@@poppers7317 As a player yeah, but if the developers did that as a feature the game sadly would have bad sales. That's what I meant with "ruining the game", people these days are kinda sensitive and wouldn't take it well unfortunately.
This game was showcased to be in development around the time Oculus released their first headset. Been waiting for news on it but I don’t know if it’ll ever been like the anime, not unless they further advance the tech of the vr.
Dude, i CANT WAIT until they get a FULLY realized SAO game in VR. And in know its probably too much to ask for, but i REALLY wish that they could get a REAL deep dive headset to work before the day i die. Because even if im like 90 something years old by then, i would die happy inside SAO....LOL.
Any REAL fan of the show would know that if you want to make the world of Aincrad and Sword Art Online genuine, you need to make the world fully immersive, FULLY. You can't just make it like a normal VR game, it needs to feel like your consciousness is actually inside of the world, almost like you're in an alternate reality because of the realism of the matter. Free movement, your fingers look the same, your feet look the same, your face looks the same and not some pre-set VR avatar that you're logged in with. Not only that, but you're also going to have to add the in-game death factor, and I think I know how to make it legal. If any of you know McKamey Manor, it's a haunted house that puts you through SEVERE psychological and physical torture for 10 hours, and if you withstand it all, you win $20,000, but no one has ever beat it. Sounds illegal, doesn't it? They make you sign a contract for your consent to take part in the challenge, so any injuries are not held against them. The same can be done for Sword Art Online, you sign a contract before you buy the NerveGear and Sword Art Online, signing that they are not liable for any death. This is just what needs to happen, emphasis on need, if someone actually wants to make Sword Art Online real
Commentary is more attractive than the game itself, I searched this game on Chinese website, found it is hyped, as a developer as well, the game needs unique feature! I feel the creators just piece a couple of common game functions together to make up a game that demands fan's interest, rather than making an interesting game that appeals ordinary people, obviously this game is a demo at most, and still needs more updates!
I played this and pretended to know what I was doing, doing flips and crazy spin sword moves and it worked out beautifully, try moving and attacking with fluent steps and flourishing movement instead of viewing it as just a VR game. My motto is pretend to know how to do something until you truly can do it.
Sword Art Online is one of the few anime concepts that could actually become a reality and every year we see progress in this happening, if one day someone actually makes a SAO that you get stuck in I would be one of the crazy ones to play even knowing the result lol
When i saw SAO i thought this would be so cool if it was real, but there's no way this is happening. Now i'm watching this and I'm like THE FUTURE IS NOW! Absolutely insane how far VR has come. The boss room lit up was mesmerizing. And today i learned how to trap people in a game - put the log out option in chinese XD Pretty sure Toast had to physically remove the headset xD
Isekai has certainly become my favorite anime genre. SAO is a big fav of mine, I'm super excited that they've returned to Aincrad with the recent movies. Should have been a full season or two instead of just half. The rest is great, but I just want more.

@@urtoryu_dy_althraidn you could attach a bomb to the device that explodes when you die in the game so you also die in real life.
@@poppers7317 As a player yeah, but if the developers did that as a feature the game sadly would have bad sales.
That's what I meant with "ruining the game", people these days are kinda sensitive and wouldn't take it well unfortunately.
I can't find the log out button: A TRUE SAO EXPERIENCE
I agree SAO is fucking fire and this VR did pretty well
This game was showcased to be in development around the time Oculus released their first headset.
“Controversial scenes”, my brother in Christ they were rape scenes 💀
When was there rape scenes in SAO?
@@cornervillain838 look it up. I’m not lying
they were "attempted rape" scenes
This is basically dream come true for SAO Fan and if this thing fully develop I’m 100% all in bro.
My motto is pretend to know how to do something until you truly can do it.
how downlading this game ?
The way you slid that sword in that big door’s crack had me feeling some kinda way
oh my god YOU'RE ALIVE!
@@AwakenToast the thought of going 6 deep brought me back from 6 under
@@Tugmabawls It's like the Batman Signal anytime there's a booty call
@@AwakenToast the Nega chin signal
if this is legit I'm selling my car, buying a VR set and dying from hunger playing this
Sword Art Online is one of the few anime concepts that could actually become a reality and every year we see progress in this happening, if one day someone actually makes a SAO that you get stuck in I would be one of the crazy ones to play even knowing the result lol
I’ve actually been following this project since it started, I’m so excited!! Can’t wait for full release. 😊
Do you have any clue of a date?
