Sure johnny and V talk a bit during some side missions and have a few jokes, but he doesn't really get development until after he has decided not to kill you and becomes more friendly. The guy dropped a nuke in arasaka tower, his entire existence is to get at them. Even if he and V become good friends i still see it in his interest to take over V's body and fight arasaka if given the opportunity, especially if V tries to work with them.
@Alex Van S. Arasaka is the name of some of the bad guys in the game. They own a huge corporation named the same. Yorinobu Arasaka is a big part of the story of Cyberpunk 2077.
I got that same bug around 19:50 where youre trying to climb through a window but it isnt broken enough so it repels you hundreds of meters away. Good stuff, fun times. Enjoyed the game even with all the bugs and crashes

Lowkey I'm dying from the complete juxtaposition of the Panam and V relationship that's quite sweet, and then Charlie just beating the shit out of people with a sledgehammer in the very next scene. Top tier laughter.
This game honestly probably has one of the best soundtracks in modern AAA gaming. Not to sound cringe or anything, but not many games can encapsulate the feeling of being a borderline superhuman through the soundtrack alone. Like the music throughout the (don’t fear) the reaper ending. Makes you feel like the badass you are, mowing through dozens of arisaka grunts while invading the tower completely solo. Something not a single merc has ever achieved, and whole organized groups could barely do. Meanwhile, V just up and invades on a whim and tears them down from the ground up.
I think there are modern AAA games with better soundtracks but Cyberpunk is a decent one. Red Dead Redemption 2 comes to mind when I think about great soundtracks that fit the game. Elden Ring has a great soundtrack too. Watch Dogs 2 is a personal favourite of mine.

@Alex Van S. Arasaka is the name of some of the bad guys in the game. They own a huge corporation named the same. Yorinobu Arasaka is a big part of the story of Cyberpunk 2077.

I got that same bug around 19:50 where youre trying to climb through a window but it isnt broken enough so it repels you hundreds of meters away. Good stuff, fun times. Enjoyed the game even with all the bugs and crashes

You've gotta remember that the more the game progresses, the more you become like Silverhand and he becomes like you...so it would make sense that he would become more selfless. That and the character development isn't just "Oh we've become closer", but rather you've only known Silverhand by the negative actions, and this is him finally showing you a positive side

This game honestly probably has one of the best soundtracks in modern AAA gaming. Not to sound cringe or anything, but not many games can encapsulate the feeling of being a borderline superhuman through the soundtrack alone. Like the music throughout the (don’t fear) the reaper ending. Makes you feel like the badass you are, mowing through dozens of arisaka grunts while invading the tower completely solo. Something not a single merc has ever achieved, and whole organized groups could barely do. Meanwhile, V just up and invades on a whim and tears them down from the ground up.
I think there are modern AAA games with better soundtracks but Cyberpunk is a decent one. Red Dead Redemption 2 comes to mind when I think about great soundtracks that fit the game. Elden Ring has a great soundtrack too. Watch Dogs 2 is a personal favourite of mine.
