About getting webbed, one strategy (that you may already know) is that if you're close enough to the big spiders, they won't shoot at you. That said, I typically charge at them and prioritize killing them up close. edit: a few minutes after typing this, I saw where those two big spiders killed you and it looked like one of them may have tried to web you even when you were close. guess I'll have to do some testing to get the facts.

It's more of a groundsword. I ALWAYS get it knocked out of my hands.. I notice it a lot more after the last update. Also, for content, maybe do a 'new character' run through where you show what dungeons you run and the loot you get/keep as you level up. That's the kind of thing I'm watching for, but maybe it's just me?

Enjoying the videos but got a question about how you stream native quest games? Each time I try I get stutters every so often and cant get the mic to carry through.

I bet a gravity staff or a knock ack perk with shield would do pretty good in this tournament to make it harder to tag the npcs

I think the normal bow needs a multi simultaneously shot to balance with the crossbow.

Yeah so I have been doing HEMA for around 4 years mostly longsword and I got to say in this game, they feel awful, really slow and awkward and you mention a few times how small it is in game…yeah it’s tiny. I think they need to go back the drawing board on this one.

I personallu find that the long swords are very rigid. I cant even break boxeo in the vorund while 2 handing them! Am I doing something wrong? By the way, your are amazing at the game!

I’m pretty sure there is in-game left and right controller swap options in DOE. It’s the one right below locomotion settings where you can change to teleport.

I just played a game with RoyalRush and he's insane. Insta killing all mobs and his bow is faster than my 6 shot ballista. somehow always moves like he's got haste potion on. Nuts.

I just wish they added different sounds for when you hit different enemies, everything sounds like you're hitting stone and it breaks the immersion

Love it, you’re awesome for doing this, the only criticism i could have that would make this a little better is maybe say “i guess” much less or not at all. Or just be more direct and not trip over words as much. When we are in the flow of learning the details it kind of feels like being stuck in quicksand and kind of slowly getting through the points. Really i think the main thing is to try to get past the “i guess” habit. I hope you don’t take that personally i know it’s easier said than done because you’re just trying to be natural. Again only trying to be constructive and i love that you’re making these videos 🙏🙏🙏

Good games! Both defenders are awesome players. It's much more satisfying to watch them going for the kills than waiting out the enemies to kill you. Love their skills and attitude approaching the competition. Nicely done, all of you! xD

Ohhhh thank you, JJ! This comes just in time! I finally worked out how to record game audio and mic, but the video is being funny now! I have noticed that the frame rate in MQDH has something to do with how I play the game. It may have worked when I set it to auto before. But last night, I was trying different things, I set it to max 30. The video came out looks like it’s lagging the whole time. I was freaking out a lot in that run tho. I was turning and looking up and down all the time. With the same settings, if I were more chill, it wouldn’t have been like that, I reckon. In my video from last night, I can see that I took my arrow out on the bow, then the enemies just die with an arrow in their head. It didn’t have the frames where the arrow was shooting out. But the native recording in the headset with 30 frame rate seems to not having the same issue. I’m going to try the same settings as you showed in the video here. 🤞🤞🤞 It’s such a pain! Come on Meta, make it simple. 😂

I absolutely love that room! The enemies appear at a nice, quick pace in there. I'm naturally right-handed, but I've mastered wielding the staff with my left hand. It really adds to the excitement of the battles, especially in the regular Souls games!

They could have taken the tagging Staff from you from the beginning , holding it and killing everything, which doesn’t allow you to tag any?

I use teleport all the time! I love teleport. It’s easy to escape and run. 😆 it’s not cheating! I am thinking maybe start trying continuous to not get sick. Dodging attack seems to be much easier in continuous mode.
