Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery! - Авто/Мото
Can we just stop and give Lizzy props for going into that truck both times. She has fear but still does it.
Lizzy Iron Woman!
That is the definition of courage, being afraid and still doing it.
My favourite stunt girl!
The little “yeesh” Lizzie utters when Matt asks her to get in the truck is classic. Yet she still just jumps into that truck.
Probably no more exciting that riding a horse in rough terrain around prairie dog holes, lol...
When that guy said he had gas I figured he brought it for matt because he's always out of gas😂
That's what I thought too 😂😂
Me 3!
I looked for this comment before I made my own. After all, he seemed to emphasize that they had the keys for the truck, indicating he has watched the channel.
You can tell he watches the channel he knew of all there quirks of morr !
me 4 !!!!! 😊.. i thot he was teasing MATT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT MINDS .......😅
Lizzy has more guts, courage and tenacity than most people I have ever met.
Most people would NOT want to drive that truck down such a steep slope.
Matt should have went in that truck not Lizzie!
Lizzy has such a great attitude and personality!!
She had security ropes supporting her. It wasn't that big of a deal.
Facts.
That's just a daddy's girl she learned the ways of the craft and has full trust in her crew and it's awesome to see
Great job on the recovery. One thing I noticed is everyone got tunnel vision on getting the truck out of the situation and seemed to put safety aside. Not intentionally. NO seat belt for Lizzy, even as the truck was not in danger of rolling and was pointing down hill. All it would take is the rope unspooling or breaking and away she goes out of control on a steep loose hill with no power steering and weak breaks, hit a rut or rock , she bounces out of the seat hits her head on something, or worse she the truck rolls she get ejected. LIGHTS OUT
I felt the same way. That was a VERY sketchy recovery with no safety margin.
If Matt asked me to get in that truck with the anchor vehicles sliding like that, I would have said "no, we need a bigger vehicle".
The worst part is it all worked out, so its human nature to use that to justify the risky choices. It could have just as easily not worked out.
The trust Lizzy has in Matt and the equipment is incredible.
@@mokumizu4318 um..
It's risky and disheartening.
I don’t think it’s trust, Lizzy just has a supernatural perception of centres of gravity and a keen awareness of tipping points. That aside, trust in others only gets you so far, trust in yourself gets it done
@@cuneverwell I mean she rides horses so she's probably good with the whole center of gravity thing
foolish
I don't think there are enough victory pies in the world to reward Lizzy for being in that car let alone driving it down! Well done LIzzy.
Lizzie rocks! 😎👍
they're making easyyyyy money
Lizzy is so dumb
I have always had respect for Lizzy since she was introduced on the channel. She has always jumped in and learned / done what was needed. Getting into that truck and wrangling it down that mountainside was a very courageous thing to do. Courage is not a lack of fear, it is proceeding in spite of fear. Way to go team MORR and Lizzy!!
My palms are still sweating after watching that one. Lizzy never ceases to amaze me, but this recovery is on a whole other level. She's definitely one gutsy little rock star!
Scary for Lizzy too, knees probably weak! And with no power steering, arms are heavy! Looked like a rocky/bumpy ride as well, lucky there is no vomit on her sweater!
Lizzy's a badass. I don't think the channel would be the same without her. Ed is also a great addition to the channel. I hope he's doing well.
ed was on a few videos back without the neck brace so hes's back in action!
Lizzy is a hot gal. We all want to marry a girl like Lizzy!
Ed only rocks the neck brace when he’s bouncing around enjoying the day rock crawling! 💪
@@23ofSeptember No offense but I doubt she would marry you. She looks to me like she is more into girls than boys, and that's just perfect!
@@JP-xd6fm Thats fine with me. I still like watching the channel.
As usual, Lizzy showing she's the bravest one on the crew (or the craziest 😂).
..or unconscious. Little bit like the 19young guy with his father in the Titan uboat..
He did it, against his feeling.
But finally, Matt is the Master and He would never get Lizzy in trouble! ...hope so..😨😨😰
Don’t understand why she’s not wearing a seatbelt
If something starts to go sideways so she can bail out. It’s quicker to bail then ride it out
@@Farmnflyin Only IF you don't get hung up on something.
@@danjones1365 probably locked due to the angle
So, Lizzy was braver than all the men there j/k... mad props Lizzy!
Actually, props to the entire crew for getting the job done as safely and quickly as they could, you guys rock!
Lizzy is such an amazing part of this channel. She is always game to jump in there. A true badass! How in the heck did that truck not roll? That is insane! Holy hell. This made me hold my breath and pray.
Lizzy has so much faith in Matt, but she still deserves a raise. Lizzy you are amazing!!
Lizzy deserves a steak-and-lobster dinner and a medal for bravery for that! Wowser! It's so much fun to watch a team like this that really knows how to work together and trust each other.
