Unfortunately cdpr confirmed no plans for that :(. I would love one. It would make no sense lore wise but I want one so bad. Lowkey a second dlc or dlc spinoff with np+ where you keep all the baddass and memories but right before the heist and a shorter different story.

@ starfield has an incredible ng+ system that doesn’t just fit into the lore and makes sense but expands it. Like a ng+ run is required at least the first bit for the story to really click. And yeah you’re right it usually doesn’t make sense lore wise

I played 30 hours at launch, and moved on. Frustrated with what could have been. I have been building up the courage to play it again properly, and I just think to myself... keep waiting!
@OTH89 i finally gave it a go a couple of months ago and was really hooked from start to finish. i find it hard to finish games nowadays bc most games fail to keep the momentum going from start to finish but yeah, not the case with 2077. i would say, now is the time.
@@OTH89 it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. The DLC version that’s out now is a must play for pretty much any gamer, still liked it after early patches but now it’s objectively one of the best single player games ever.

I got a series X a little over two years ago, and the game was awesome the first time I played it. All the updates they've came out with since I started playing keep me coming back. I'm on like my 5th playthrough now. Such a good game. Not perfect, but no game is imo.

Unless you play on consoles, There's mods that make driving more easier, also a flashlight mod as well that allows you to control the brightness and depth field
We need a new game plus AND a third person mode much like how they did in Resident Evil Village. You can turn third person mode on whenever you like to walk around Night City then go to FPS mode whenever you fight and during cutscenes.
This game needed more side activities; like games, actual club activies more clubs in general with actual souls and interactions with npc, movies or some kind of futuristic booths/dining area like in deus ex and bladerunner, more animations like basic things like drinking, smoking, a proper phone you pull out and view, eating items, stupid stuff like that. Also the basic ability to talk to any npc you see or have some form of dialogue with them. They should have honestly used Deus Ex Human Revolution as a base and built massively upon it but they released a pile of slop and got a huge name to market it and hoped for the best which sucks because the map is kind of cool from what i remember. Also very dumb how there wasnt more properties, customization for propertiers, vehicles, and also no real quests for different groups or factions
No cut scenes showing your character either and no good clothing designs yet so many clothes, and the cyberware is lackluster it doesn't really change your appearance at all besides minor changes to the arms
@JusGame1995 Yep I agree which is very sad I love neuromancer and the whole cyberpunk genre as a whole. I try to enjoy Cyberpunk but everytime I play it all I can think about is the lack of clothing, lack of interaction with NPC and lack of good side activities and actual faction quests. Weirdly enough Deus Ex Human Revolution felt more alive in every way simply because they gave the people in that game good dialogue for the most part and the side quests are actually kind of interesting, and weirdly enough the cyberware is slightly cooler just without changing your looks
@kotorandcorvid4968 It most definitely does have more stuff in it lmao, its no about "nostalgia goggles" the fact is that there's clubs, dancing, girlfriends, street racing, gaming, stealth mechanics/shadow mechanics, ability to workout lose and gain muscle, ability to lose and gain weight, 3 different cities, 3 different biomes, 3 different types of major weather conditions in each city, different clothing at each store, car customization, ability to own tons of different properties, ability to do gang wars and travel with your gang members, ability to go in restaurants and eat and also food carts with an eating animation, and I'm sure there's more. Cyberpunk has like 2 or 3 clubs that you can't do anything in, no drinking animations, no animations for anything for that matter besides pulling out guns and equipping like the 2 or 3 arm augmentation, from what I remember there is no ability to customize your cars and change stuff on them besides now paintjobs I guess, there is different clothes at each store but only 1 city and nearly 90%* of the clothes are garbage that looks like it was designed by a Ubisoft team from San Francisco, in Deus Ex Human Revolution there is better augmentation, more augmentation that do more things, more interaction with npc, a more lively and immersing environment and way better story. Fallout 4 for apocalypse games is like what Cyberpunk is for neuromancer type of games

I never stopped liking it. Even At its Crappier PS4 version I enjoyed it, I was just Disappointed it got messed up so bad. I'm more than happy to see it making a comeback though.
I waited till that there was enough bug fixes where it wouldn’t crash every five minutes then I got back into the game. I wanted to wait till it was fixed and stable because back then my save got corrupted due to the crashing now since they’ve got it fixed it’s one of my favorite games top five besides red dead and the GTA series
I love this game, the one feature I'm still annoyed they took out, was 3rd person, being able to see all the cool outfits you and gear you get would have been so good.

Even though CDPR barely spends any time on the game anymore it's good that they found a subcontractor that could add a few more features and assets. The update is massive for those who use photo mode.

