@Gr33nkiwi She usually does that triple twist much better, and you know that. She lands very, very well and did a great job for the US in Rotterdam. She may not be the most artistic gymnast out there, but she hits routine after routine.
Now I know why she looks so bored when she does the routine...it was Alicia's before her. It's a hand-me-down routine..she needed one of her own to succeed; she wouldn't have won floor gold with that routine in the Olympics.

@iTumbleToo Yes I am but she brought the double tuck back for nationals because she had less deductions on it than her piked double arabian which she tucks down
@Holycani Yeah,i hate that in 2008 almost everyone except nastia,shawn,and sandra izbasa was doing double pike,it is just so boring.....i would really like if Alexandra takes out at least that double tuck,or add a full twist in it,or to finish with more interesting tumble than double pike...i wish her good luck :)
***** I don't think it's a requirement to be Jewish to perform to Hava Nagila :) Ekaterina Lobaznyuk isn't Jewish, and she performed to it in 2000, and her routine is much better choreographed than Raisman's.

This might sound weird, but despite all that power she has a certain grace about her that I really like. Also I LOVE any Alicia-like style :)

I think she lands so well b/c she has a really strong core. I think she's just very strong, and can control her landings more because of it.
i'm so happy she took out the double back with a dos santos for 2011!

No they got it wrong. In 2009 Aly used Alicia's 2003/2005 music. Alicia never used this music. NBC just didn't realize that Aly got a new routine.
Matt Beck no actually this is Alicia's floor music. It's just a remastered version. Like Tim said, "Alicia fine tuned it for her"
