sims 3 seasons was the best. The open world made the seasons so immersive, the snow activities were great, I loved the snow boarding aspect & just all the seasons in general. Fall was so fun with the pumpkin carving, costume parties & actually being able to go trick or treating yourself due to the open world & actually come back with candy. You didn’t have to buy a seperate ‘spooky pack’ for it to have pumpkin carving & unique costumes.
Omg the ice skating backflip!! I think that's paying tribute to an Olympic ice skater that always did backflips during her performances! I forgot her name but she's awesome for being able to do that
u know what is so awesome about the sims 2 seasons winter is that if it was snowing and it was like deep deep snow and it was a school there would be a notification up in the right corner and it would say it was a snow day and the kids/teens would stay home from school 😂🥰
Hello, I’m French and I learn English (sorry for my English). I play Sims 4 and I played Sims 3 so I love your videos. The text is written so I can understand almost all and it’s a very great pleasure to see your work (I think it’s very long to do this), so thank you ! PS: If you want you can correct my English, it will be helpful
Hey there, thank you so much! I'm glad you can understand them, English isn't my first language either and i'm actually trying to learn french, so yeah, small world lol
the snow depth is the only thing that kind of throws it off but overall, sims 4 seasons is actually pretty good with all the new things we never got before!
I've got to say, I'm a little disappointed that you left certain things out of Sims 2. Now it's been years since I've played Sims 2 but they had Santa who came down the chimney ONLY if you leave milk and cookies. He would leave you gifts under the tree. I think toys in the stockings too. I'm sure there was a jingle of bells before he arrives too. There were mistletoes that you could kiss under and I'm pretty sure that snowmen had melted states. I'm sure there is more but I may be mistaken on some things so feel free to correct me. I understand cutting stuff out for time but to leave out things that Sims2 shares with Sims4 makes the video come off like one big Sims 4 Seasons ad.
The thing is, I'm not talking about Christmas here, I'm talking about winter in the Seasons expansion pack and Sims 4 included "Christmas" in it, Sims 2 did not.
I was thinking the same, Sims 2 does all the same things like having a christmas party, kissing under the mistletoe and eating a turkey together. However I think all of these things were included in the Christmas Party pack and not The Sims 2 Seasons.
Thumbs Up For:
Sims 2
Sims 3
Sims 4

-If you try for baby with father winter your baby will have the trait Father Winter's baby

no yes! Sad that they didn't put all of those things (like toddlers, the basements) at first. But they are getting so much better!
Rémi Marocelli I think Sims 2 was the last time the actual creator of Sims worked on a Sims game
I absolutely despise the snowball fight animation for the Sims 4. It seems extremely lacking compared to everything else.
Winter in Sims 4 looks great even though there is no deep snow.
I know. At least there are footprints.
WithinTheShadows well I had snow in autumn in sims 4 and it was like patchy bits of snow on the floor and the windows got iced up but it wasn’t enough snow to create anything with so there’s probably just 2 variants of snow
WithinTheShadows We don't need snow depth.
To be fair, snow depth in previous games looked pretty bad anyway. There were no tracks in deep snow, it looked like the characters just glitched through the terrain.
@@du6167 um.. idk what game you were playing but deep snow in TS3 does have footsteps
I love how in depth the holidays are in TS4 Seasons, and being able to create your own is Awesome! So I'd say TS4 Seasons wins by a landslide, I mean Seasons is great in all the games so it was hard to decide but TS4 just about wins it for me.
i can belive i am saying this but in this case ts4 is the best
PikaPlayzHD same
How 'bout no.
I love seasons
At 7:48 it kind of sounded like one of the sims called another sim a noob.
"You're a noob!"
Random Randolph lol i heard it too XD
Chocolate Milk
I didn't actually hear the *B* but I said it *kind of* sounded like it
Random Randolph I heard "you're new!"
Chocolate Milk that’s what she typed.. .-.
It sounded like
"You're a noob!"
"Am not"
"It's true though!"
The dog in the background is like: “hello darkness, my old friend”
3:24
😄😂🤣🤣
Falling snow in The Sims 2 still look the best, it's so immersive.
TS4 is definitely the best overall but the festivals from TS3 and the penguin and snow-eating toddlers from TS2 are amazing as well!
The animations in Sims 2 are so detailed and smooth
Yes, So much effort and heart was put into the games back then.
