1 of the clearest double Arabian dismounts I've seen in a long time!!! Aly is a rock solid hard core gymnast. She may not have fantastic dance.elements , but guess what? This is gymnastics and gymnastics is what she does best!!!! Yea!!!!!
Aly looks so little, compared to the 18 year old we saw in London, and the 20 year old we see now. I miss Aly competing, but she will be competing soon.

@ffalcons she is not trying to BE alicia. When you train that many hours with someone, under the same coach and hang together you have same style (look at ohashi and liukin. They dont look alike at ALL but have same style. If ohashi was talk and had those long hyperextended legs you'd be saying shes trying to be her too) Aly is lay. Period! !!
“You just cannot teach this” ughhhhh so many things in life are teachable, including handling the pressure in any situation like what Tim daggett was saying. If someone says “you cannot teach this” they are bullying the other person or writing them off

USA Gymnastics elevated the Karoli's to the point of negligence...these beautiful young ladies were victimized not only by Larry Nassar but the Karoli's also... I wish they were banned from gymnastics forever and all RUclips videos that they appear in or mentioned in were deleted.
Well then there would be no videos of any competition in which USA Gymnastics competed from like 1984-2016. So what you are suggesting is ridiculous and not even feasible.
I think her coaches focused too much on increasing her difficulty. Her form here is so much better. She hits splits, doesn’t bend her knees, has less leg separation, and even has a bit of a toe point. The dismount was amazing. In London her form was kind of a mess. I’m not trying to hate on Aly. I think she’s an amazing gymnast and she’s accomplished incredible things, but I prefer her now.
idk.... i just feel like alexandra's trying to be TOO much like alicia. its like...okay, you're not alicia, you're your own person. stop trying to be exactly like alicia. i mean i know they go to the same gym and alicia was her idol or whatever but its like dude...stop copying her, its annoying. like, first she has the same music as her, and then i noticed both her and alicia do that weird little hop thing before the run for their vault. i just find it incredibly annoying.

At this event she was second on beam behind Bross. Score = 15.050. D 5.900/E 9.150. Coming into London, Aly's beam SV is now at 6.500
Only a few more days before we get to see this badass back in action!

Why is it always the exact same routine? I'm not a gymnast, so I ask: do they just practice ONE routine on the beam for years and years?
They usually change routines to increase the difficulty. Therefore, the total points they can earn is higher.

There are no medals awarded for each apparatus in the Tyson Cup. Rebecca Bross won gold in the AA, and also beat Aly on beam.
