Reminds me of CoD BO3's campaign actually, though i'm probably one of the only people alive that remembers it. There were a whole bunch of perks and cybernetic upgrades and stuff like that, even cool things like firing a swarm of nanorobot bees out of your hands bioshock style or blasting enemies with loud infrasounds to the point they vomited, but they were all gimmicks used on cannon fodder enemies which only survived a bullet or two.
Someone didn't level or buy the augmentations to make quick hacks deadly. He's so wrong about most of the gameplay elements. You can kill whole crowds of enemies a lot faster than guns. Vulnerability daemon stealth and toxin. Subliminal message, contagion kills entire corridors and encampments of high level enemies. So again he's just wrong as fuck. And probably only did the easy af main story.

Fairest review I've seen based on my experience with the game. Totally agree with the hacking just feeling useless, AI being a bit shit and the gun play being clunky, but the world, main story and aesthetic being pretty awesome.
A big issue I have with games and their companies is that they announce that they are creating something WAY too early. I hate hearing about a game then waiting years for its' actual release. Lets try developing a game to near completion and pouring all of that advertisement budget into a couple months of a powerful advertisement campaign before releasing it. Try making a game without he pressure of hundreds of thousands of people waiting for it, I'm sure that makes a big difference in choices made during the developing process.

Tbh people wouldn’t be as mad about the entire game itself if the community didn’t completely overhype it, saying it’s gonna be the best game ever.
@@Atamask 15h of what story missions rushed, do storylines that affect main story like quests with panam, judy, river, i am not even gonna mention silverhand storyline. You got yourself 40 hours if you play them quite fast. Throw some gigs into the mix and a bit of fucking around and you got yourself 60 hours of gameplay. Enjoyable for me at least
This. I had no hype for the game and I had a fuckton of fun with it, almost 100%ed it
@drew scrivers yeah talking sense doesn't work when the other people are yelling "baa"
@@Atamask CDPR promised so many things:
1000 unique npc daily routines, gang interaction, decisions and consequences,...
I was really hyped for the game, but most disappointed in missing features they promised.
this is what happens when they give devs unrealistic deadlines, which is like almost every game company now
8 years isnt really an unrealistic deadline, that was a whole generation of consoles man.
It's definitely poor management and shareholders pressuring the devs.
The game was first teased in January of 2013... THEY HAD OVER SEVEN YEARS.
Yo they worked on this game for almost a decade and delayed it three times. They could have delayed it another year and finished it.
@@hajile404 youre all wrong, it was announced in 2012, production started in 2016 with 50 people lmao
from wiki
"Cyberpunk 2077 entered pre-production with approximately fifty staff members after developer CD Projekt Red finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine in 2016. The team was expanded over time, surpassing the size of the team for 2015's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. After the release of The Wild Hunt, the team began to upgrade it's REDengine 3 for Cyberpunk 2077. In March 2018, a new studio opened in Wrocław to aid the production."
I can't wait to buy this game when its fixed and 50% off.
Yup basically this. Not worth $60 even in a fixed state.
@@user-vf3cb7vk8z What game is worth $60 if this one isnt? Im 50 hours in and havent completed the main story yet, theres loads and loads of content to play through, if this isnt worth $60, no game is, tbh.
@@butterdog29 yah, even though Doom eternal was rated so highly, I waited till it was down to $20 to buy it, only reason I got cyberpunk was cause I had steam credit that would cover over 90% of it
@@user-vf3cb7vk8z so what game is worth 60 dollars? Cuz this one has at least 100 hours worth of gameplay and replayability plus on pc there will be mods. So if this isn't worth 60 then what would be?
@@Mustafa-ql9te i mean to each there own i wouldnt want to pay full price either but I guess the question is not what you actually pay but more of if its not worth it and it has this much content then what game is worth that much
The curving bullet thing is actually a gameplay mechanic. Some guns do that
Also net runners can kill you if they see you on a camera and hack your ass! Hacking goes both ways choom
Tech weapons can also shoot through walls and net runners not only see you through security cameras, but any computer webcams in the area
@@uziman477 that's a nice effect ngl.
@@uziman477 Dude I realized the tech weapons shot through walls near the final story mission.
@@JustFeral my build was melee katana till I got overwatch, now I do 45k headshot damage through walls with mantis blades as backup, spicy as shit
ALSO overwatched is silent, so wallbanging silent build ftw
Basically how I felt about the game. Good story and decent gameplay and the optimization and glitches are the biggest problem.
And the false advertising and amount of cut content and features
@@SoAaron_ on marketing and higher ups, not devs
The thing is, the Witcher 3 and rdr2 are both good and held up as being paragons of the genre but they had their own fair share of bugs or glitchy moments.
@@milkman-30 say it again after 1-2 years if those things are still not there
@@kalpeshbhoir7372 Glitches are less, quality of life improvements, being able to change appearance, performance improvements. The game has gotten much better better since it released and I think is a solid experience.

One day.....but not today. 😎
But will he ever say "What's up everybody, it's Critical" again?