What a name of this project bro? Diacord, website?
When i saw SAO i thought this would be so cool if it was real, but there's no way this is happening. Now i'm watching this and I'm like THE FUTURE IS NOW! Absolutely insane how far VR has come. The boss room lit up was mesmerizing.
And today i learned how to trap people in a game - put the log out option in chinese XD Pretty sure Toast had to physically remove the headset xD
I think if he was using an Oculus, I think worst case scenario, you can just press the home button, hold it down to quit the game.
duel wield skill unlocked
How can you describe yourself as a hardcore SAO fan and not know how to pronounce Asuna?
That's how it looks in eng man, who cares about Chinese anyway
@@elcetric It's japanese
@@Stephanthecuteblondie2567 china Japan same thing. Chiggas.
Dame incredibly beautiful SAO VR game would be really cool if this was released as a big mmo VR game a dream come true
Even if we don't get the full immersion SHIT HITS HARD. The boss room bone chilling like WTF, it's AWESOME.
this is amazing, I am willing to spend any amount for a true SAO experience
Looks so realistic
how has nobody found you yet
in some years SAO will actually be reality, hopefully i’ll still be around to experience it at least once
VR games should add some sort of image stabilization as we have it built into our bodies and the shaky image limits how real it feels.
Isekai has certainly become my favorite anime genre. SAO is a big fav of mine, I'm super excited that they've returned to Aincrad with the recent movies. Should have been a full season or two instead of just half. The rest is great, but I just want more.
Season 1 was the best but Kirito mad with determination makes the series
How could I not like the video hearing your genuine happiness? Giggled at the "I won't be able to log out" reference with the original >< !
This is awesome I want a vr headset now
First time viewer and I can't get over how enthusiastic this guy is. I was waiting for him to say something like "that grass is amazing!" because seemingly everything is amazing.
Hopefully this game doesn’t get taken down due to copyright stuff
If it ever goes public, it prob will.
That whole thing is beautiful, loved SAO and the graphics look amazing
The last words of this guy...
He is still in there...
Not really an SAO fan because of the story, but the world has always fascinated me and it's really cool seeing that translated into a VR game
I can’t even lie I’m the biggest Sao fan and this goes so hard the town of beginnings song is literally heavenly to my ears bro
Everyone gangster till the logout button disappears
Bro,i really hope they SOMEHOW Get the copyright, this is awesome,it looks just like its partly Finished. The biggest missing features are the item stuffs like trading and smth, AND the npc, like traders and enemies. Its incredible...
As a sao fan I approve this
SAO ALL THE WAYYY
Looks great man! will be keeping an eye out for this one.
heck yea dude, be sure to check out their discord and hear about updates!
@@AwakenToast For sure mate, would love to see this one take off!

ooooohh my God, that a wish come true, SAO its my favorite anime too and i allways dreamed to play this anime in VR, i hope this game is developed properly and get launched to the market, this was insane, i enjoy this gameplay as allmost when i saw the first chapter of the anime. thank you for this
This made my day, the whole concept for 2012 is ahead of its time. Imagine one day recreating Aincrad
I’ve been waiting for a game like this
it'll be a shame tho as they'll have to re-adapt it unless they get licensing
9:53 is so lore accurate, it's amazing
It's not Chinese. It's Japanese!
Not being able to find the log out button 🙃
I am such a HUGE SAO fan and this is insane! Even though it is a work in progress, I would do anything to get this. This VR game has so much potential! All we need now is a Full Dive Headset! Also, where is the game available?
Where is this avalaible?
i was smiling the whole duration watching this video
i love SAO so much, been a fan for maybe like 6 years
now they make it put your brain into the game, lock the headset, and kill you on death for the full experience
Looks unreal wow
dude I couldn't believe it when I first saw it, I thought it was that demo I saw YEARS ago
So it's a year later now. Is there any way for us to get it?
this feels too real
This is literally the only game i would buy VR for.
Every time he called it a Chinese game instead of a Japanese game, a child's ballon escaped their grasp.
Seems like a CN person developed it from the hanzi. I don't think a JP developer would take the time to add Chinese as a language option this early in development, seeing as English hasn't even been added in yet.
