    I'm pretty sure I'll have to go with the et800. I have a 75lb catahoula pit mix that is STRONG, wants to eat bunnies and doesn't like people walking in the same area as us. He is very scared and protective of me but has a bark that wouldn't make you think that.

    Thank you so much for this video it has really helped me. I have a 53 lb English shepherd who does well with basic obedience but can be highly reactive to other dogs, deer, motorcycles And when riding in the car will try to attack the windshield wipers if we run them. Do you think the mini educator would work or do you think we would need et-800? Also, if we get the mini educator is it pretty easy to add that second receiver on to the the same remote? Does the remote function the same way even when adding a second receiver? Thanks again!

    Good info. Thank you. What system would you recommend for hiking and trail running with my dog. She's a 34-lb border collie mix. Does really good with the recall, most of the time, but goes crazy for squirrels. I'm concerned about her getting too far away and there are coyotes around.

      Hey, likely for that size I’d go with a mini Educator collar. She will likely respond to a fairly fixed set of numbers so you may consider the FT330 finger button remote system. Check out doggettstyle.com if you are looking for an online program to help you teach her correctly 🤘❤️🐶

    This video is AWESOME. I've been looking into the brand of collar for a while now and could not find all the information I needed to know before purchasing one. This video checked all most all the boxes for me and more. I think the only questions you didn't answer for me is if, when using the comfort pads, can you replace the contact points on them or not. And knowing that I could add an additional receiver is great. Now, if you can tell me at what age large breed puppy can start using one, I'll be all set. Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video. I'm sure it will help others as well.

    I purchased your e-collar course and was hoping for more flexibility with options for Canada. Any comparable suggestions to this company?

    So for the 2T remotes. This is actually why I chose the educator. My wife and I have two dogs and tend to travel a lot. Generally one dog goes with each of us. This gives us the ability to both have a remote for both dogs. Using the EZ, my dog is black, hers is red. That lets the dogs float between us and we both have control over both of them. If I'm in the RV, she has her remote for both and vice-versa.
    We chose the EZ remote for the ability to customize otherwise. I like having C on the side, C+ on the front. My wife likes C front, C+ on the side.

      Hey sorry for the delay but THANK YOU for sharing your Exp with the 2T remotes! I just ordered one for a client who leaves for the day and sometimes the dog tries to follow him with his wife is inside. Problem solved. Thanks for watching!

    is it possible to extend the range on the ez902? buying a longer antenna, etc?

      Yes I believe it is. But do you really need more than 1/2 mile range?! Sometimes in the hills/valleys it's better to have an ext antenna

    Can you tell me, is the collar training usually something that's gradually faded out once the desired behaviour levels are reached or is an ongoing thing?

    • @doggettstyledogtraining
      @doggettstyledogtraining  7 месяцев назад

      The goal is to fade out but that depends on the dog / how much training the person is willing to to do

    What Ecollar would you recommend for someone who is visually impaired and can’t see the screen?

      Interesting question I’ve not thought of! On first thought I’d want something that has a click dial to change the levels but that often means there aren’t many levels (sportdog).
      If the dog was trained for that person and got to the point where it was just backup I might get the FOB unit so they could just wear the ring control and toggle between working level and corrective. I’d need to know more and do lots of research of what’s available
