Aren’t the marks not currently working?
The flying Terra Pikachu you get from pre-ordering the game has "The Classic Ribbon" on it, which just says "A Ribbon that proclaims love for Pokémon"
That’s the default Event ribbon- it’s also on the new Mew distribution, as well as most of the gift Pokemon from Pokemon Home
I hunted the destiny mark myself. I now have Roaring Moon the Chosen One who is shiny.
Also, remember this; Ribbons from previous generations also have titles attached. Get ready for Home release in spring.
Did you tell if The Destiny Mark was on the first Shiny Roaring Moon you caught or did you have to try for multiple? I want to save this for the Charizard event on the 16th and put my birthday on that day and catch the Charizard hoping for that Mark on him
I encountered a shiny mudbray with the lunchtime mark! Its a special shiny not because of the mark but because my VERY first shiny pokemon ever was a mudbray in pokemon moon! It was really special to see him. His name is mustard!
I didn't even know about any of this. Turns out my Shiny Slitherwing had the "Sleepy-Time"-Mark the whole time. :D Now i love it even more.

After watching the video, I started checking my shinies I’d caught in game, and my shiny Volcarona had one, the dawn mark at that. Volcarona the Early Riser is quite fitting for a sun-like deity Pokémon.
One of my first Pokémon I caught was a Riolu. I named him Frustration because of how long it took for him to stay in a damn ball. I later saw that he had a mark and so I played the whole game with Frustration the Sleepy.
I have the exact opposite mark 😂. i was shiny hunting lucario i finally get it and it gets in the ball instantly i go to the summary and he has the dawn mark , lucario the early riser

I had Aura (riolu) with the dawn mark so his name is Aura the Early Riser
When i started pokemon scarlet, i caught a wooper named flappie and as i go through the game when it evolves into clodsire i noticed that flappie had the reliable partner mark and i didn't do anything to get it. Flappie is actually a very tanky pokemon i have so i can say that she's a reliable partner
I got a shiny dolphin with sleepy mark.
I find it funny cause when it enters battle in its weaker form i like to see it as a slumbering state and when it comes out as its hero form i see it as its awoken from its slumber to destroy its villanous foes. Totally love it

I’ve gotten around 15 full odds shinies so far and only 4 have marks! Glad to see they brought Marks back. Feels really nice when you get a shiny Pokémon AND a mark!

I found a full odds shiny Psyduck with a sleepy mark the other day. Only like 7 hours in my scarlet playthrough 😊

Reliable Partner Mark doesn’t appear to be based on friendship but how long your Pokémon is in your party.

I got lucky shiny hunting. Got a shiny shroomish with the joyful mark, only shiny I found in 30 mins so I was definitely happy. Also have the Rare Mark on a Psyduck (not shiny), which was a random catch for pokedex completion.

I have 3 shinies that all have the sleepy time mark. But it wasn't even nighttime in the game. Is it tied to your Switch clock and not the in-game time? I also feel like the sleep time mark is the most common one

ive got the item finder mark on 2 of my pokemon, it's the same as the partner mark as far as i can tell (which im trying to get on my Darkrai). i got them both while wandering around with my pokemon in let's go mode in order to raise their affection. it seems to me like it functions the same as the partner mark, but requires less steps to roll. i got it on two pokemon in around an hour and a half of walking, whereas serebii states that the partner mark is only rolled once every ten thousand steps. i dont know if picking up items actually has anything to do with it, but the maps in paldea are absolutely littered with items so it would be hard NOT to pick things up
Lol. yesterday I saw a Poke YT talking about marks and then I looked through my main if they have any. Surprisingly I got Meowscarada the Gourmet and Sligoo the Sociable
Not sure if it’s been asked or confirmed somewhere but say when save in front of a shiny would the possibility of it get the mark be set at spawn or could it be save scummed? For the Destiny Mark specifically.
I noticed some pokemon pick up items like berries when they walk over them. That could be the key to the item finder title.
Now imagine getting that mark on a pokemon (that you like) with pickup 😊

Could the item finder Mark has something to do with the ability pick up. Maybe if a Pokémon picks up a certain amount of items using the pick up ability it gets the mark?

I once found random full odds shiny metang in pokemon shield and it had a very rare ribbon on it :)
I went to check and one of my favorite shinys, a shiny Rockruff named Rouken, had a Zero Energy Mark.
I got a shiny dragonite and a shiny tinkaton with marks, but to be fair I hunted for like 35 shinies(edit: actually some of them I didn't hunt, but found like 9 random ones)
The Item Finder Mark has been deemed impossible to obtain. It isn't coded properly, it seems.

I got a shiny male Ralts and it has the cloud mark. I Have Ares (Gallade) the cloud watcher lol hes my main for shiny hunting. Oh and I got two shiny Milcery one with the sleepy and the other one has the snowy. Plus I also made them the star and bow sweet Alcerimies lol

For the Item Finder Mark, your Pokemon can pick up items in the wild while using the Let's Go feature. I'm thinking once one Pokemon picks up X amount of items, it gets the ribbon I'm assuming.
I'm pretty sure this mark is bugged, I've picked up around 40ish items and sparkling spots with a single pokemon
Yeah this mark doesn’t work properly. Hopefully they fix it for the DLCs

How do I get the marks to show up? I have some pokemon that say Curent Ribbon or Mark -- / Title Conferred ---- vs. most of them that say this pokemon doesn't have any. So, how do I get the marks to show up in the first place?

Ooooohhhhh, that’s what it was! I finished playing Scarlet recently, and I had a Kilowattrel named Scree, right? But then I approached the gate to Team Star’s Fighting Squad and challenged Carmen, and when Scree was sent out, the text said “Go! Scree the Reliable Partner!” That confused me for a little while.
