I am so excited. I’ve been feeding hummingbirds for years but never had more than just a few….until this years. I now have 10 feeders going and I’m going through 1/2 gallon per day. They are everywhere. I hear them singing and watch them fly from the trees to the feeders and back. So rewarding.
Gotta go fill my feeders, water my plants, and weed some. Zoe's little "peek-a-boo" face just make my evening. She is so cute. Your deck looks wonderful.
I cant believe how much you are growing on your deck. How do you keep up with all that plus your other gardens? I would feel overwhelmed. But it looks really nice love Zoe watching you. She is so cute!
I'm in Vermont and I can only dream about doing some of these things, but so enjoy the ideas, birds, and Zoe.

I propagated a bunch of vermillionaires a week ago, and so far, they look great. I would say that they are a very close cousin to your hummingbird lunch plants because they look just like them. They are an annual here, so I will do like I did last year and take them in the house for the winter. I also propagated some zinnias and petunias. They all took and are now planted. I plan propagating some jasmine. It smells so good. I enjoyed the deck tour and looking forward to your next video. Thank you!

Hi Robbie, I'm living vicariously through you. I live near Palm Springs and our temperatures here have ranged between 113-124 for the last three weeks for day time temps. I had so many lovely plants going, but the heat has just cooked them. Lost my traveler tomato plants, zucchini, carrots, my walking onions and several geraniums. All that's left are four pepper plants and one basil. I use totes and containers on the patio and kept the patio fan, misting system and even use the windshield sun screens you suggested, just too hot!!!! I love watching you grow so many things easily.

I noticed the leaves on my tomato plants are yellowing. Upon researching, I read that it could be from over watering. Considering it's been raining for days and this area is flooded, that is most likely the cause. I remembered the "baby formula " idea and had picked some up on clearance two months ago. Hopefully, that will help?
What happened to your tomato reisetomate Traveler tomatoes? I have a couple that are starting to produce (4 fruits which are still green but looking good) and a lot of blooms. Hopefully you won't say they don't taste good.

How do you estimate thousands of hummingbirds? How do you distinguish them? All we cam see what you show us is maybe 20 at a time.
My zucchini, 3 inches long n rotting. So sad.
Try hand pollinating them.
