How about doubling your chair garden? Just back to back chairs in the horseshoe shape? You have your plants within reach from the inside just add a layer you can reach from the outside. Great for watering!

Sounds like a really good plan, Robbie. A gardening friend told me about you a few months ago, and I watched everything you've posted for the last year. Now I'm watching the rest of your videos from oldest to newest. It WAS 6 years ago when you did the 'woodchip nightmare' videos. 😊

Great ideas. I agree. Make things EASIER on you both. Wish I could send a photo. I have my chair garden up and growing. I have peppers , Turmeric, Ginger, Eggplant, Basal, Oregano and Mint. I have a compost floral bucket in each tote and drains and buckets underneath each one. I have tulle around the whole thing. I had an eggplant flower, but it disappeared. Hmmm. Maybe I need tulle on the top. I got hose but hadn't put it up yet.😊 I just love this system. I'm 69 and it really helps! Thank you again!🎉

You could run a dripper irrigation line along the driveway on a timer, so no work required.
But yes allowing access for Gary's woodchips is a good move, I would like to see more truck loads delivered.

Lol at Gary reading his script 😂!! Just throwing it out there that I was thinking of those elevated lettuce containers going into the kennel area - you can fit a lot in limited space and keep the critters at bay.
Hope you’re healing nicely 👀 👍🏼. Thanks for the updates!

Dear Robbie, It would be ever so eye catching to spread your GERANIUMS hither and yon along the wall. The color would pop and if wondering tendrils got run over so be it, for we know they will grow back. Thank you.

Thank you Robbie for all you have given. My garden is wonderful thanks to you. I used the food stuffs as you do but the wildlife helped itself to my buried goods so I decided to grind everything down, I bury the mush in dirt that I keep in a wheelbarrow. I then use the dirt as needed. Now the critters are gone my yard is quite ,my worms are happy my plants are happier and I am happiest. I did noticed that you have an almost weed free yard and I’m wondering how you maintain it so? Thank you for your show. Helen 😊

That video clip was one of the 1st videos I saw of yours Robbie. Your chair garden truly inspired me to get started growing.
I found several plastic chairs like yours, some wooden & metal chairs in my neighborhood treasure-trash. After my 1st year (4 yrs ago) I got rid of the wooden chairs but kept the others. I have added more treasures of dishwashers. Removing all the racks & motor and covering in the motor hole with 2 layers of tote lids & zip ties. 3 yrs now it has been my Sweet Potato bin. With bountiful harvests every New year!🎉 [yeah they take a few months to grow!]
    Keep on keeping on!
My thots for that forever wall...
Go get some more paint samples, or buy the larger "OOPS" Cans of paints, (you know those colors people want to match something already established and it doesn't match. Oops gotta try again...) but use those artistic genes you have & create a wall of art. I can see your hummers, your finches, tributes to your past pets. Only watering needed will be an occasional rinse off from splatters of mud during your rainy season.
Don't forget to paint what you grow too 😊

Sounds like a plan to me. It never hurts to make life easier for ya.
The squirrels here have reaked havoc on my tomato plants, so I put tulle around my whole garden using buckets and 4 foot stakes. I think the squirrels were watching me and laughing lol. About 2 hours after I finished, I watched one climb the tulle and another jump about midway up the tulle and then climb the rest of the way up it. No one has told them that they are supposed to be afraid of it 😂😂😂.
I hope your eyes are healing ❤😊😊❤

Funny skit. I think it will make it so much easier to manage. As we all get older, it gets harder to manage having things so spread out. I know some things like the warmth of the wall in winter but those you can leave. Smart move.

You can use those totes on the wall and make another chair garden next to the one you have. Or use totes and vining plants in the new arbor . You probably have enough vining plants already established to put in arbor.