They would have to make animations for the way your character shoots, jumps, uses cyberware, etc it's not something they will ever add because it is not a small addition
3rd person requires creating a whole new set of animations, and take ages even on a basic level. Modern 3rd person games tend to rely on mocap would take even longer to add. If cdpr just added a player head and kept the current animations it would look awful
3:38 - Don't get me wrong, I love this game but this is exactly my issue with Cyberpunk. Yes, you can make your V *look* like a member of the Mox but you actually can't be a member of the Mox. And this goes for every gang in Night City. I wish this game allowed for more roleplaying like that.

Yeah, it's a lot of "style" but no substance. You can't actually interact with the game world for what it is. You can only get dragged along by V's story
I just wanted to be able to have more than one respec for skill points per character bc I wanna use a netrunner build on this one save I have but I accidentally respec’d earlier in the game without realising the consequences
Skills can be respec'd freely, unless you're talking about attributes. if thats the case, you could use the console command mod, which i believe has commands to reduce or increase your attribute stats i could be wrong though.
The photomode drone is such a game changers for taking shots now. No longer having that annoying invisible wall stop you. I wish they add cyber arms and gloves and such.
Im only interested in world interactivity and new quests/events. Like the monorail is cool, seeing Johnny more is cool, but character creation, car customisation, and photo mode does not interest me.
Agreed. It's honestly annoyingly stupid how they put so much effort into tiny details for character customization in a first person only game. What a waste. The majority do not use photo mode. Making the game first person only and then going crazy with the character customization just seems like incompetent game design. Doubling down on it over the years just shows they have no idea what players actual want out of the game.

The irony is off the charts when an in depth Vehicle Customization makes much better sense than your own character customization purely because of the single fact that you can at least admire your full customized Vehicle from your perspective AND it got its own 3rd person view camera to appreciate it even further. Where as the surprisingly not so bad in depth character customization means jack shit when you can't even see yourself beside looking at your fancy looking nails and mess around in photo mode. It's kinda why i stopped bother customizing my V because what's the point ?
Indeed. That they keep adding to character customization is puzzling. What's the point of putting time and money adding to the character customization option?? It gets wasted due to a core feature like actually seeing your damn character in game not even being implemented.

Its the same as IRL, i know what ill put on, i know ill look good, i don't need to have a mirror in front of me 24/7 so i can admire myself and my cool outfits ive put togehter, theres enough scenarious throughout the day where ill see it, in reflections, sometimes in mirrors or by getting compliments from other ppl. I rather had an input in getting compliments from your surroudings instead of seeing my character all the time. Its cool yeah, but not necessary. Its easier for me to blend into the world by playing 1st Person, its the same when im driving cars btw. I rather have the feeling that I am V, instead of Playing V.

In the patch notes, it said there were more secrets to be found in the world. That'd be my favorite thing to explore. After you beat all the quests, there's a drop in content.
Oh no another dolt complaining about third person, god forbid they add more content on a game they said they were finished with. The fact is there is still photo mode, third person driving and mirrors, for a first person game there are still plenty of options to view your clothes and look. People do all that to either fit in or attract a potential partner. So, in a single player game where no one can see you and you can't even see your own character, why bother? omg the randomiser having a lock function is soo revolutionary. It's as revolutionary as Prince of Persia The Lost Crown adding screenshots to places you marked on the map. Amazing job as always CDPR.

Playing it now on steam deck after finishing it back on its release date. The difference is amazing. I never missed those bulletsponge fights. Plus, melee build has seen so much upgrades.
I am constantly customizing my V and I've been wanting car customization so this is awesome! Scanning another car's paintstyle and copying it to yours is the perfect idea.

i love the customisation but they need to add the option to toggle 1st and 3rd person, you basically only see your own face in the game when in a mirror or on a bike
They'd have to make animations for everything from the crouching to the shooting and reloading to using cyberware and jumping and climbing I don't think it will ever be added

Higher FoV hurts performance as there is more shown on the screen. It probably tanks performance on console. Particularly with their low memory bandwidth.
@@mduckernz seems to work fine on even shitty PCs with worse specs than the consoles. Just let us take the hit to performance, all other FPS games do it. It's an accessibility feature - I get physically nauseous within minutes of playing on a low FOV
Now if only they add 3rd person mode back in it would be a 10/10. All these customizations don't mean much if we can't see our character. That arbitrary decision to stick with first person mode is a complete nonsense. At least give us both options.

