I am so happy that she listened to herself and her well-being in the recent events. She is already a Star. No matter what. She doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone. But, they train these beautiful women like soldiers. No time for human emotions. She herself stated that she feels like the weight of the world is on her shoulders, can you imagine? The stress, the worry that she has to swallow to not show fear, but to smile, and pretend that she is ok at all times. These organizations groom the start athletes to perform even with injuries, it’s happened to many times. Good for her for thinking of herself 1st, and following her gut. I am so proud of her, more today than before! Whomever thinks that she “quit”, for no reason, has not been watching what this woman has already accomplished. She DOES not need to prove anything to anyone anymore. This is why athletes have a BREAKING POINT. They are humans, they FEEL, they are not damn soldiers, go fight until the death! Jesus Christ! Haven’t you SEEN how many artist have broken down after a performance? They retreat, they go to rehab, they disappear for months, or they commit suicide. Why? The PRESSURE. The pressure is real. Haven’t you ever felt anxiety about something? Yeah, now multiply that by a million. Put yourself in her environment. People need to learn to understand behavior and why it is happening, before they jump the gun and attack someone without knowing what they are going through. When the body has gone through enough trauma, the body will speak to you. Either by shutting down, or your mind will shut down. When both of these shut down, it’s time to stop. And your body will stop weather you tell it not too. The people who criticize her, and called her selfish, think like the same people who do not understand what it takes to perform how she does. They don’t see her training all day like a rag doll for year after year. They don’t see the injuries. They only want to see her perform. And that, is selfish. Just like the coaches who harass them when they do not perform like they want them too. These coaches have no heart. They are like robots. No feelings. Let’s not forget that when Simone came out as another sexually abused victim, they finally decided to close the training camp. Can you imagine training in the same place where you where abused sexually? Another gymnast who was sexually abused, who went to court to testify against the man who abused them all, stated that the training camp had no cell phone reception. It is on a mountain away from civilization. The next hospital is so far away they would need a helicopter to transfer anyone that was injured. This young woman said that she would not eat or drink water, just to stay in shape. And when she would make a mistake, she was harassed by the coaches. She also stated that she was AFRAID of the coaches. These coaches instill fear in these women. Simone has been through hell, and she is a star already. She doesn’t want to follow the train anymore. She wants to follow her heart. Let’s let her make her own decisions…..for once in her life, she finally did.
Imagine if arguably the best player on the team quit during a match because they felt pressured, of course they feel that way. But Real legends don’t quit for anything even when they should, Muhammad Ali fought with Parkinson and he had some knowledge that something was wrong with his movement but he didn’t quit, he kept on going again and again until his severe brain injury at age 38 (during a match), crippled him permanently.

How do they rotate in the mid air and still manage to land on their feet? Cats can do that coz of special anatomy that enables them to conserve angular momentum. Anybody can explain.

6:25 is this the penalty talked about in articles that say she's been "penalized for having skills better than her peers"or "penalties for demonstrating potentially dangerous moves"?
It's actually really interesting. They're scored in two different categories for each event. The difficulty score and the execution score. You add the two together to get the total score for the event. The difficulty score you get points just for attempting difficult moves, the execution score is where you are judged on how well you performed said moves. Simone is immensely talented and attempts skills with a much higher difficulty than her competitors. As a result her difficulty score is always much higher than her competitors and they start out with a lower score from the get go because they cannot perform moves as difficult as she can. They're trying to say it's not fair because Simone will start out with a lead since her routines are harder. It's absolute bull. She earns her difficulty scores and deserves them for attempting, and generally, successfully completing them. They're truly short changing her. It's infuriating.
In gymnastics, every tenths of a point is crucial. Her beam dismount was underscored, it was given an H value instead of J. Her first tumbling pass on the floor should have been an I or K but only given a J-rating.
@@formicroscopyuseonly I am stating facts. For instance, BIles 1 beam dismount was only given an H despite the added twists. If her beam dismount is performed in a floor exercise, as per code of points it is a G-value, so when performed as beam dismount, a full point of J is just. One does not need to be a FIG judge to know that Simone was underscored and undervalued. I thought that you when you posted such question it was out of curiosity and that, you have no basic knowledge about gymnastics scoring system not out of spite, so I tried my best to answer your question and you call me presumptuous. THAT'S RUDE. No, my basis is the code of points, commentaries and articles from global gymnastics authorities. FIG judges aren't akways infallible, they can also undervalue Simone's eponymous skills. Seems that no amount of explanation could satisfy trolls and haters like you. Google it.

@@adrianbennett9875 probably means where the head points towards, as how dancers while doing spins spot their heads to the front or spin it faster than the rest of the body? Probably I don't make sense since I don't know about sports I hope they reply. 😔
@@alejandragutierrez6778 Thanks for the input, this means only certain initial positions enable people to land on their feet unlike cats who don't need any particular initial condition.
Idk but somehow it works.
Simone you are a blessing to us. I watched the whole show Saturday. The level of pressure thats falls on you, is tremendous. Well done young lady
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. Simone Biles and Muhammad Ali.

