That was, by far, the best video! Seeing Momma Rosa and the family enjoying America! Such beautiful places to see. Thank you so much for sharing this with us! It looks like everyone enjoyed themselves.

I love that your Italian family knows that the best food is homemade. I got to about 5:40 and thought, "I hope this video is 8 hours long. I want to spend the day with these people."
OMG Harper when did you learn the banjo??! That was awesome! A little Appalachian music with the Grand Canyon backdrop. Amazing❤ This whole video was fantastic. ❤❤😊
The beauty of my homeland! Navajo Nation! My mom grew up near the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. And Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon are Navajo Nation parks.
Papa Turi’s description of Monument Valley brought me to tears. So many times I take for granted the beauty in our country. It was a sweet reminder of these blessings we hold.
One of my most favorite videos of yours. Watching this made me so emotional remembering my own Italian family, who mostly all have passed away. Momma Rosa reminds me so much of my Zia who always had a scarf around her neck and loved to shop. Papa Turi’s mannerisms are a lot like my father’s. I sat smiling but also with tears rolling down my face the entire video. Cherish these precious memories always.
I'm blessed to come from one of those families. I was born 5 miles from where Eva and her family come from. We now live in Canada. The two things that stand out are looking for mushrooms and the massive food haul. Harper, you are so talented. Eva and Harper, your Videos make my heart sing. Thank you, Grazie.
Will you let other immigrants who are newer know to please be cautious about wild mushrooms far from home? Every year there are news stories about entire families dying because someone THOUGHT they recognized a wild mushroom that turned out to be quite poisonous.
This was absolutely amazing for your family. Brought tears. Seeing the Grand Canyon is a once in a lifetime experience. 😮❤Happy New Year to you all. 2025 & the next 4 years are going to be terrifying. You may want to move to Italy long term.
Harper, I hadn't heard "I'll fly away" in a very long time. Thank you for singing it. I was in tears, especially because your mother-in-law had just mentioned eternity.
I was waiting for this one ! Did not disappoint. As an immigrant myself in USA I am glad people can see how beautiful this country is. Love it ! Love it ! Love it !!!
My neighbors in Italy are Cubans and they would disagree with you about the USA. By the way, they are in Italy because Cubans are allowed to go everywhere. But ask your American neighbors how many times they've been to Cuba.
I've watched so many of your videos, and I think this is my absolute favorite. I normally love the ones in Calabria, but to see the U.S. through Italian eyes is a special thing. I'm (almost) homesick watching this from our home in Spain. And yes, Monument Valley is the top.
I always think of italy as being one of the most outrageously beautiful countries. But thank you for playing our national anthem as your fsmily came upon yhe grand canyon. My country is so beautiful ❤❤❤😮
I was brought to tears watching Momma Rosa in Antelope Canyon. In the '80s, I made this trip with my Italian inlaws, and when we drove over the steep mountain passes, they all got out their rosaries. This was a lovely episode. If they agree, I would love to see more of their visit. Ciao for now.
What a beautiful year end video Harper. My mother used to sing that song to us when we were little (I'm 71) and you standing there singing and strumming with the Grand Canyon backdrop brought tears to my eyes. It's been years since I've been there and there are indeed no words to describe it's splendor. I spent many years and raised my kids in Albq. but now live in Mexico...this video makes me want to take my Mexican husband up there to show him the beauty of the southwest. Thanks so much for this delightful road trip and all the best to you and Eva for the New Year. Abrazos
I’ll Fly Away at the Grand Canyon brought tears to my eyes! Beautiful, Harper! I’m so glad for the family having a good experience. God bless America! 🇺🇸
This was so fun!! Mamma Rosa is so adventurous! Eva must get it from her!! I adored her! ❤. I can’t imagine how everything looks so big and different to someone from another country. It’s like they traveled to another world. Even Americans seeing this part of the country feel this way. Harper!!! The banjo solo was fantastic! Bravo 👏 👏👏👏🤩 I really enjoyed all of this so much!! P.S. The corn dogs neeed mustard to be on point 😂
I cannot believe he willingly let them eat corn dogs 😂😂 Of course I secretly shamefully eat them from time to time. Mustard is de rigueur, but I would never allow a foreign guest to eat that trash 😂😂
I wept, I laughed, I was grateful…. what a great time. And Fremont Experience is a definite sensory and visual overload for older Italians😂. Thank you!!! I had so much fun!!
