I had a satin border around one of my prototypes but to me keeping the edge raw makes it more like an actual card. The satin border makes it thicker and its odd when you pit it in a pile with other business cards. Mine it falla right in place and can easily fit into your wallet like a traditional business card. The g ear part is that you can put a satin border on yours. You don’t have to do what I did. Do it your way in a way the suits you and make it your own so it accomplishes what you want it to do.
Oh, thank you for the reminder to make business cards for my business....LOL Been saying I am going to make them for about 2 years now....yup totally can relate. Going to make sublimation phone cloth business cards.....any ideas?
Great CONTENT ! ! I think the “ QR Code “ is the NEW business card with the amount of INFORMATION available IN the code vs ON the card …. a business card PATCH ??
The truth about qr codes though is it will still never totally replace a standard business cards with plain english that anyone that can read can understand in an instant. You need a device to read a qr code so even from a marketing perspective plain text is better because you get the message across instantly. There is however a right time for qr codes but it’s not an either or thing. Use qr codes when needed but the human brain cant read the information from a qr code. It wont replace business cards any time soon.
Love your video. I am an embroiderer but just for fun. I also quilt. Great idea. New subcriber!! I like to cut a triangle and embroider on half with my info. Then i fold it and sew it on the corner of my quilt before binding. Id like to know the label you are creating is it just cotton fabric? Are there layers of other fabric? Would like to know how you made it.
@@adubbproductionsSorry I edited this after you commented. The label looks so good. I'd like to make that and sew it on my creations. I also make zipper Bags, purses, etc.

Indeed.
I love the way your cards came out, Suggestion, why don't you put a satin border around it.

That is an excellent idea and it fits seamlessly with the quilt.

Tell us how you made it so stiff
Two layers of cut away stabilizer and extra density on the tatami stitch.