The Sims 2 and the Sims 3 are the best ones by far, I mean the community agrees as well so it's all good :D
Yes, it had a holiday pack, the thing is I'm not talking about holiday packs but Season packs, otherwise I would've mentioned it.
The Red Plumbob Aw dang, completely missed the point, didn't I? My bad:)
Nah, don't worry.
I feel like I still love the Sims 3 the most. (Bc when Sims 4 came alot of people said they liked Sims 3 more)
Edit: No I don't like it because other people like it. I was trying to explain why I used "still"
Edit: yeah I stopped playing sims
Da Boo I was trying to explain why I used the word "still" in my sentence. I like it the most because the game packs always had something interesting etc etc.
Da Boo i like their features but the graphic is less real and too “cartoonic”
Sims 4 and 2 are 100% better than the mess they called sims 3. Sims 3 was just advertised and pushed out so much that a gained a lot of new players who’s only experience was with sims 3 and not sims 2 so they don’t know how disappointed with it they should be. Sims 4 seasons is better than sims 2 seasons for sure though.
Sky Dome you forgot to mention the lag, shit and rushed animations, bad graphics, lack of things to do and everything sims 2 did right was lost
sims 4 isnt very detailed except in sim's emotion
You also forgot one thing.
In the sims 3, for school, kids and teens can have snowdays. I thought that was cute and awesome
You can do this on the sims 4 you just need to make a holiday
snowdays? sims 3 really is an american game, maybe that's why other countries and cultures don't really like it lol
@@Igotgamesonmyphone true but that’s the catch. Otherwise sims would still go to school even when they’re in the middle of a blizzard
Finally you can decorate the Christmas tree
Nimh this is what happens when you don’t rush the developers or give them a hard time.
Not really. They just ported most of the content from the sims 3. Changed it a bit and added holidays. And its £40 which is ridiculous.
I agree, when your constantly down developers throats expect a half assed job.
In Poland it costs 119zł (£24.76)
@@Scoffslaphead72 literally something a person who knows nothing about coding would say
I'm so happy that they finally gave some life and fun to the sims 4 :D
Dragon Psyche With DLC..
Tüp Çokokrem Better now then never. It's one out of two DLCs actually worth spending money on. I'm not saying s4 will suddenly start to get better (this part was a waisted oportunity let's be honest), but at least this pack makes the game less boring.
Dragon Psyche I agree but I still can’t get used to the fact that we are paying for seasons.. But still, you’re right
we’ve always had to pay for seasons. it’s nothing new.
Tüp Çokokrem the sims 3 seasons was paid for y'all sound real dumb asking that question when u know the sims 3 seasons was paid for too srry not srry
TS4 is the best, but I kinda miss the Penguin from TS2 XD
Bill Cipher {El Dios del Caos} TS2 was great for its time. The penguin, the natural animations, the cc and the gameplay. You had so much to do, Sims 4 in contrast is a shallow engine for awesome mods ^^'
@@auntiejuly Its not shallow n comparision ! Its modern. The sims always try sto be a comment on socitity.
The Sims 3 is the best, but I do agree on the penguin, even though I still haven't played 2 yet
The Sims 4 seasons is lit tbh. I just wish they could bring back the festivals & greeting card photos
Reem Festivals came with City Living so I don’t think they would bring something new to the game if Seasons added some too.
Pablo Ranz They should have added a winter festival for City Living that comes with Seasons
Lars T. Then people would’ve complained, plus it would’ve taken time away from stuff like the holidays or the calendar that are really cool. But that’s my opinion
Festival of city living is boring asf, i hope they can bring season festival like ts3
I wish sims 4 had slow dancing
The woman who got annoyed when they feel while skating had me dying😂
My all time favourite is Sims 3 seasons. I always wanted it, even years ago (around 2013), and now I could finally buy it. Winter is my favourite, it's just so beautiful.
If you took every good aspect from each of the games and put it into one we would never complain and have the perfect version of the sims.
Thank you for your dedication to do all of your videos, it feels satisfying compare in this way. ♥♥♥
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy them!
This time Sims 4 seasons wins :D It's really well done and enjoyable to play. All 4 seasons look great and add this 'thing' which makes this game no longer so boring. ^^
Anhaeyn if you haven’t already I totally recommend buying sims 4 Seasons, it’s totally worth it.
moonlight arinaitorxx way better than get to work 😂
I honestly LOVE "seasons" packs in all three games :D I've had no issues with seasons for TS4, and I love holidays. I can't even say which one is better right now: TS3 or TS4? (Because, for me, TS2 is third :P) and that's good.
