I remember riding my ATV downhill on a fire road through deep packed snow in the high California mountains, it was fun until I hit the stream and discovered that my quad immediately dug in and sank in the deep snow when I needed power to climb out of the stream. It took me hours of winching it from tree to tree on the road bank to get out alive, I was all alone and could have easily died in the mountains that night. I learned to never ride downhill again in low traction conditions because you may never get back up out of it. Thank God for my Warn winch and some beers that got me through a terrible rainstorm and poor decision making that day.

Of course not, we think our big paperweights with normal 31" all terrain tires and full pressure and 4wd will do the trick everytime....and of course we dont bother buying any maxtrax or other useful recovery gear because those are only for the jeep people. Jokes aside, like Matt has said before, most of the people he deals with are tourists who have no clue of the dangers of the sands there.

In 2020 I seen one of Matts videos at Lone Rock Beach Lake Powell. I took my wife and we camped their for a week straight. It was amazing boating around Lone Rock and sleeping on the beach. I will never forget it. It makes me so sad it was the last time the water was high enough to boat around Lone Rock. We caught so many fish and had the time of our lives. A few crazy storms. It was such an adventure. God bless!!
Family that tows together, stays together. Love the content guys, thank you.
That turned out to be a busy Father's Day! But Matt and Paul couldn't just drive off and leave people stuck! Good job to Matt and Paul's families for 7 recoveries!
I love it when these guys get together to do recoveries. Those rigs sound amazing when they got the throttle hammered down.
Probably at least 700 HP each!
I'd like to see this every father's day. What an awesome gift.
Love that you stuck around and helped others! ♥️♥️♥️
Matt and Paul the intrepid unbeatable recovery duo. You made Father's Day very memorable for those folks you helped.
Nice way to help out people when in need, great job done and congrat's to all of your family, Happy Fathers Day indeed.
Such a treat seeing the two of y'all working well together to help folks.
Paul’s FJ has some serious nutz! Impressed as always gents.
Very cool helping others. We were out there with our 16 foot Toy hauler and launched a Raft with a 15 horse outboard 2 Summers ago and with the Heavy winds and Sand we will never go back again but also got stuck due to no 4 wheel drive cause a broken Transfer case. Good job Matt’s.
The most amazing part isnt the generosity of matt, it isnt the amount of recoveries, its that matt didnt rin out of gas!
That is an unbelievable amount of horsepower required to pull those campers out. You and Paul built some awesome rigs.
Wow! First to you guys and amazing assistance for the folks! 👍👍
2nd wow! To these stuck folks taking these huge rigs out to these areas with their families, completely solo and no one to help.... 👎
I LOVE that these guys are killing it with views. You ever notice how many views the channel gets compared to channel with 5x the subs. Matt's the best!
We love this Fab rats family and Matt's recovery teams doing all of those recovery's! Bless your hearts for helping all those people out of a bad situation! Well done team's!
wow..mad & paul the king of recovery, amazingly great 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Matt, you, your family and crew are all inspirations. Thank you all for the great videos.
Love the teamwork & willingness to keep looking for folks to assist!
That second recovery actually looked really cool with the two trucks backing up in different directions.
What a great video! Great to see you out there helping all those people, I wonder how they’d ever get out if you guys didn’t come along?!
Its funny to see these heavy trucks and trailers out in the soft sand. In spite of having an "off-road" super duty 4x4, I'm always terrified of getting it and my trailer stuck. I have no desire to pay Matt to drive all the way to Tooele County to get me unstuck.
Man, I love seeing Fab Rats and MORR teaming up! I hope I get to meet you guys someday. I was thinking maybe heading your way this summer, but the cost of fuel is more than I can afford right now.
"the right and polite thing to do". You the man. I hope the reaction of the later recoveries was "crap, Im stuck......what, is that........MORR driving up with out me calling???" I mean, thats way better then hitting a huge lottery if you were stuck at Powell.
I can't believe how happy you guys always are🙏💯
Just keep in mind that although they're nice people, this channel reflects just a tiny, heavily edited portion of their lives.
My favorite RUclips channel at the moment. Y’all are some kind humans and I hope nothing but the best for y’all
Always great to see Fabrats and MORR join forces! You guys rock, so many awesome recoveries.
It’s bad when it’s hotter in the south than the desert right now. Also, do these big 2500s with huge campers not expect to get stuck in sand?
Nobody ever said Americans were smart ;)
Of course not, we think our big paperweights with normal 31" all terrain tires and full pressure and 4wd will do the trick everytime....and of course we dont bother buying any maxtrax or other useful recovery gear because those are only for the jeep people.
Jokes aside, like Matt has said before, most of the people he deals with are tourists who have no clue of the dangers of the sands there.
Normal sand, they're mostly going to be okay. This smooth grain sand is not normal to most places on the NA continent.
Hey bud I think that's so cool how you help people like that just that a goodness of your heart cuz some people really can't afford to be pulled out but that is so cool you did that for him God's going to smile down on you God bless you have a blessed day
Good Morning Matt and Paul and y'all.
And it looks like Y'all had some fun there and it is Awesome what y'all did and a Awesome job
It is amazing , I just noticed your over 1M subs. Just think it was just a couple of years agoyou were complaining
about you lack of camera memory and it was a lot of work to film. Looks like you have figured a formula for
success not only in off road recovery but also in making videos. Congradulations Matt , congrats to you , the crew
and the family.
While everything is going wrong in every which ways, all of you giving ppl loves and smiles 😃 I got the kick out of the way you pull them vehicles 🚗 up and out, and the young man 👨 (didn’t get his name, I got utterly excited while watching) you all that baby, your personality and you are real.
The world needs (all) you in it, pls stay safe stay healthy and GOD BLESS.
This is one of your best videos ever, really helped a ton of people
This is one of the best videos in the last several months. Loved it Matt! Always love how you get in some quick personal wheeling after work stuff done. Keep em coming!
Can’t believe the boys were able to get that Corvette out
Nice recovery
Could you please do a video of what to do to check if an area is safe so people don't get stuck? With the receding water of Lakes Powell and Mead, you probably have more business than you can handle and possibly need to expand.
I guess when the water is gone, the people will leave the area. Problem solved.
I’m just thinking out loud here, but maybe don’t drag your big a$$ camper downhill through the sand…
@@PS-rr2jt People are getting stuck in small SUVs as well.
not only helped recover people ... but you also gave your equiptment away so others could benefit
wish more people would "pay it forward" like y'all do everyday
That was impressive guys, great job on Fathers days, you made a lot of dads happy today! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
I'm enjoyinng these recoveries...awesome stuff to see how easy you guys make it. Okay the truck with the trailer house was a bit tough. That is some pulling power you guys have with them customized pulling vehicles.
Having grown up in the Mojave Desert, I'm very familiar with my getting stuck in sand. I really appreciate what these guys are doing. Good job guys!
Same story here! Agree 100%.
