Konosuba is a unique anime that parodies not just the isekai genre, but fantasy anime as a whole. Everything you expect is the opposite and it turns out that a seemingly perfect party of an adventurer, an arch wizard, arch priest, and crusader, is actually completely incompetent when put together. Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin and Darkness are all inherently flawed through their personalities which makes each of them completely useless on their own, but somehow as a team, despite messing up 99% of the time, the one percent of the time they can pull through makes it all worth while. Disfunctional doesn't mean completely worthless, and together they can make something amazing happen, even if it's only once in a blue moon.

HEEELOOOoo this video took longer than anticipated, we managed to get some other scripts wtitten in the meantime though, and obviously we've had some bad news with Miura San's passing. However Tyler finally got his new PC after his Died last month so we're back on track! I hope you enjoy this video, I had a lot of fun with it! Trash Break I applaud & approve. And those G-Fuel flavors they are banging! Faze Berry, Tropical Rain, & Black On Blackberry are my favorites. Need to get around to ordering the Spicy Demon'ade, Mega Potion, & The Juice if it comes back into stock. Generally I'd order 1-2 a month because I'd share with co-workers but since leaving to another job I'm the only one drinking it. I don't order more until got little less than halve a tub left. I haven't tried the Blue Rocket Pop but I'd be interested in trying it. Got to agree with Tyler on the Strawberry Lemonade though not so much with the Dragon Fruit. So ya think I'll get myself another couple tubs because I'm actually running low. I'll be sure to use code Bpop during my checkout.

The derpy trash-quality animation was an unusually a big part of the series' charm. Most of the screencaps I took were unintentionally funny. Absolutely loved this show, filled the gap in my heart when I heard "Baka To Test" wasn't getting another season.
Megumin brought Kazuma to the woods for her satisfying daily explosion, owner complained about the noise and mess. Kazuma and Megumin stopped going alone into the woods, so Megumin started bringing Aqua instead...
This video gave me a completely new perspective on that scene. Thanks!

Konosuba is basically "What if we turned a shitpost into an entire anime series", and it ended up being one of the most epic anime of all time.

Aqua mad at the tavern owner because she only get little money, Aqua then forced Kazuma to give her money to pay off the debt by teasing Kazuma.
The party found out that there wasn't any easy quest and i just love how Kazuma answer "yes I'm Kazuma"

Aqua who was fed up with debt begged Kazuma to take on any quests, and Kazuma almost accepted a difficult quest
Aqua was scared because she would be eaten by the crocodiles
Aqua traumatized but then she remembers she is a goddess because kyoya
Kazuma won a duel with kyoya using steal and threatens his party
And aqua punch kyoya because he broke the cage.

Clarification: Aqua put all of her skill points into party tricks *after* learning all of the Archpriest skills. Her stats (other than Intelligence and Luck, of course) are so OP that she literally has enough starting skill points that she can buy *all* Archpriest skills and still have some left over.
Aqua is so OP she can be any advanced class besides Mage (of course, you need Intelligence for that)
so she actually DOES have the power to do it, but is somehow too stupid to do it.

As someone who generally watches dark, thought provoking, or very violent anime, this show is still my favorite anime. A great show about horrible people
I love how they're all practically useless but always discover a way to defeat the generals. Kazuma does come up with a couple brilliant strategies. Which does come across as impressive when you really think about how little he's working with at the time.

Yesterday I started watching Outlaw Star with my daughter (she is loving it so far). As we watched the first few episodes I began thinking, “man, it’s been a bit since Bonsai Pop released a video”. And today, here we are. What a treat. Hope you guys are doing well, I love your work!

Konosuba means so much to me I honestly find it really difficult to properly put all of that into words but ill try. This anime is the best to watch when dealing with really terrible and difficult things in life. We are all very much aware that anime is often extremely serious and deep and sad and complicated which is what makes some of the best anime reach their heights. While I certainly cant say that Konosuba is objectively the best anime when comparing it to other greats, it doesn’t need to be. I know that Konosuba is definitely the best experience ive ever had watching anime and that’s what is so precious to me. If I find myself caught up in the pressure of a ton of different terrible things in life, Konosuba is a reminder that tells me that life doesnt have to be so serious and exhausting all the time, sometimes life is much more valuable and fulfilling when it is filled with idiotic silliness and shit talking with friends.

So like when I was a teenager i watched anime on Toonami and that was about it. I never went back. Then at the beginning of the pandemic I was like, ya know what, imma give this shit a try. I literally stumbled into Konosuba as like the 2nd anime I looked at. I had no idea how good anime could be. Holy shit I was cry laughing in my room at like 3AM at the dumbest shit. It literally changed my mind on what anime was in its entirety. I used to be a respectable man, and here I am less than a year later, a filthy degenerate weeb.

Kazuma is my favorite type of anime mc, the male mc tsundere. Kazuma says one thing, and due to his above average charisma it comes off as genuine, but then his actions completely contradict this. But whenever he has the opportunity to flirt with leaving this life that he hates so much, he jumps right back in. The ending of the light novel really does solidify this.

Hell yes love this new series y’all got going on. I also love Konosuba. It’s fkn hilarious, it truly reminds me of an anime It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. From the money making scenes to putting themselves in bad situations, a group of terrible people that bring one another down. It’s so good, its always sunny my fave comedy in general.
Tbh this is one of the few times where the English dub held it’s own

One of the things that makes Konosuba so good, is that it's an Isekai anime that parodies Isekai animes. Basically it's a parody of itself, kinda. I wouldn't call it trash at all. Konosuba has good animation, good writing, good jokes, and good characters and story (parting from the base that it's an Isekai, and more that it's a parody of that genre, if you know what I mean). It's a very good anime, and one of the best of it's genre. I mean, I've seen people who usually don't like Isekais for being almost all of them very cliché and all that stuff, but they like Konosuba a lot, even as one of their favourites animes/comedy animes.

I almost dropped it on ep1bc I thought it's too generic but thankfully continued to watch past ep3 and it started getting very good
I never regretted it, it's one of the rare animes that get better and better with each episode
Much like OPM first season. Second one was trying too hard to become what the first season mocked. While I almost collapsed laughing while watching the first, I only got a few chuckles during the second. And while most viewers lack braincells, so they mostly bitch about animation quality, I mourn the writing change a helluva lot more. Oh yeah and the utterly tarded antagonist who basically boils down to, I hate heroes because they don't let monsters kill everyone and destroy everything. "Monsters have dreams too." Is what a mentally challenged 5 year old might come up with. Sadly most of the fanbase seems to fit into that category as well, since they adore Garou.

Although I read somewhere, that it's probably about Megumin, before she joined up with the gang and I'd much prefer if the story continued. If you mean OPM season 3, then I am not really hopeful, since what I disliked, was the writing, in season2 and I doubt, that it'll move back towards season1 goodness. Much more likely to continue to decline.

this is the only anime that can make me laugh out loud even if there is no sound, i noticed that watching this video. Got a bit distracted and stopped listening to the video but I was still watching. Seeing the animations and especially facial expressions made me laugh out loud twice and i never had that before