Lizzy’s safety deserves a little more consideration. Matt won’t be happy until he kills her. All for the sake of “likes” $
If lizzy’s husband cares for her at all, he would be a man, and do something about Matt risking his wife for stupidity.
@@Alsintheshop That's really harsh. I do not for a minute believe that that's who Matt is.
@@Alsintheshop You realize thats their job, youtube or not right?
@@AlsintheshopI take it you don't actually know much about their line of work. The recovery industry is an extremely dangerous job especially when they are on any fast pase moving road.
@@HarryS8311this is very slow paced, I think
Constant communication and rolling with the punches. Way to go. And, great work, Lizzy.
Lizzy is brave! I didn’t realize it until after she got down the hill my heart rate was up just watching how steep that was. Awesome job!
Lizzie earns my respect once more. That steep, no power steering, dwindling vacuum in the power brakes... and she was laughing at the end.
She's a cowgirl, after all; prolly has a pocketknife with 2 blades, like any stock handler...17 kinds of guts, the girl has!
That laugh was the fear and anxiety coming out.
Dwindling?? Naw, that was LONG gone!! That was all Leg Power brakes.
simp beta
These f150s have some kind of electric auxiliary power unit if the truck was on it helps with the brakes. If I have less than 50 miles left on a tank I have to roll it down my driveway which is why I know.
We can safely say Lizzy was the MVP of this recovery! The others did great work, but Lizzy deserves the praise. That pickup was in a dangerous position & Lizzy saved the day!
"Hey, uh, Lizzy you go get in the truck!" - all the burly tough guys
Good job Lizzy! You weren't so much sitting in the seat, as standing on the firewall!
You guys owe Lizzy a big surprise for her excellent handling of that truck going down the hill. The ride surpasses any "E" ride at Disneyland. She can definitely hold "her MUD" in those tough calls. Great job by all,
At least buy her a nice cold icecream on the way home! 😎👍
Hats off to Lizzy, fearless, lioness ❤
I will tell him 'I quit' instead.
I never thought I would be so entertained watching recoveries. Over the last year or so I have really enjoyed your channel, the entire crew is fantastic, appreciative & amazed at the lack of cursing, and I agree with everyone else....Lizzie was a rockstar in this recovery!
Lizzie is charming to me, like a perfect tomboy. Also, she's a great part of Matt's success. Best wishes to all.
That Is the first time I ever saw Lizzy show any concern for the situation. I don't know if I should be disappointed that something could make her nervous or relieved that she does have sense of self preservation. Either way, a rock star.
DANG!!!! Matt was there and it started rollin' and he was gone. Never seen him many times move so fas🛻🛻🛻. What ya'll say? 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
If ever there was a time for hey to put on a seat belt this would have been it. However, with the angle, seat belt was probably locked up and could not have been put on.
@@Kevin-go2dwI think only inertia locks belt not gravity
Great recovery! I found Tom's expressed concern for Lizzy touching. Matt was worried too but he does his best to give direction to keep her safe. I think it shows his confidence in Lizzy that he puts her in the sketchy situations knowing she's capable of pulling it off. Kudos to the whole team cuz filming that takes guts too!
Putting a team member in a sketchy situation should never even be an option. This is only a recovery. Admitting that you can't do it safely HAS to be the only option.
@@stefan514it was a very controlled descent, it may have been steep but there were multiple safety lines on the truck and it never out of control, it was lowered very slowly and controlled.
Stuff like this is the whole reason in calling a recovery company. Because they have the experience and know-how and proper equipment to do it safely.
@@awdeveaucontrolled? The two vehicles pulling on the downhill vehicle could just as easily gone over the edge
@@dsudikoff the two anchor vehicles were never going to be pulled over the edge while lowering the truck. Trying to pull the truck that had wheels buried up and over the ledge vs a controlled descent is two completely different things. Pulling it through the side of the mountain was a lot more weight than just the truck, letting the truck slowly roll with brakes applied and two anchor vehicles was perfectly safe.
This is a great channel, full of fun and funny jokes, but when the recovery starts Matt and crew are all serious...no MORR joking around!!
Lizzie freaking rocks! There’s no way you’d convince me to get in that F150 and pull those shenanigans. Not even a chance. This is definitely a top ten recovery.
Another impressive recovery by Matt and his crew.
I think next time, one you big brave men should be the sacraficial lamb.......lizzy is very brave and trusting of your skills matt....
Lizzy, you rock! You persevere in the face of fear. My hat is off to you! Another recovery job well done by Matt's Off Road Recovery! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next...
That was insane! I'm so glad that there are people like you doing recovery work.
What a great rescue! I was on the edge of my seat - many years ago I was in a similar situation outside Barstow, but wasn't so successful. Rolled my '73 Wagoneer end-over-end and totaled it. The vid brought back a lot of memories! You all be careful out there and keep up the great work!
