Disagree. This controller is actually fairly well liked on r/Controller This controller isn't too new, and the general consensus of this controller matches his overall opinions. This is actually a pretty great controller, it works great. Though the controller fails when it comes to being overclocked, having a cheap feel to it, and the body just feeling weak. People have tried to get QRD to listen, though they act like a kid with their fingers in their ears sticking their tongue out at you when you try to give them any form of feedback.
I still stick with my Flydigi Apex 2. I prefer the many extra buttons (11 in total not counting the "action wheel") over a better gyro, though I'm also not a competitive gamer :P Granted for the full effectiveness, you also need to purchase a license for ReWASD as the base Flydigi software is bare-bones, so that amps up the price by itself.
Hey flickstick as far as wireless controllers with gyro what would you suggest? Right now I've been looking at the flydigi apex 4 or 8bitdo ultimate bluetooth since they updated the 2.4ghz dongle to work in either switch or non-switch mode. I don't believe the ps5 controller has a dongle right?
@FlickStickVids got a bluetooth dongle and tried it with virtualhere to my suprise there were no issues. Tested out gyro, stick and trackpad using myself and SO whose never played a shooter. She scored highest with gyro.
Yes, but it could be better. You can't go wrong with any first party controller. Those ones being the DualSense, Switch Pro Controller and the DualShock4
Just to make sure I understand correctly, are you saying that on a non-Steam game with no native DS4 support (like an old EA game on the EA launcher), this will be detected and work automatically as an Xbox controller?
They are different APIs, tools for developers that make it easier to add controller support for their games. For the player, there's no difference between D-input and X-input, but under the hood X-input has more features. This controller (and most other third party controllers), allow you to change between X and D for compatibility, so don't worry about it.
@@FlickStickVids hey thanks so much for the reply man , do you have a controller recommendation where the gyro doesn’t feel delayed when your aiming and shooting ? I can’t seem to get it to feel right ? Also is there any medium ground flick stick feels so weird for me so Iv been using right stick mouse but that I believe with drift is effecting the gyro
@TheOneGhost12 any first party controller will work well, but the DualSense will work even better. I think the middle ground between flickstick and gyro+sticks is just gyro+sticks with higher sensitivity or gyro ratcheting. If you are experiencing drift, flickstick won't work correctly, you can increase the deadzones if you want to use gyro+sticks.
I just got the Blitz2 and it's the best gyro I have ever used
Mans is this 🤏 close to calling this controller straight garbage but aint tryna ruin a sponsorship lol

Sucks you cant use ReWASD and COD regardless of x's opinion of COD.

Ps5 controller doesn't need a dongle. Just the controller and a USB or Bluetooth connection. You can't go wrong with one.

Not automatically, you will need to change to D-input mode, but that can be done with a simple button combination on the controller.
@@FlickStickVids that's confusing - so you need to change to d-input mode to get games to see it as an Xbox controller? That seems backwards.
@christopherbohling5719 well, this is a ps4 controller after all. It's very common for multi platform controllers to behave like this.
Way confused it only works on x input mode ? What is that can you explain?
