    Everyone right now arguing about artistic in artistic gymnastics. Much of us fans say the artistry in WAG is dead, because not everyone can be balletic or elegant. Ms Wieber for me find another type of elegance, she's cheerful, like a ray of joy, the music was selected specifically for her energy and aura and the choreo was perfectly built in terms of tempo and to make Jordyn movements interpret the music accents. Can the US make routines like this more often. Is not cheesy or just a lot of movements that looks randomly put one after another, every step make you feel the music. Not everyone has to be like a swan or a ballet ballerina to be artistic, please.

      Yeah Jordyn’s floor routines as a junior were pretty awkward but you can tell that she, her coaches and choreographer worked extremely hard on this one to put together a routine that showcased her personality and choreo that best suits her as a power gymnast. I know this routine didn’t have as much difficulty as Aly’s or some of the others but it was absolutely perfect for her, in my opinion.

    She was very good and talented it"s a shame and sad to hear that she announced her retirement and will not be competing for a spot on the USA Rio Olympic team this summer or competing for UCLA. But don't worry U can always time travel with You Tube!Best wishes in your future Jordyn I hope she becomes either a coach or a trainer one day!

      in 2016-2017 she was a volunteer assistant coach for the UCLA gymnastics team, and 2018-2019 too. She was coaching especifically on floor, helping the team to finish #1 on that event and winning some awards for Coach of the Year.
      And actually since 2019 she became the head coach of the University of Arkansas gymnastics team, being the first olympic champion to take the head role of a collegiate women's gymnastics program. AMAZING!!

    Oh my gosh me too. I actually can't believe I'm not the only one. I've basically seen every routine she's competed with this music because I love everything about this routine...lol too much

    She NAILED the 2 1/2 front layout on both days of this competition! It’s a shame that it was so inconsistent the rest of the time ☹️

    Not meaning to be rude, but Jordyn has definately become more slugish over the years and doesn't seem to be anywhere near as powerful as previously. This is mind, she is still absolutely amazing and one of the best in the world and my idol! (:

    that was literally like the only time Aly had ever finished ahead of Jordyn. Jordyn at her best is far and above Aly at hers. I wouldn't have taken Aly out of the AA though (even though Jordyn wouldn't have had the mistake Aly did) cause that's messed up and only the Russians would do something like that

  • @kras118

    I've heard so many people say that, which is so interesting, considering Aly qualified over Gabby, too.

    I think they should have removed Aly and put Jordyn in for AA. If Jordyn was in that competition she will give Gabby a run for her money.

    • @Andrew-pf5fj
      @Andrew-pf5fj 6 лет назад +3

      Aly qualified ahead of both Gabby and Jordyn... And no offense to Jordyn but she was gifted a lot of her wins (2011 Worlds, and American Cup). Once London came around, she really wasn't even in the mix compared to Aly, Jordyn, Aliya, and Vika.

    • @saragrant9749
      @saragrant9749 Год назад

      Absolutely not!! NO athlete who rightfully earns a spot in any final should ever be removed in favor of another- that is selfish, self centered arrogance speaking. A real gymnastics fan would NEVER say that- nor would an adult.