Huge respect to Lizzie 👏👍
Ok Matt, Lizzy deserves a raise for this wild ride recovery!!
I wantta ride it !!!!!!!
I SWEAR 2 U THAT U HVE not SEEN LIZZIES wildest RIDE !!!!!!!!
Why not Tom Tom I think he should ride it down
Lizzy deserves hazard pay!
Or a vehicle. What happened to her offroader??
Lizzy you’re amazing. That would have to have been the craziest “recovery” that you’ve participated. The wow factor was off the charts.
That was one of you’re craziest recoveries ever, great job all, Lizzy has so much self control keeping calm and trusting the crew she works with.
Lizzy is more of a brave man than many grown men that I know. Sometimes bravery borders on stupidity (like Matt digging out that front corner downhill of the truck). But Lizzy powered through it. It seems that if they need Lizzy for a job now, it's going to be a crazy one.
Brave girl. Well done, Lizzy!
I would be so proud of that young lady.
Huge props!
Lizzy with nerves of steel
Jake - what a climb/run! I am so happy that you did not get hurt chacing that truck down the mountain
I like Jake! He's always so happy to be along with the crew 😃
I agree, but where is Eric ????
That's an amazing rescue. In the beginning I was thinking to use both your vehicles together. As it turned out that Ford was on such an angle there was no way it would come back uphill. You people did an amazing job.
Thelma and Louise is a cultural landmark. Thelma & Louise is an American film from 1991 which was directed by Ridley Scott and written by Callie Khouri. The film has elements of multiple genres and has been described as a drama, adventure or road movie with elements of a romantic comedy.
Lizzie needs a medal. What kind I don’t know but she is one brave young lady. Your husband is one lucky guy.
Lizzy is made of steel! I was scared for her! God Bless.
How that truck didn't roll or pop any tires off the bead is just insane. Great recovery too! Good thing they called the Matt's crew or it could have gone badly real quick.
Or down hill real quick. 🤣
@@Kevin-go2dw Lol literally!
Matt must be so proud. Lizzy has guts for sure. Pretty scary recovery.
you could've used the rebar anchor trick -- hammer 1 or more 5 ft rebar deep into the ground , attach the rigs to that -- and then winch
🎉🎉 all congrats to Lizzy 😅😅😅, 😊 well done Girl
That was a really intense recovery! Great job Lizzy for braving it out and getting the truck down!!
I've been reading the previous comments and I think it's unanimous. Lizzy rocks!
Lizzy did an amazing job! Especially with NO power steering and NO power brakes!
Death Wobble in my cherokee was ALWAYS the trac bar or a loose trac bar mount. Tighten them, or change it from rubber busings to greasable heims! If you tighten them and it loosens again then you have a binding issue or junky rubber busshings.
Same for me always seems to be trac bar bushings
Yeah, most of the time you can fix it by correcting the track bar angle and steering angle but greasable heims definitely help a bunch too
Anxious for Matt's take on death wobble.
"Cause that's how weather works" love it.
Another impressive recovery by Matt and his crew.. The trust Lizzy has in Matt and the equipment is incredible..
You have built 1 of the greatest teams of all ever
Always a blast watching
your work
Mechanics might be #1
But I think it's the fantastic personalities that make your channel what it is
Congratulations on everything that's goes into all you do and
THANKS FOR SHARING !!!!
Tom's dry sense of humour. Love it.
Lizzy is a brave!
Also, y’all are the dopest and most wholesome “family” on RUclips! Love watching your team! And way to go Lizzy! You killed it girl!
You guys are real pro at this and you have to admire Lizzie for being in that truck and remaining so cool. She is one amazing lady.
As pretty much everyone else here says, Lizzy for the win! Once it was pointed down the hill I wasn't too worried, but she wasn't kidding when she said you could give it a little push while it was still parallel to the road and that sucker would have flipped itself at least 20 times before coming to a stop. Definitely one of MORR's scariest videos - the other being when the wrecker's throttle cable got stuck.
Lizzie is a real heroine!
Been binging these videos. It’s extremely satisfying seeing a man become successful on something he loves to do. You deserve it Matt
Wooo Lizzie! Didn’t they say that wasn’t a 4x4 truck? Even more impressive Lizzie!!! My stress and anxiety was sky high for you the whole time!
Matt yelling to Lizzy down the hill while he has a radio in his front pocket is cracking me up a bit! 😂 That was a crazy recovery! Great job! 👍😊
Lizzy is the boss at the end of a video game, for sure! Nerves of steel!
It's not a video game.... silly people.

Go Lizzie! 🤠. Give that girl a raise....
Lake Havasu 🌞 Az
I have been wondering why no company sells and nobody uses Capstan Winches anymore. It would be the ideal tool for this recovery.