Either they have plans to add a third person mode in the future or they're extremely out of touch with how players actually interpret their game. There’s one thing I’m waiting for from an update, I wish the Devs would add a customization option that’d give you cyber limbs like johnnys arm or something, probably difficult with the arm weaponry customization options like mantis blades or monowires but it’d still be awesome to be able to have that as an option

Cyberpunk has like 2 or 3 clubs that you can't do anything in, no drinking animations, no animations for anything for that matter besides pulling out guns and equipping like the 2 or 3 arm augmentation, from what I remember there is no ability to customize your cars and change stuff on them besides now paintjobs I guess, there is different clothes at each store but only 1 city and nearly 90%* of the clothes are garbage that looks like it was designed by a Ubisoft team from San Francisco, in Deus Ex Human Revolution there is better augmentation, more augmentation that do more things, more interaction with npc, a more lively and immersing environment and way better story. Fallout 4 for apocalypse games is like what Cyberpunk is for neuromancer type of games

I waited till that there was enough bug fixes where it wouldn’t crash every five minutes then I got back into the game. I wanted to wait till it was fixed and stable because back then my save got corrupted due to the crashing now since they’ve got it fixed it’s one of my favorite games top five besides red dead and the GTA series

I love this game, the one feature I'm still annoyed they took out, was 3rd person, being able to see all the cool outfits you and gear you get would have been so good.
There is photo mode for that. Thats why one of the heavy emphasis in this update is photo mode.

They never "took out" 3rd person mode. All the gameplay and interactions was designed with 1st person in mind only. Only exception is while driving.

They would have to make animations for the way your character shoots, jumps, uses cyberware, etc it's not something they will ever add because it is not a small addition
3rd person requires creating a whole new set of animations, and take ages even on a basic level. Modern 3rd person games tend to rely on mocap would take even longer to add. If cdpr just added a player head and kept the current animations it would look awful

I just wanted to be able to have more than one respec for skill points per character bc I wanna use a netrunner build on this one save I have but I accidentally respec’d earlier in the game without realising the consequences
Skills can be respec'd freely, unless you're talking about attributes. if thats the case, you could use the console command mod, which i believe has commands to reduce or increase your attribute stats i could be wrong though.

The color change cannot be "applied to any car". Only to certain select cars. The ones that you can change have a bucket icon next to their names.
The photomode drone is such a game changers for taking shots now. No longer having that annoying invisible wall stop you. I wish they add cyber arms and gloves and such.

The irony is off the charts when an in depth Vehicle Customization makes much better sense than your own character customization purely because of the single fact that you can at least admire your full customized Vehicle from your perspective AND it got its own 3rd person view camera to appreciate it even further.
Where as the surprisingly not so bad in depth character customization means jack shit when you can't even see yourself beside looking at your fancy looking nails and mess around in photo mode.

Its the same as IRL, i know what ill put on, i know ill look good, i don't need to have a mirror in front of me 24/7 so i can admire myself and my cool outfits ive put togehter, theres enough scenarious throughout the day where ill see it, in reflections, sometimes in mirrors or by getting compliments from other ppl. I rather had an input in getting compliments from your surroudings instead of seeing my character all the time. Its cool yeah, but not necessary. Its easier for me to blend into the world by playing 1st Person, its the same when im driving cars btw. I rather have the feeling that I am V, instead of Playing V.

Oh no another dolt complaining about third person, god forbid they add more content on a game they said they were finished with. It's fan service and nothing more, not to mention it's no different than real life, you buy clothes, get hair cuts and so on. The fact is there is still photo mode, third person driving and mirrors, for a first person game there are still plenty of options to view your clothes and look. People do all that to either fit in or attract a potential partner. So, in a single player game where no one can see you and you can't even see your own character, why bother? The two are not the same. Quit being disingenuous.

Playing it now on steam deck after finishing it back on its release date. The difference is amazing. I never missed those bulletsponge fights. Plus, melee build has seen so much upgrades.
I am constantly customizing my V and I've been wanting car customization so this is awesome! Scanning another car's paintstyle and copying it to yours is the perfect idea.

Higher FoV hurts performance as there is more shown on the screen. It probably tanks performance on console. Particularly with their low memory bandwidth.

Either they have plans to add a third person mode in the future or they're extremely out of touch with how players actually interpret their game. I love them both but you can definitely tell the A-Team rolled out as soon as the Witcher 3 was done and over with.

I played the hell out of this at launch (I had just got my Series X and it was my only game) and I've been meaning to go back, but every time I do it's like another huge update has dropped.
There’s one thing I’m waiting for from an update, I wish the Devs would add a customization option that’d give you cyber limbs like johnnys arm or something, probably difficult with the arm weaponry customization options like mantis blades or monowires but it’d still be awesome to be able to have that as an option
More character design elements, but we still don't have a TPS mod where it makes sense. Nice.