One cute little detail in the Sims 4 is that toddlers can share stories with the snowmen (snowpals as they are known in game)
Sims 3 the best ❤⛄❄
Sims 4 :p
Mystical_ivy ok
Honestly. Open World with snow, snowboarding, the festivals in general, ice skating on lakes, igloos, different snow depths... It's soo in depth and pretty!
Of course sims 3 is the best
I hope Sims 5 is in Open World like Sims 3 :(
The sims 2 has better animations and its just more realistic in general 💕🙋🤗
supermäry No offense to you or anything but do you think finding a penguin randomly near your house is realistic when you're not living in the Arctic
Simply Aim that one is just to make it funny
Finlly someone who understands
The snow angels are more realistic in sims 4
Simply Aim 😂thats the unrealistic part lol
Sims 4 animations look kinda weird, especially the snowball fight one. But still, they did a great job with the festivities!
Wow sims got angrier as the version goes up... Like sims 2 sims destoyed the snowman with joy but sims 4 is like pissed off
the penguin in TS2 was the most random funny thing I ever encountered and I loved it
I love The Sims 4 Seasons
DawidKamilKrystian me too ! In season we can create our own holiday!
DawidKamilKrystian jesteś z Polski ??
TheSims Olga Yes :D

“Toddlers can play in the snow...”
“And Eat it”
*lovely huh?*
Had me rollin 😂😂😂😂
everybody said the sims 4 seasons would be bad because de snow depth but if you ask me, is the best sims seasons to date :3
Blu Maybe because EA will make Sims 5 even worse (I think they won't even make it)
@@snowwhitequeen316 the thing is that ea make incomplete games, and sell you all you wanted in the original game on dlc, ea is doing this since long time ago with their games :l
Actually Sims 3 and 4 were the best but I prefer Sims 3
sims 3 seasons are bad tbh, sims 2 has more depth
Sims 3's snow angel was seriously REALISTIC and the snow mannnn
The Sims 4 wins. I like the The Sims 4 Seasons.
the snow of the sims 4 is just a white paint because it does not accumulate
João Vitor Mendes Cerqueira But it fits it pretty well and they worked more on the city’s so if looks and feels well by looking at it
I like the pet expansion
@@joaovitormendescerqueira6985 i think thats that so your computer doesn't kill its self overdose on lag
sims 4 seasons is awesome, i gave my kids the entire summer off
kadence omg 😂
The sims 4 did an incredible job on seasons!
Hurray, here it is a comparison of the seasons!I love the sims 4!
yes, in general it is used in all the new sims, something of the old!
sims 4 hands down. at first i thought oh man.. no snow depth and sometimes tho, it bothers me, but at the same time it depends on what world you are in. in the video u forgot to include an important detail in sims 4 seasons. each season can be different in each world. xD like in the jungle game pack. that world wont see snow. but will get more rain and cold temps, and some worlds have small amount of snow. while others gets a ton of it. xD thats one of the things i love about the seasons in sims 4. yes no snow depth, but the fact that they went back to the other worlds to make them not only look amazing in detail wif each season, but also.. made how they work in them more logical and realistic. between the diversity and detail with the seasons in sims 4, and the holidays that you can make(also traditions that u can do), to me sims 4 seasons won hands down. i love sims 3 seaons, and snow depth was op. but.. when u zoom out in the world in sims 4 during winter, do it in each world and u will be amazed. :) i cant wait to see ur spring, summer and fall videos. winter and fall are my favorate in the game so far :)
Your videos show me more and more that the sims 4 is but a shell of the sims 2 and 3. However, they did very well on the seasons pack
1:10 who else just finds that clapping and squealing weirdly annoying.
Aaron Thompson my thoughts exactly 😂
The Sims 3 in general has the worst voice actors, lmao.
my ranking: the sims 2, the sims 3, the sims 4
the sims 2 animations, like the toddler eating snow and the couple ice skating, are my favourite. i also like the world outdoor lighting. as someone who lives in the high arctic, i think it gets the winter grey cast the most accurate. and the penguin is totally adorable 😭 i'm 100% biased towards the sims 2, it was my introduction to the sims and over ten years later i still have fun and love playing it 💘
in the sims 3, i love the addition of igloos! and small details like icicles forming and hanging outdoor lights mean a lot more to me than they should 😂 it has my least favourite snowmen of all three packs though. the only two i like are the regular and sporty snowmen, the rest are just plain ol' ugly.
i don't have much to say for the sims 4. i already don't care much for it and seasons isn't swaying me. the lack of snow depth bothers me a lot, which i didn't expect. i guess until now i never realized how much i like deep snow. the appeal for the sims 4 is holidays but i'm not very interested in them, after the first time experiencing a holiday it just becomes another day.
