He must have been ripping it up around that bend for it to drive into the ditch, up the bank and then roll over.
Excursions are one of my favorite vehicles. Only way I’d be able to afford one is to get one with high miles. If I can get one that runs, I’d be able to rebuild it bit by bit
Colin's leg must be healing well, they way he climbed that dirt hill was impressive for someone who was gimping around on crutches not long ago.

Sad to see an Excursion wrecked, but glad to see it recovered with care. I would probably cry if I wrecked mine.

Lived in AZ for almost two years and was a new, faithful fan. Life happened and we have finally ended up back in Papua New Guinea as support missionaries. Found MORR in my RUclips feed recently and it has been great catching up. A small taste of something familiar back home. Thanks Matt and crew!
I know we sat it all the time, but it is truly refreshing to see you guys clean up a mess in nature. Way too many people visit places like these and leave trash everywhere! (Let alone cleaning up after a recovery)

Too bad about the old Excursion, our family had one with the V10 engine like the one in the video. We had to retire it due to rust.
That one will be totaled by the insurance company and will cost more than it is worth to repair. Maybe contact Robby Layton to see if it is salvageable.

I have been following Matt for a few years and love every video. My great great grand father Benjamin Brown provided the lumber to Ebenezer Bryce to build the boat church.

It's been a while since I've been to Pine Valley. Camped there in the winter once. Definitely a place that gets icy real quick. Excellent work on getting that Excursion upright and down the mountain.
Matt, you have a fantastic crew. A lot of youth there but they’re very capable of supporting the mission while you are incapacitated. You’ve taught them well but they’re willing to dig in.

Not going to lie, I'm impressed with every video on this channel, but seeing the team do a tough job like that with ease while missing the head coach is very impressive. I and most other people would be terrified to be in that situation, on top of a mountain in the cold with the sun going down. But the team made it look easy and made it back without a problem. Very impressive
You all make a great team. I think part of that is knowing how to keep your egos in check (or staying humble). I don't usually make comments like this but I tell you it's refreshing to see.

Every recovery mission with Matt's boys gives things a more enjoyable dimension with their wit and enthusiasm, not to mention their skills, they would make a formidable recovery team on their own.
Good show. To me the best part was seeing Collin going up the hill. Don't know if he has any more procedures or not, he is moving well. And of course Rhett is a great front man

OMG I was laughing at the end when Kaulin and Rhett were bickering at each other. My mind instantly reverted to my childhood when my mom would call me and my brothers, "The Bickersons" when we'd start doing that.😆

@@BitBuhkit I can identify with Matt in a lot of ways. If I were in charge of the job, things would go wrong the first time, the difference being I wouldn't know how to fix them. Jefe, on the other hand, knows exactly what he's doing and does it right.

The bolts on those Ford sway bars jump out on their own in my experience. That could have already been missing. Fun recovery guys, good job. You could tell the guy was bummed about his rig but happy he lived.

Great job, team! Really good to see the drone footage while it was still light. I'm surprised that the Excursion was able to drive out under it's own power.
Matt like a lot of others i'm glad to see that after your son's surgery on his leg it seems to have healed well and he's able to climb now like a mountain goat. As a father like you i can just imagine how relieved and happy i'm sure you are that he's doing so well now. Hope you and your family and friends continue to do well in the coming year and are able to keep on doing the work that you all do that helps so many people out both in your videos and in your community.

tbh jefe is the reason some of the previous employees left. he has a big ego and power trip issues, not a nice guy, complete opposite of what he attempts to portray in the videos

I don't see ego in Matt unless it's the confidence in doing things the wrong way. He's humble and admits it when he makes a mistake. But you're right, Jefe doesn't mind putting more effort in to get the job done the right way the first time.

@@JohnFL Matt is just driven and passionate, his problem is not being able to listen to his employees, and decipher between his nephew and the real problem. Before anyone says jefe is the reason the channel is where they are today is wrong. The Channel was already on its way to be super successful before Matt gave him a job.
Very nice work there you guys and Kaitlynn. Kahlin certainly didn't look like has any impediment with his leg now, the way he went up that bank. Very good to see. I had to keep my left knee straight for a year and a half after a fall when I was young. Fifteen years later, I had to have about half the cartilage removed, so he's doing very well. Thank you for another good video. Matt, I hope you're feeling better very soon.

Rhett is really good at everything and seems to stay calm very well. He also seems like a very good instinctive driver.