Just as pictures and video cannot do the landscapes justice, I can't adequately convey how much I enjoyed this video. The whole thing was great, but some of my favorite moments were Harper playing/ singing "I'll Fly Away" at the Grand Canyon, Mama Rosa's awestruck loss for words at the natural beauty of the places, her endearing souvenir shopping, Francesco and Valentina's adventurous spirit in trying new American foods and yet with the expected and stereotypical Italian critique. 😄 It seemed like everyone had a great time. Thank you for sharing your family road trip with us! Saluti e grazie! Ciao!👋❤🛣
Seeing their reaction to the Grand Canyon was so great to see! I'm glad you were able to take them on a road trip and that Ava was able to have her parents visit your home here. 😊
The clip of Eva saying, "Taste's like liberty," needs to be clipped and reused again and again. This was one of your best videos-even without a recipe. Hilarious and joyful. Thank you to your entire family for letting us tag along for some of it. La ringrazio a mama Rosa e papà Turi.
I love all of your videos, so do not take this the wrong way. This one is my favorite. Your moment with Mamma Rosa and Papa Turi at the Grand Canyon brought me right back there. Your In-laws are the most adorable people in the world. Thank you for sharing this with all of us. Mamma at the Antelope almost made me cry. Happy New Year, tutti!!
So nice to see your family enjoying themselves. You are so caring and respectful to your parents! Good for you, thanks for sharing! My favorite shot is Eva's expression when entering casino.
I have to hand it to you two. this was the best video yet and that's saying something. I loved to see a guest to our country appreciate some of the amazing things America has to offer. As a traveler who has fallen in love with Italy and almost all things italian. I still love my homeland and love to show it off. Great Job!!!
This video was so fun! Great sense of humor. Glad everybody enjoyed so much of their vacation. My first vacation in 30 years was with Eva and Harper in Italy in May! So it’s a very special year for me. When I visited Vegas, I chose a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon and a comedy show with Jim Gaffigan. My dad would’ve had me harmonizing with the song “fly away”, one of his favorites. I loved when mama Rosa kept saying, “what did he say about me?” Haha! Wonderful video as usual!
First thing: Great video! When I was out there in the 70s, none of those overlooks had been constructed. You went into these places on your own. No tourist amenities at all. I slept in my van. The viewpoints on the Grand Canyon were openings in the forest, and if you wanted to see Monument Valley and the Horseshoe bend, you had to hike out into them. Love from Italia.
You and Mamma Rosa were right. There really aren't any words for experiencing the Grand Canyon. You can read about it, see it in photos and video, but nothing can compare to being there and being swallowed up in that immenseness. Lovely video, and a lovely trip!
This video makes me feel proud of America. First, the amazing physical sights that make up our great land, second, your family, which is an example of the best of America (an immigrant, marveling at the USA with her lovely family,) and third, that we (the USA) got Eva, who is gracing us with her culinary gifts week after week. This is what America is all about. Harpers music was icing on the American cupcake! I need ad address so I can send Momma Rosa some magnets :)
I absolutely love this video ! There’s nothing better than having your family come to America to visit you and seeing the look on their faces when they experience it.
Loved this video! The southwest has soooo many cool spots and I was hoping that you guys would have gone to MY favorite. It's south of the Grand Canyon called Walnut Canyon Monument. I know that walking down all the stairs would have been impossible for Eva's parents, but it's an incredible space. You can really feel the presence of the tribes who once lived in the cave dwellings there. I also love Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado for the same reason. I also wish they could have seen Bryce and Zion in Utah. The western US has the most beauty, considering I've lived in many different areas of the country. Cheers to you all, and Happy, Healthy New Year!!!
Who says you have to have a big production team to produce a great travel and food video? This was a lot of fun to watch. I liked the element of "reaction" to our western states, especially as it relates to different palates reacting to what we consider tasty, such as Francesco's reaction to refried beans. Speaking of beans, I noticed you brought pre-hydrated black-eye peas? Did I see that right? I'm currently on a dried bean kick and that caught my eye. Great job, overall - bravo! My only request would be for you to set the banjo on fire with lighter fluid ala Jimmy Hendrix (I hate banjos and if your family watches "Deliverance" on DVD on the way back, they will too).
What a Wonderful adventure!!! Eva’s Parents are so cute… & her cousins look like they have fun wherever they go!!! Unloading the car at the AirBNB looked like me this Christmas when I unpacked at the AirBNB… I only bought 1 Big Christmas tree & 3 little ones. (And plenty of wine too!!!) Happy Healthy New Year to All!!!🎉❤️🙏
Bravo, Harper! You did a great job documenting the trip and putting a witty spin on it! I loved the banjo playing and your comments at the end on the dangers of magnets, but most of all, I loved how you took care of Eva's family and gave them a trip they'll remember forever! You and Eva made the whole thing fun!