Cole Collision I know how you feel. I really appreciate the frozen windows in TS3 and 4. 🤩
I kinda think John and Anne need to be a Celebrity bc they’re in all of ur videos ;v;
(We actually should respect Anne and John bc they had to die so many times TwT)
Snow depth was awesome in TS2 & TS3. Snow does accumulate and that should always be shown. I do like the expansion on the holidays and season activities in TS4. Still, overall I think TS3 is better here even if TS4 does some things better. But seasons seems like a definite plus for TS4. Not nearly enough to get me to buy into TS4 but hey it seems cool in this one area.
Sims 3 is superior
Lia Sicilia I love both games and I genuinely don't want to compare my favourite games of all time just to tell which one is better and which one is the worst😊
lmao tbh sims 4 is not on level of sims 3 and sims 2
Playmaker i enjoy ts4, others dont. I enjoy ts3, some dont. I enjoy ts2, some dont. Its just a matter of whether you enjoy the game even if it actually lacks content like you say😊
sims 4 is just a trash game. please dont compare it with sims 3.
Jo Jo I mean I still play sims 4 for hours but it DOES NOT LIVE UP WITH SIMS 3 LIKE I HAD THE BEST TIMES WITH THAT GAME
Oh my god 😂 they used the same house for every game! clever!
Great video! I haven't yet explored everything about Seasons and this was just a really fantastic showcase of all the activities that I am yet to enjoy in Sims 4 that are similar with my fave Sims 3 :)
When it was the skating part:
Me: "What is this? Yuri On Ice?
OMG YES
S T O P
The gay ice skating anime is everywhere
or monika on ice
WE WERE BORN TO MAKE HISTORY
But I do want to say the sims 4 would win this nonexistent debate, as it has the smoothest and best graphics, and focuses on a family aspect in winter that I didn’t see in 2 or 3
1. The Sims 4 Seasons
2. The Sims 3 Seasons
3. The Sims 2 Seasons
I strongly disagree.
Shep Why? Which one is yours favourite?
1. The sims 3 seasons
2. The sims 4 seasons
3. The sims 2 seasons
4. The cool 3D skating from TS1
TS2 and TS4 where kinda tied
1. The Sims 3 Seasons
2. The Sims 4 Seasons
3. The sims 2 Seasons (because i haven't played ts2 but ngl it'd probs be no.1 if i tried it ts4 lacks so much. ts3 is perfect tho, I grew up with that game and still play it now 6 years after i first played it).
Epic Nessofgamenobs 4 was better than 2 it has more
I finally have an Ep to call my favourite in ts4, every expansion felt like it's been lacking even cats and dogs, I didn't feel the addition of pets added as much as I'd like to the overall gameplay. But seasons totally revamps it and makes sims 4 a more fulfilling experience. Now I'm playing it like ts3, non stop binge. Dk if that's good tho lmao
omfg penguins in sims 2?!
I had no idea that there was in this game :0
4:35 many irl skaters would be jealous of that layback spin
Remember the lag in The Sims 2 and 3 because of snow depth?
this is what people need to underrstandd
Still enjoyed it more than TS4 seasons
No? It didn’t create much lag. People make this up
Sims Angel lol no. If you had a laptop or an older PC, it would lag like hell. Just because it didn’t lag to you, doesn’t mean it didn’t lag to anyone
Sims Angel yh it is the cc
The Sims and Sims 2 will always have a special place in my heart. Plus I really enjoy those silly things they put in the games, like the hair dryer interaction. Would love if they could bring it back in a patch, maybe.
9:59 i swear i heard santa say “father” while handing the dad sim a gift!
