Dude I cannot thank you enough for these tutorials. You’re videos are smooth af and the transitioning is solid. I cannot wait to try this in my car. I know it’ll be worth it. Thank you for these awesome how to my brother. 🙏🙏
OMG that's effing amazing. I can't wait to start this project. Hopefully I'll have it done before mid summer. Still have a few more projects to complete. The best part is that they are very bright, which is perfect for me considering I live in the middle of nowhere, with no real street lights, and deer's love to jump out on the damn road.
YUP way brighter than stock, great throughput even if you frosted your crests and brows. Stay tuned, I know you were interested in demon eyes so I've got them on the way😎

I cannot wait for the demon eyes and the etched lens. I've been looking for them everywhere now. You inspired. After you've dropped all your parts and products, I'll try this on my own. LMK if you have IG or anything for support. Thanks again.
hey man just checking how the wires held up over time and to see if it’s worth it to splice in a switch instead of just having the exposed copper, please lmk
This kit didn't come with turn signal switchbacks or drl taps. It's just ON when car is on or OFF when car is off. I'll be getting a different controller that enables switchbacks and other stuff when car is off
I am going to start this project right when I get back from vacation. However I am using profile pivot led switchbacks, so I do not need a controller but is there any way you can help or suggest a way to wire as a DRL and turn signal?? Thanks
Regarding your power source… are you able to leave them on in the app and they turn on when you start the car or do you have to turn them on using the app?
Can be done either way. Check out videos 2 and 3 for more power source options. I've now got my blueghozt running always-on so it can do welcome animations when I unlock the doors 👍🏾
@@SquareWheelsAuto thank you. I’m using the Magic LED app Lighting Trendz recommended. Just want to be sure that if I use the relay spot you did and leave the LED on in the app, they’ll turn off and on when I start and stop the ignition without having to use the app?
@@bryanmatthews5827 yes, probably. It was LED HUE when I did this video and that's how it behaved. The app/controller would remember what it was doing last right before power was killed, and do that immediately when power was restored.
On the dash does anything come up about the drls? Or does it stay totally fine? The drl on my driver side died and if this doesnt show any issues with drls being unplugged, heck im gonna do exactly this!
ive been waiting for this for a week now. I ordered the leds but got the wrong part (RGBWA), trying to contact them and change the leds to the flow series :(
@@ericarroyo1984 The RGBWA doesn't have the long led (just the crescent) and it suppose to have less color. Basically, it is used to replace broken crescent light, not for having headlight lightshow.
Hey man how did you connect the lighting trendz power wire into the fuse panel? I’ve got my headlights apart and painted so installing the new leds is my next step
Awesome I love to hear when ppl are doing this! check out this video @ 5:04 - this is where I tapped for switched 12v for the Lightingtrendz controller.
@@SquareWheelsAuto I see what u did but I don’t see how you actually connected the wire to the fuse?. Did you just push it down into the slot and put the fuse on top of it or have to connect it a different way?
@@SquareWheelsAuto sweet thanks man! And yes I grabbed all testing items you mentioned in the link s before hand. Really appreciate your guide to the Q50 retrofit. I feel like we could prolly make money doing this for other people who aren’t confident enough doing it themselves.. 😂
Another great tutorial, I’m trying to wire sequential switchback led strips to replace the eyebrows, does anyone know those wires on the headlight unit I can tap into
Which headlight signal ru trying to tap? I hook my blueghozt up to the headlight harness in video 3 in this series, it might help depending what ur trying to do 👍🏾

@@SquareWheelsAuto two of the circuit boards touched and I hear a sizzle, now it keeps beeping, when I engage the signal lights, just as I had figured out all the wires, nothing else appears to be damaged so guess I’m lucky
I just reversed the process. Put the clear casing on after everything is assembled, warm up in the oven, then squeeze together while the sealant is warm and put the screws back in
I have a 2018 and my fuse box has a second smaller box, it has the same little black one as you but then it has a blue one next to it, do i continue and wire it up like yours or?
The position I noted was one of few that provides switched 12v power when the engine is on. Should be the same for all years but if you're in doubt, check with a multimeter!
@@SquareWheelsAuto hey quick question i was trying to test mine today and they did not want to turn on, the Bluetooth would connect but the lights didn’t turn on. Would you happen to know whats going on?
@@SquareWheelsAuto I was going to use the controller that the rgb lights come with. Would it not be possible under the same relay connection you have in the video? Or should I use another controller such as the ghost one in part 3?

These DRLs are marginally brighter than stock, but still not as bright/bold as, say, Audi's DRLs. If brightness is your top priority, I'd recommend getting some switchbacks (not RGB) - they tend to be brighter than fully addressable RGB LEDs.
@@SquareWheelsAuto I’m not wanting to be brighter or dimmer it’s that I’ve seen some light strips have bright white then the moment you switch to a different color its super faded and looks like crap
