- I'm gonna be attempting to complete the ENTIRE Gen 9 Shiny Dex for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet!
This means I will need to get all 105 unique Pokemon from the Paldea region in it's shiny form!

For future hunts, if you need a specific mass outbreak to spawn you just need to put on a lvl. 2 encounter sandwich of the type of pokemon you're looking for and stand in an area that the habitat page for your pokemon shows as highlighted, save, open your map and start a cycle of going to the date and time settings, not changing anything, just closing the page with the OK button and opening the game to see the new outbreaks. You should be seeing more outbreaks of that type in the area you're in and you're likely to find your desired pokemon much more quickly. This is also the reason why many outbreaks feel as far more common, ones like Glimmet, Bronzong, Rufflet, Flittle, Varoom... they're the ones that will spawn no matter what area you're in.

That’s not a texture change that’s a material change! ☺️ textures are the colours and patterns on the model, and they’re changed for every shiny Pokémon, but the metallic properties of the model are from the material!

not if its using a metallic texture along with the albedo
For future hunts if theres ever a super small/hard to notice shiny you can simply autobattle them because autobattling refuses to kill shinies

True, but if you're doing an outbreak hunt that'll kill the outbreak so only works for sandwich-type hunts
@@sylvieshuu also true, but if you save after 60KOs you can keep knocking out about 30 at a time and then restarting to your 60KO save so you don’t ruin your chances and disperse the outbreak

It's been just less than 2 months since the game has been out and someone has already gotten all of the shiny Pokémon, insane !
He never actually got them all he traded for them
I literally got like 90% of them myself and only traded for the Scarlet exclusives and 2 starters
@@jaydenwilson As someone who is doing a shiny Living Paldean Pokedex, Trading with someone who has the Scarlet exclusives is fine. I've been trading my Shiny Violet Paradox forms to my brother for the Shiny Scarlet Paradox forms so it's excusable.

The value of a shiny doesn’t come from rarity or hours spent it comes from how much one loves the Pokémon

I've done that too. Not sure what I was doing one night but I seen on my profile I fought 7 shineys and I only noticed 1 that I caught. Was I drunk missing the shiney sign? 😢
Haha that almost happened with my first shiny. It was a rellor raid and I wans't really that familiar with it and the only reason I actually even caught it was because I thought the regular sparkles at the end when you win the battle weren't normal

You could just do the isolated method for most Pokémon, like for Flamigo. It probably would've been much easier and faster to get. Sometimes the outbreaks can suck for certain Pokémon, that's why it's better to do the isolated method imo. Also I'm so sorry that you spent so many hours trying to get the shiny starters 😭 That must've sucked so much. I wanna eventually get the shiny starters too but I'm worried I'll also get super unlucky. There's no way I can hatch eggs for as long as you did. I will cry

Once I get this game, I’m SO gonna enjoy looking for Shiny Pokémon. I thought that the Let’s Go series and Legends Arceus had great odds, but from the videos I’ve seen and my friends experiences, this could be a new realm of awesome.

rellor isn't actually the only pokemon who gets new textures for their shinies since magikarp and forretress get a metallic texture for their shinies

Tastugiri outbreaks always spawn the same form despite the icon on the map
Only the evolution item for armarogue is version exclusive, if you'd like to get one with your OT at another point you can just trade for a pokemon holding it's evo item like flapple and appletun in swsh. (I think the way you did it is fair too though)

Shiny Hunting tip: Send out your Pokémon to auto-battle the wild ones. If your Pokémon comes across a Shiny, it will refuse to attack it. This is really useful for spotting small Shiny Pokémon or Pokémon with difficult Shiny colors to spot, like Tandemaus or Tadbulb.

I don't even bother with outbreaks anymore, and just isolate hunt the entire time.

I recently did a shiny Sprigatito hunt and got it in around 200 eggs but it took me an extra long time bc I was also looking around for full/shiny charm odds shinies while I hatched the eggs to make it less boring lol. I found a shiny Deerling, Hopip, and Oinkologne! Now I'm hatching Cyndaquil while hunting for Applin 🤞✨️

Somehow varoom is super duper easy to find in my opinion because I found a full odds rolycoly while right next to a varoom outbreak and when I was about to leave the outbreak since I found the rolycoly I saw the shiny varoom in the background and I screamed-

If anyone is hunting velusa just go into the see next to the lake and go up and down the coastline without stopping. This stops annoying encounters

I love seeing all the different shiny Pokemon I just got Violet a little bit ago and I am trying to get a shiny Rorua and evolve it into Zoroark and name it Violet because its awesome colors just match the game very well and I would greatly appreciate getting any advice about getting a shiny pokemon. I can't wait to watch more upcoming videos from Jayden.
Outbreaks and the shiny charm will help, but Zorua outbreaks are weird so idk how to hunt him so maybe Masuda method would be best

Sadly the ditto, zorua and zoroark outbreaks are broken still but there are special spots for them, zorua around medali as single mabostiff, zoroark in that forest by the lake i think and ditto by the porto thingy lighthouse i think. You probably already got the shiny (i hope) but if not use this or search it up

I got a flamigo by accident 2 min into a sandwich that I made to look for iron valiant. However. I'm currently at a swablu outbreak, it's been at least 4 hours, and I haven't seen a single shinny. Not ONE. I swear I must be colorblind. That thing is yellow!! Some hunts are so ridiculously out of the blue frustrating

Something is definitely weird with the shiny odds, so far I've gotten 8 full odds shiny pokemon, 1 of them while trying to get an outbreak noivern. 3 of them while traveling to a 6 star den.
And 4 of them just trying to beat the game.
I guess its just because the odds now are technically 15/4096, which would make it more accurately 1/273

Oh it wasn’t a website haha. It was an image u can find by searching “every shiny Pokémon scarlet and violet” and the checkboxes I edited in myself
at the Veluza part, and i have a funny story about my shiny Veluza. i didn't find her on purpose. i got into a battle with a Zoroark on accident and ended up falling down a cliff into a batch of Veluza. i was about to climb back up after running from a Velza battle when i saw the shiny and was confused as to why it was green. i got into battle with her, and she accidentally killed herself! i risked it and reset to see when my autosave activated, and i was able to get her thanks to autosave!
I found a shiny dudusporse raid when in my cousins union circle on 2/3/24,so if you want it's in a grass raid near where the fairy team star base is.