Old Landrovers used to have them built into the front bumper that ran off of a Power Take Off from the engine. The beauty of a capstan winch is that it has no limit to the amount of rope that can be used. The Extended Winch Line sold by Yankum or other companies can be attached to each other indefinitely, or use a 500 ft spool of rope.
I have a portable one😁
Lower load rating?
Exactly how often has the winch length been an issue to Matt? He normally has at least 2 kenetic ropes (not idea) to extend reach if needed. As well as static straps/tree savers/bridle.. so not really important often.
Under these conditions. Would a block, chained to his frame (like some older tow trucks used to anchor) have helped?
Well done Lizzy you are fearless I could tell you were cautious but you got the job done.
I will say that would be a fun ride for sure. 😊
we were hoping that matt would have had lizzy put on the seat belt just in case it went sailing down that hill uncontrolled ,but it didn't happen, safety first , glad she is safe and sound.
At what point can you actually say that “ this job isn’t enough for the wrecker . If I had that thing I’d be driving it to get the mail out at the end of the driveway 😂
All of you guys are so cool. You guys are your own reality show complete with cast of characters. Proof in the pudding. Great job TEAM.
Well done Lizzy. Well done
I have never seen your channel before, but you all seem to have this easy-going family vibe.
Crazy Recovery and Bravery Lizzie!! Matt always calm in the face of danger,… apparently!
Lizzie has the skills and know how to help pull off some of the recoveries that look impossible. She has a can do spirit that has no equal though there is a high danger level.
Hats off to you girl. Awesome job climbing in and out with the incline .Great job Lizzie
Wow, I'm glad she is a strong lady. Matt, you have some good people.
5:50 "looks like it went ... *hind* tire right here..." Awesome cowgirl term... I'm going to use that from now on.
The angle finder on the phone appears to sho 0° if the vehicle is laying on its side, and 90• if flat on all four. So Matt's Matt's guess of 33° was really close to the 25° off of 90°.
Where did the "w" go from show?
Good reply. I knew there was no way it was past a 45 deg angle
I noticed that too, the phone angle finders can give a misleading number. You'll have a very difficult time walking beyond 45°
60 makes a better story line
@@gringolatino97 Does the position of the phone make a difference? Whether standing or horizontal?
A Big YEEHAW 🤠 for Lizzy. You go girl!!!!! That was quit a white knuckle recovery. Thank goodness the truck’s brakes worked, and I don’t remember the last time I had a Big Hunk 🤣😂🤣
That poor truck is living a hard life 😅
Lizzy deserves a medal. She is a beast.
Great job Lizzy that was scary
That was the best recovery that I have seen y’all do. Great job to all the team.
Top 10 but definitely not the best, imo
Watching this made me think about how fun it would be to have a v.r. game where you could do vehicle recoveries like this!
An ASV Skid steer might come in handy for these type of recoveries. Tank Treads that won't come off easy, plenty of pulling power, bucket to dig tires out / improve roads / hooks on bucket for chains/lines, forks to lift trucks/trailers up for tire fixes. A Menzi Muck might also be in your future.
Lizzy did a great job.
OMG, that girl has so much trust in you!!!!
So glad you saved the Jeep (Banana)! It's absolutely iconic and I love seeing it!
hey Matt, love your channel, I am the owner of Jims power steering in Akron ohio, I have solved more death wobble problems than I can remember, yes make shure nothing is loose, but the cure is more caster angle, 6 degrees if you can get it, if there is no adjustment you just have to egg out the bushing bolt holes rotate that front axle as far back on the top as you can, as far to the front on bottom, then set the toe, hope this helps
There is just no way that truck should have stayed there and NOT rolled.
Good job to you and your crew.
Lizzy gets the most interesting jobs,I recall her being dragged out, behind the wheel on a striped car for several miles coverd in dust 😆
Lizzy you are tops for that. I know your heart was beating out your chest but you showed no fear. 60 degree slope was amazing recovery
Dude lizzy is awesome brave as hell. Great job everyone 🎉
at 1.20 when Tom said the gauge doesnt work just got me laughing loudly in my apartment, great stuff guys! :D
Now that's a classic "Matt's off road Recovery " Lizzy is a brave young women. Awesome Team Effort.
Lizzy is the gutsiest person on the planet.
That there was a dog gone nail biter, fursure. Nice job!😊
You guys need to invest in some stop blocks (like on heavy wreckers) on straps similar to another 4x4 recovery group who use jeeps. You get the block infront of the wheels strap to the bumper and then move forward until the straps are tight and the tyres push the blocks into the ground.
Always glad to see another Matt's video in my morning feed!!!! Happy July 4th to all and bet this is just another busy weekend for the recovery crew, hoping it is quite for your guys.
