If you turn your phone volume up to Max, then you won't have to adjust your radio louder when switching from radio.. this radio is pretty damned loud too!
The only problem is these dont have AM Radio, just FM Radio. In the place i live in Calgary Canada, most of the news channels are broadcasted in AM Radio. Not FM.
Do you know how to do the updates everytime I press the update button it does nothing I emailed them but no response yet it does work great for a cheap radio just don’t know how to do the update been looking online on how to but don’t see anything about it

I’m not sure since I haven’t had a chance to test the sd card but have you tried listing the songs on separate files on the sd card? Just a thought. Maybe that will work.

Honestly it’s just very cheap, has back up camera and Bluetooth capable for hooking up music from your phone to your car. Also as the option to boost audio sound. Really, it’s just a cheap overall unit that if you just want to Bluetooth your music. It does the job. Another plus is being able to completely turn off the screen and still have the stereo working, Helps me with driving at night cause then i won’t have glare from the illumination of the screen reflected off my glasses.
I have a similar 7023-C. Works great at vehicle stop. When move vehicle forward slowly, audio acts like very very short intermittant signal loss so song is choppy. Stop vehicle, perfectly clear again. Have tried 3 Vehicles with same results. Any thoughts on correction?
my guess is it could be a manufacture defect inside the stereo itself. These things are mass produce so im sure quality control can get overlooked sometimes. see if the seller you bought it from is willing to exchange it for you for another unit.
There’s a switch wire and a constant 12v wire for the stereo. You probably mistaken swap those wires around and it’s constantly pulling from the car battery and stays on.

Bright Kubi iPhone only works being plugged in through the USB port. Or at least on mine it works with the USB port. Only some apps work for mirroring.
U can try plugging into the usb and connect to your phone. But from what I found out, if you have a newer phone and the unit you have is an older one. Sometimes it won’t allow to mirror.
@@Cgjrockshotz it shouldve came as one whole unit in one piece. unless you are referring to the bezel/trim that goes around the unit in the front. You can type in on ebay under "double din Bezel trim" im sure something should pop up.

SonnyTheGreat could be possibly that they connected the 12v switch wire to constant 12v wire instead. I believe the 12v switch is red color and the 12v constant is yellow

I just installed this yesterday and I have an issue where it does not have sound every time I start the car and I have to actually take it out, unplug and plug back in the sound harness to get back the sound. Not sure if you would have any advice, fix or tip for this. TIA!
Jasper Tan in that case I would just double check the wires making sure there’s connected well and checking the wires connected to the speakers. Other than that, it could be a defect of the stereo at which point I would just contact the seller and ask for a replacement.

Like try hooking up the 12v line and the “switch” to constant 12v, the ground to ground, connect the antenna plug in and connect one of the speaker wires just to test it out. If that doesn’t work, it’s probably the unit itself. These units are mass produced so I imagine the quality control on isn’t 100% all the time.

Although I don’t have this exact unit, I have one identical currently in my daily car. So far no issues and it has to be at least 2-3 years so far. Haven’t had any issues with it. Hope that helps
@Projects By J I talked to tech support about this. He said the Android phones ( newer model) have to have developer mode and USB debugging on. He said the phones wifi will update the head unit to mate with Android 13( my OS) I'll let you know.
What did you do with the green wire? The instructions list it as the same as the pink wire for the reverse camera, so I'm assuming it goes for the video option?
The green wire is label (headlight illumination) so in other words it’s prob the dimmer cable for when u turn on your headlights, it dims down a bit. When I install it, I don’t think I had any wires left over. Everything on my car hooked up color to color. If u scroll through the video, towards the end I have a quick clip of the wiring diagram and what they all should connect to.
I’m very happy with the unit. For the price I’m not expecting too much since I originally bought it for Bluetooth capabilities and to use for a back up camera. But sound wise it’s nice, no difference from my original stereo.
Condor1970 if this version had the google play store to download the app but so far I haven’t had any luck with trying to get other apps on there. Someone who knows their stuff could probably hack It to make it work but then again there’s other units around the same price range that can allow u to install apps on there

FLORIS. There should be a signal wire from the camera that u just tap into your reverse light wire. So whenever u are in reverse, that signal wire will get power to your camera.

I have one similar to this one install in the car now. It’s in the other video but I like them. Cheap and Bluetooth connects (which was why I got it for) every time, back up camera works, plus I like the fact that I can make the screen turn completely black and the music still works. Helps with driving at night from having too much lights shining at you from inside the car.

These don't come with a input for the GPS antenna as some other models do, there is an upgrade, but phone link lets your android phone do the work and the headset mirror that audio and imagery

How to sort songs in folders on SD card ? Radio shows only names and it´s impossible to list through hundreds of songs .....

My screen is just on the start up the “HD MP5” how can you switch it out of that
It’s suppose to switch out of that automatically and go into your Home Screen. if it doesn’t then u might of gotten a faulty unit.

When I got mine, it came with a Velcro that the remote clips onto. It got in the way of me driving so I took it off.

Someone installed this in my Volkswagen... it seems to be wired correctly but the radio never turns off with the ignition... Does yours do that too?

How you putted the metal frame of the rádio ? Which position?
I just used the original brackets off the stock unit that came with the car. The holes should line up perfectly.
What is the longevity of this device?
Although I don’t have this exact unit, I have one identical currently in my daily car. So far no issues and it has to be at least 2-3 years so far. Haven’t had any issues with it. Hope that helps

I don’t have an android so I can’t tell you for sure but from what heard, these units can only mirror the older versions

Trish Pretty if it’s a dark screen and nothing is coming on even if your are pressing the power button, then u might have a faulty screen.
Unplug the battery terminal for a few seconds then turn it back on.

I’m very happy with the unit. For the price I’m not expecting too much since I originally bought it for Bluetooth capabilities and to use for a back up camera. But sound wise it’s nice, no difference from my original stereo.

Brett Robinson nope, it was literally plug in the usb to the USB port and the lightning side to the iPhone and it automatically mirrors it.

Jeff King no, it doesn’t have any slots for cds, I was able to get RUclips to come on with a usb cord on my iPhone.

iphone 7+ but for the iphone to work for mirroring, u have to plug into the usb port.

This was the cheapest on amazon at the time, if you just type the name and model number on through amazon, you should be able to find it. although now i think they're even cheaper now on there.
How is this holding up?
I have one similar to this one install in the car now. It’s in the other video but I like them. Cheap and Bluetooth connects (which was why I got it for) every time, back up camera works, plus I like the fact that I can make the screen turn completely black and the music still works. Helps with driving at night from having too much lights shining at you from inside the car.

Can you play videos while driving?
i cant say for android phones since i have an iphone but with the usb plug in and onto the iphone, i can mirror youtube to play but not netflix.

Haha. My bad, I thought of that but I realize different makes and model of cars would have different color wires and set up. But I will keep that in mind for next time I get a new stereo.

He isn't lying..Don't know what you mean but it works with and it was advertised as an Android unit...Wish,Amazon,Gearbest, banggood etc they all have that same unit just advertised different..it is compatible with Android thru the USB cable which in turn enables mirror link...
