Many people just don't realize how practical and capable this panda really is. The twinair 85hp engine is a gem, punchy and torquey, is very well balanced and keeps up even on autoroute at 130km/h in relative quietness. But in 4x4 Panda is not really economical. I daily a Panda 4x4 twinair after having many big suv s and this little one murders them in 99% of the time in real world use.
Sorry for my english, my 4x4 is a great car. It run's great at snow,i think it is a very good car. I have a 0,85 fiel Version , but i think, a Diesel Version is ...a little bit better.
@@welshman64 the standard 4x4 has the ELD button for locking as well. The Cross version is not worth the extra. Its looks a bit OTT in my opinion, a bit tacky with the fake looking cages which incidentally are not solid metal.
I think I would prefer the diesel version of the Fiat Panda 4x4. Although in a little over 7-8 years from now I strongly suspect that it will not be between petrol or diesel but rather between full electric or hydrogen fuel cell.
I wouldnt get the diesel, I had a new one, big mistake. Gearing is not suited for motorway, revs its nuts off at 70mph. Twinair engine is far quieter and more relaxing at speed. Ive had one of those in standard Panda form.
Diesel is more economical, better for road use if you do many miles, if you're thinking on going off road, petrol is better. If it's just unpaved roads Diesel is more than enough. Things a little bit more aggressive the diesel lacks torque at low revs ... 1st rule of Off-roading " As slow as you can, as fast as you need to.

Wrong the panda 4x4 did very well on the 4x4 test track so deserves more credit than this reviewer gives it.
A good review. Always liked these cars. Not sure how helpful the banner ad is to either you or your viewers is however.
We've edited that on our most recent uploads
It would be great if you could consider reviewing the Panda Cross and giving us your view between the two.
I had a fiat 🐼. Very cheap on fuel but cost a fortune on bamboo.😂
Good one
Great comprehensive review - thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Introduce a few better colours and seat coverings and they'll sell a lot more
The Cross 4x4 has hill descent mode above the standard 4x4 and that’s it. The rest is cosmetic.
It also 3cm higher and has a terrain control dial and a eld electric locking diff as well
@@welshman64 Climate Control too
The cross has 11mm more ground clearance than a panda 4x4.

RIVAL DACIA DUSTER??!!!! NO !!! But, little Panda is a very nice and practical car.
The banner that is constantly visible, in the lower portion of the screen, is extremely irritating
Apologies, we have updated our most recent reviews
@@CarandDrivingCarReviewsThey are great reviews though BTW.
@@CarandDrivingCarReviews is a very good review though 👍🏻
What a lot of road noise! That must be very annoying.
Twinair 4x4 should have automatic
Duster is not slightly bigger, it's significantly BIGGER 😂😂😂😂
Jeez, how much did Fiat pay you to say all that stuff in the first 30 seconds... 😬