@@tundrawomansays5067 Thank you.. You seems quite cool would it be nice if we become friends
All her dedication and hard work paid off - so talented- a pleasure to watch. Thumbnail photo looks like Gabby Douglas rather than Simone Biles though.
It will take a big person to fill her shoes. I don’t think we will see anyone like her for a while. Best ever . She is a pocket rocket 🚀❤️🇬🇧
2:44 she landed that so well
Simone is absolutely phenomenal.
Sometimes, she needs space to focus on her. The critics must understand the importance of that.

Love every bit of you and your performances Simone... Keep being you... Much love from Nigeria (PH)
That’s a perfect combination of physical prowess, incredible core strength and grace! ❤❤❤
Spectacular performance, Simone Biles!! Your poise, athleticism, skills, and execution are par to none! Congratulations !!!!
*YOU'RE THE BEST, SIS, WELL DONE ON YOUR HARDWORK & SACRIFICES.* KUDOS SIS.!
perfection! you go girl! . i did gymnastics in school growing up. it is such a great feeling. i love watching it as i cannot do it well anymore ,i have vertigo.
That third pass on floor at 6:45 was absolutely stunning. Like...brilliant. Wow.
Right?? I replayed that pass so many times
She is really so good. The result of hard training, endurance and self denial. Kudos!
And roids
I'm so happy to be alive to witness her greatness. She is truely a blessing to behold from God.
We love you Simone, we pray for your safety, mental and physical wellbeing for ever and always.
Ummm...your thumbnail pic isn't Simone Biles, it's Gabby Douglas. Also a great gymnast in her own right.
Girl, you were SPECIALLY made for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You’re an ABSOLUTE NATURAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🙏🏽🌹👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾🌷🙏🏽
She’s so good 🤸🏽♀️
Way to go Simone!!!! She is simply so AWESOME!!!

Torço para que ela volte para Paris 2024. É lindo ver suas apresentações. E que a Rebeca venha pra brigar pelo pódio em todas as provas 👏👏👏👏
Simone Biles is so gifted. Her performances are breathtaking!
I'm pretty sure your thumbnail is an image of Gabby Douglas.
Thank you Lord for this talented beautiful lady Simon Biles
6:25 is this the penalty talked about in articles that say she's been "penalized for having skills better than her peers"or "penalties for demonstrating potentially dangerous moves"?
Unlikely, the deduction referenced there is just technical/procedural. The was supposed to be a leap, there wasn't one cue a deduction.
@@gymnasticsfan9495 Are you saying you know better than the judges the value of her performance? Seems presumptuous.
Google it.
She can't be a mere mortal.. I'm happy I don't know about scoring. I can really enjoy the performances more. These performing athletes are beyond amazing. All of them.
Gabby is the thumbnail? I’m confused lol
3:45 Anyone know the name of this song?
Sheer BRILLIANCE. What more can one say. She is one unbelievably incredible gymnast. Call a GOAT is an understatement. She is more than that ❤❤❤
Why in the world is there a picture of Gabby Douglas in the thumbnail?!?!? That's a seriously bad look for this channel, and I'll refrain from stating the implications. Please change to an image if Simone Biles as soon as possible.
Greatest of all time. Go girl!
Black is beauty she's looking splendid.
A color u can never get it from shop.
Well done dear
Yes very natural, you are very right
Vielen Dank für so ein wundervolles Video!
Why would anyone dislike this? Steups! She's amazing!
They are trolls who got nothing better to than Troll Simone.
Honestly I really admire Simone to keep going knowing that gymnast are capable of doing that really helps me
So surprised she hasn't landed a quad full twist yet. She's so deadly
“The ONLY one in the competition…” and people really think Suni would have beat her. 🤦🏾♀️
I really don't think Suni would have beat Simone period. I want to know which one of them stole Simone Biles routine.
Simone is so fun to watch, I'm so bummed she didn't compete. Suni wouldn't have beat her but I'm really glad got her time to shine, she's amazing too.
Sunni can't beat her. She found that out on beam.
hahaha guess what Sunni means in tamil
This is so mean. I dont think anyone thinks Suni would beat Simone, but this comment takes away from really powerful stuff Suni performed in the all rounds in Tokyo. She defo deserved that gold.
4 time Team Gold, 5 time World Champion on AA and Floor, plus several medals on Vault, Beam and Bars

I trying gymnastics because you inspired me
she is pure magic best gymnast ever. The floor routine was mesmerising
How exactly do you do this ma'am?
My body has some max bending radii in certain directions 😅
why is the thumbnail for this video Gabby Douglas 🤔
how many sacrifices and hours blood sweat and tears form students , trainers , parents , behind the scenes ppl - its incredible hats off to everyone who put in efforts to accomplish this kinda of perfection
Simply amazing. Congratz!
It’s when your body has too much power to execute the move correctly. Imagine having so much of a powerful force that you can go too high....(injury) too fast (Fumble) or spin to fast and hard that you can’t nail a landing.
This is super human strength packed in one tiny body.
They didn’t even use Simone in the thumbnail that’s Gabby Douglas that’s just rude
Happy for her, and happy she found the love of her life. Cheers for you Simone!
The way she stuck those landings! 🫨 I was like, “daaaaaaaaaaamn”!