The Red Plumbob : you can take a "peek"
Sim : *causally opens the box*
for me, TS4 seasons wins! i’ve never had this much fun playing a game! however, TS3 is not too far behind!
behind? the snow of the sims 4 is only a white paint because it does not accumulate and the rain is only a camera effect
people are allowed to have diffrent opinions then you stop getting so defensive
João Vitor Mendes Cerqueira It's not only a terrain color stop saying bs. There are footprints in it and you can do snow angels, and the game in general looks more aesthetically pleasing compared to Sims 3 & Sims 2
João Vitor Mendes Cerqueira snow looks aren't everything.
The activities and functions of the pack are what make it an overall amazing pack.
João Vitor Mendes Cerqueira yes i said behind. never cared to much about snow depth anyway.
I like how Seasons were implemented in Sims 4 -- blizzards look very blizzardly, and the holidays are great -- but things I wish had been carried over from Sims 2/3:
-->Variable snow depth (duh)
-->That Igloo-building interaction (looks fun!)
-->A few more varieties of snowpal (Reaper and Alien would have been fun options)
-->Couples twirling on the skating rinks (I was thrilled to have them come back, but now my OTP Sims can't actually interact while rollerblading/ice skating! D:)
Something I wish you could in the Sims 4 is when a cat or dog pees in the snow, it turns yellow, and Sims can make a snowcone out of it and give it to another Sim as a mean or mischief action. I'd love to recreate my enemies and do that lmao
6:35 that’s definitely the sound of someone that just froze 😂
Everyone is complaining about Snow Depth in Sims 4, but the amount of things you can do in s4s seems like enough to not really care about snow depth.
@@MystiqueSubs____ That is bitching lmao. They want the feature from the previous and put it in the recent game.
The hair dryer always used to crack me up 😂
I hate the fact that TS4 doesn't have snow depth, probably “to make it suitable for laptops”.
yeah my laptop can run the sims three with all expansions and with some performence fixing mods
I think it was because the couldn’t make it look good in its different depths so they decided to make it look good (which it does) in one depth and focus on other, more important features for the pack
Huh, I thought it was because it would look weird for the way the worlds are built, but only they know what the real reason was.
Well, I agree, it would look really weird without an open world.
I don't understand this comment.
N1cKyP4mH4zP0Pc0rnT0Eat not that hard to
understand tho
omg thank you so much for making these comparison videos!! haha makes it so much easier for me to choose either sims 3 or sims 4, idk why sims 4 has so much hate, judging by this video sims 4 looks like there a lot more to do and more details lol
One of the first time I'm not disappointed by the Sims 4!
In TS3 I once sent a sim out in to get groceries, forgot & found her happily chatting to a goup of sims behind the grocery store in the middle of a blizzard, it was hilarious but ridiculous.
sims 4 looks like it was made by people who have never seen snow irl
I love the christmas decorations in sims 4. I waited so long for them ^^
Actually Sims 4 winter is kinda good, it makes me wonder why they don't put this much efforts in things like occult sims (you only get mermaids, vampires and aliens) and the robots.
Not to forget that sims 3 actually has realistic snow depth & sims 4 lacks it completely!!
Love your vids ❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍😊😃😃😃 you do a great job doing this vids
Heyy, thank you! I'm glad you like them
Seasons is always my number 1 expansion no matter if it is TS2, 3 or 4! Even the Sims Vacation gives me the flavour of seasons, so I love it!
I love how in the sims 4 there skin just turned blue lol. 7:03
Omg the ice skating backflip!! I think that's paying tribute to an Olympic ice skater that always did backflips during her performances! I forgot her name but she's awesome for being able to do that
It’s a tie
Edit: I know it’s a bit late but I’m gonna get Seasons now!!!!
u know what is so awesome about the sims 2 seasons winter is that if it was snowing and it was like deep deep snow and it was a school there would be a notification up in the right corner and it would say it was a snow day and the kids/teens would stay home from school 😂🥰
Happens in 3 too. :)
That happens in 3 too
I wish that the cute lil penguin thing from sims 2 was in Sims 4!!

I'm glad you can understand them, English isn't my first language either and i'm actually trying to learn french, so yeah, small world lol
the snow looks so pretty in the sims 4! 😍
the snow depth is the only thing that kind of throws it off but overall, sims 4 seasons is actually pretty good with all the new things we never got before!
I love the sims 4 season is my favorite expansion
Also, OMG please do more, do spring, summer, and fall. I LOVE your videos :-).
Thanks, I'm glad you like them ,and that's the plan, Summer will be next
That was in a stuff pack
OK that penguin was ADORABLE. I want that penguin back :(
