so far I've found one of the new two handed swords it's a legendary "great sword" with 140 damage and +attack power. I'm able to use it with one or two hands, not sure if using it with two makes attacks any stronger. when using both hands, it feels like I'm wielding a lightsaber, pretty cool and rewarding, but will take some getting used to.
That's awesome, I just found my first longsword too! Idk about extra damage with 2 hands, but you can ragdoll knockback with 2 hands and can't with 1. I haven't gotten the chance to use it much, but I'm excited 😁
How do you record nicely in quest 3? 😅 I attempted to record some footage, but there is a big chuck of view on the bottom got cut off. It looked like I was looking upwards the whole time, but I wasn’t.
I plan to make a tutorial video for that because the process is stupidly complex. Basically you need to cast to your computer using the Meta Quest Developer Hub cinematic mode and record from the computer, but it doesn't record audio, so you need to record that separately.
@@jjbonta would it work if I also record it in the headset for the audio? Then separate the audio file and merge it with the video recording from Developer Hub cinematic mode?
I don't think so because even though you are starting the developer hub recording from your computer, the actual recording is happening on the headset. You could try screen recording the casting on your computer while recording on your headset, but I'm not sure that would work as well.
@@jjbonta haha yeah. that was silly. Tried it. Casting paused as soon as the headset recording started. I kinda worked it out tho. Casting + OBS (application video + application audio + bluetooth mic audio). Would still love to see your tutorial video!

@@jjbonta Definitely would I tried to log into the developer hub, but it’s currently bugged and is stuck on continue with browser even after I confirm my account making me go… crazy 🤪 (Edit) I was able to login by running the app as administrator 🤦🏻♂️
My first reaction to one was a little twitch. You didn't miss much lol, but I'm sure there will be plenty of people that get freaked out no matter how many time they see it. It's definitely a fun jump scare, maybe I'll get caught lowering my guard in a future video 😆
@@Apeirox_8 Too much collisions tend to glitch out melee weapons, especially the longsword. Not sure if that's at all related, but I'd recommend making a video of it and adding it as a game support thread on the DoE discord.

Honestly all the potions are crazy strong especially when used correctly.

Anyone else disappointed by the long sword physics? I want to 2 hand it but it only goes in certain directions and never where my hands direct it.
There was an update yesterday that supposedly fixed that issue. Have you tried it yet?