I love seeing people from overseas experiencing America for the first time. They truly don't know how big this country is and how beautiful some of the landmarks are
I have enjoyed every one of your videos, but this tops them all. The chance to show Eva's family some of this country had to have been an experience like Harper being show parts of Italy for the first time. Just awesome ! Thank you !
Grande Canyon is a perfect example of God knowing what he was doing. So happy your family had the honor of seeing. I hope to carry my family there, it's just a long drive from Alabama
OMG this video might be my favorite one of yours, EVER. I'm an American about to move overseas again and it made me so homesick already, if that makes any sense at all. Also, the BANJO? SOOOOOO cooooool, but that porchetta (!) and just...wow. What a great video. It's always fun taking Europeans on a road trip. :)
In my experience, when I’ve taken those from Europe around, or talked to them while in Europe, they struggle to grasp the size and scale of the US. Then add in the diversity of cultures, climates and ecologies from north to south, east to west, and it’s more like 50 small countries.
Bravo Harper! In all my years of music school, I have never seen anyone play the banjo. So glad Eva's parents could visit. Health and long life to your beautiful parents.
Minute 3:00, and I've been bawling throughout...Mille grazie❤ As an Italian born, raised in the U.S. I have no words. Proud Italian and Proud American, right here. Felice anno nuovo 🎉
this video reminds me of the start of the channel showing eva around America in the middle of the pandemic..glad that eva can enjoy pandemicless america, with her family no less!! hope you guys are having a great christmas and new year!!
BEST road trip narrative! Too sweet and super funny. My hometown is Las Vegas, NV. Moved here as a three year old. Must say, I stay away from all the areas that you guys visited. I feel exactly how Mama felt seeing the sights. I grew up going to all the hotels for dinners at great restaurants when family and friends came in town. I saw more lounge acts and big showroom entertainers and shows than concerts. Our city was so classy and we dressed up to go out on the town. Living now through my fourth Las Vegas Strip skyline with mega resorts. Fremont street is purely different as well. I miss my little Las Vegas town. We’ve lots to do that doesn’t include gaming.
Thank you so much for taking us all on this wonderful journey with your family.. I myself have never seen these amazing sites and I loved all the comments and your banjo playing.. what a lovely family. God bless you all 🙏🏻
Really enjoyed seeing the whole family, especially the cousin and GF. Harper, that was a hilarious ending. Anche impressionato con le tue abilità banjo!
I watch so many videos, but never really bother to comment. I was blown away by your Grand Canyon song. The song, the artistry of the video, the views, the soaring birds and the sentiment brought a real lump in my throat. How awesome to see this lovely trip. Thanks for sharing
Your father in law is so right. Something we take for granted like wind and rain can leave it's mark on the earth for generations to be awed by. The Southwest is full of nature's marvels I never tire of seeing.
I absolutely LOVED this video! I'm originally from AZ and it brought back so many memories. Momma Rosa and Papa Turi make my heart melt. Im so glad you all had such a beautiful visit
It's so charming seeing this blended family at work. And lovely to see (and experience) the pride you have showing them a bit (admittedly an amazing bit) of the country. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I think it must be universal for Foreign visitors to bring familiar food with them while traveling. I once traveled with some Sichuanese Chinese from Chendhu on a trip up to Michigan's Upper Peninsula for the fall colors and they brought all the fixin's for Sichuan Hot Pot to make in their motel room on a small portable butane stove. Awesome banjo music, loved the video.
I really loved meeting your family Eva. Watching made me feel as if I was coming along with your family. Oh, Harper, you have a great voice and who knew you could play the fiddle? Thanks again for letting me tag along. 😁👍
"So it's already over-cooked but it still needs to soak" ❤❤💪🏻This man is my friend. He is very smart and aware and witty. God, I love watching this one. Very, very good content imo. edit: 21:54. I love this.
OMG! My husband and I just finished watching this video and died laughing at the end - tears are flowing - too good!!! Beautiful sites and gorgeous photography too. We enjoyed watching Italians try Arizona Tex Mex and other "American" specialties. Buon anno e salute ad un 2025 ricco di momenti felicie!
Beautiful!! Also, just a suggestion, you should look into renting a large luxury motor home. They usually have all the perks, can stop wherever to nap, warm up, and so on. So are so nice and big with all the amenities. Plus you can pull a car usually.
