    Great vid man, training with the e - collar has made outings with my pup so much more enjoyable for me and my gsd mix. If he hears me getting that thing out of the drawer he starts wagging his tail and gets all excited. He knows we're about to have some fun.

    • @sarajleigh
      @sarajleigh 3 года назад +1

      You put an e collar on your pup?? Are you kidding me?
      Why don't you guys learn clicker training? That's the best way of dog training, the e collar is pure abuse. It's even illegal in my country and about all over the world, only in the US and some other countries it's legal. But the reason why it's illegal is, cuz it hurts the dog, the dog gets fear and that's why he stops the behavior. But what you do long term is actually ruining your relationship with your dog cuz he's gonna loose his trust in you and the dog can resent you for that after some time and stop listening to you even with the ecollar on and then, the only thing you're gonna do is abusing him and not teaching him anything.
      Start training with a clicker, i could send you some videos but please try out real clicker training, you can train everything AND you're just making the relationship better between you and your dog. And not hurting him or anything else! Please try it at least, stop using ecollars, choke and prong collars, they are so unnecessary and you just don't need them, you can train everything without abusing your dog and making him fearful and hurting..

    I have a GS/husky in service training, my trainer recommended & I bought the ET-300ZEN. My question to anyone is clarification of the timing for vibration: does it change from administering it PRIOR to recall command at start of training then allowing the dog to come on verbal cue with vibration ONLY AFTER the dog doesn't come? I was told you want to provide the dog the opportunity to make the correct choice to COME without having to be "corrected" if that make sense. (I may be jumping ahead of our formal e-collar training starting later this week, thus watching the videos.) Mahalo for any clarification.

    of course is a balance relationship!!! no all is correction, not all is regard. If you want that balance you need experience and sensitibity, and is for that two reasons you need a profesional dog trainer with you to tell you things clearly, guided and adapted to YOUR DOG!!!

    Hi Haz, I love your videos but I am trying this with an e collar and a long line, and I am finding that the leash always gets fumbled and my dog always gets distracted and goes somewhere else in the middle of the recall. How do I fix this and also the leash seems so intrusive in all of this. Isn't the point of this to do it off leash? Is there a way I can do this without using a long line and just the e collar pressure? My dog is a GSD puppy by the way. Thanks for the great videos

    Great video sir. Did you use the collar wings on your husky since he has a lot of hair?

    Great video! Question, do you have the ecollar set to "momentary"? I'm assuming so. Thanks!