Hello from Oregon! Selfie injuries are a big issue here but then again there are occasionally mountain lions in the ocean so sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. Glad everyone had fun!
Being a German living in America, I can so identify with this video. My family visiting from Germany, and the "must do" road trips. Loads of laughter, fun, and everything in between. My family struggled with the air-conditioning as well, lolol loved this ❤❤❤
reminds me of a road trip I took with my parents and several other people to Terlingua, Texas - we had so much crap in the rented Chevy Tahoe and brought basically all our food including fancy stuff like prime rib and foie gras. Had a great time.
I watched this for the first time on New Years Day. Thank you for the perfect beginning of 2025. This was the best video you have made, and so far I have loved them all. Thank you again!
What a lovely video. It's so wonderful to see you show Ava's family America and we also enjoy your videos in Calabria. It's a beautiful family experience.
WOW ❤ This is incredible Harper and Eva! I'm an American but I've never been to Arizona and after watching this, it's now on my bucket list. Poor mama Rosa! You took her to some of the most awe-inspiring, incredibly beautiful places, not only in the United States, but of the world. Then you take her to Satan's playground 😂. THEN you give her an awful sour candy. 😂😂. Obviously I love all your videos but this one is special ❤. Thanks for sharing this with us ❤
I've seen most of the places that you visited, but it's wonderful to see these same things from a fresh perspective and enjoy your family's appreciation. At 75 years old I'm sorry to say that I will never see Antelope Canyon. My loss.

Loved that, but it gave me tears... taking parents on trips is a memorable experience that is cherished and even more when they are gone.
This was a really sweet video. Thank you for sharing it with us. Grazie ❤
Minute 3:00, and I've been bawling throughout...Mille grazie❤ As an Italian born, raised in the U.S. I have no words. Proud Italian and Proud American, right here. Felice anno nuovo 🎉
That moment when you first see the Grand Canyon.........takes your breath away. "there are no words"
this video reminds me of the start of the channel showing eva around America in the middle of the pandemic..glad that eva can enjoy pandemicless america, with her family no less!!
hope you guys are having a great christmas and new year!!
Thanks for sharing your adventures gave me much joy watching. ⛄️💃
Loved the journey!
Your father in law is so right. Something we take for granted like wind and rain can leave it's mark on the earth for generations to be awed by. The Southwest is full of nature's marvels I never tire of seeing.
Same here. I grew up watching the Southwestern beauty and witnessed it in person many times. My breath is always taken away.
I absolutely LOVED this video! I'm originally from AZ and it brought back so many memories. Momma Rosa and Papa Turi make my heart melt. Im so glad you all had such a beautiful visit
As a fellow Arizonan, it’s really fun to see the drive and know exactly where you are!
25:00. Papa Ture made my heart melt.
great trip with your family really enjoyed it.
It's so charming seeing this blended family at work. And lovely to see (and experience) the pride you have showing them a bit (admittedly an amazing bit) of the country. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Great idea for a video. Really exciting. Edit: papa Turi sitting in the dark was hilarious.
YES!!! The Grand Canyon always leaves people speechless no matter where they’re from!!!❤
I think it must be universal for Foreign visitors to bring familiar food with them while traveling.
Hot pot in the fall? I agree with their choices, lol!
This was so touching to see Eva’s family, especially her wonderful parents, fall in love with the West. Loved this family adventure!
I really loved meeting your family Eva. Watching made me feel as if I was coming along with your family. Oh, Harper, you have a great voice and who knew you could play the fiddle? Thanks again for letting me tag along. 😁👍
I loved watching this video, seeing Eva's Family enjoying some of your Beautiful Country, and you playing banjo! ❤
"So it's already over-cooked but it still needs to soak" ❤❤💪🏻This man is my friend. He is very smart and aware and witty.
God, I love watching this one. Very, very good content imo.
edit: 21:54.
I love this.
We need to see more of these road trip videos! And Eva's reactions to her parents.
That was delightful!
Is there anything more American than a guy playing banjo and singing "I'll Fly Away" at the rim of the Grand Canyon?
That was your best video ever!!! Heart-warming for sure! Love Mamma Rosa!!
Hello from Oregon! Selfie injuries are a big issue here but then again there are occasionally mountain lions in the ocean so sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. Glad everyone had fun!
Mountain lions in the oceans??😮
An Eva always ready to save the day 🙏 and cooks. Love this girl!!🎉🎉🎉 ok, had to add that banjo! The cherry on top ND lively lovely fam!
My loss.
