Another suggestion for an unusual embroidery project is coffin inserts. Specialized but rewarding when you can help a family through a challenging time.
great 💡 idea ❤
Great video Kayla!
Great information
Thanks for this video ❤
You're welcome! ❤️
thanks... very informative video.
Love this video! I’m finishing up our local little league hat order, and I realized I am not a big order girl. 😂😂 I’ve done several big orders in the past, but this one completely overwhelmed me.
Oh wow! How many hats are in the order?
@@KaylaKrische Only around 25-30, but there were almost 300 items total between the hats and DTF on tshirts, long sleeves, crewnecks, hoodies, and sweatpants. Its been a long week 😂
👏👏👏🙋♀️Love your content!
Thank you! ❤
Love your channel, you are inspiring me to take my business more seriously and hopefully make it a success. Are you happy with your Ricoma? How user friendly is it?
Thank you Jess! That means so much to me. I love my Ricomas, but I also have nothing to compare them to. I've never had another brand of multineedle so take that into account. I went from a single needle PE800 to a 10 needle and it was fairly easy to learn! Everything has a learning curve but if I was able to figure it out quickly, anyone can!
Great information I have a ricoma 15 needles I don't know were to start from and I don't know how to digital I live in Nigeria
Kayla... I just found you today and loved your video. Looking for to more videos. Thank you for this List. Do you have any specific tools you use to help drive down even further into these niche's. I just heard about everbee, but it is a little pricey. Thanks!!!
Thank you for all these ideas. How do you become a wholesale or a contract embroider? I would love to do that and the school embroider.
To be a contract embroiderer your really have to structure yourself well. You're going to need multiple multi-heads because you're looking at massive, high volume orders. I don't know the exact logistics and ways to do it, but all the ones I've seen have like 20 12 head machines. It's crazy but so cool!
Hi, I am looking for a great digitizer. Can I ask who you use? I have not found one yet. Appreciate your video. It is very helpful!
Hi! Thanks for watching! I use Dream Digitizing :)
Thank you for all this great ideas!!
You're welcome Minerva! ❤️
What embroidery machine I can use for the dog sweater image?
😊
Funny you should mention the sashes . A lady just contacted me about making some.
I've seen a lot of people do them with HTV instead of embroidery to avoid puckering. You can always go that route! If you embroider, I used a 65/9 needle and sprayed the sash to the stabilizer so it didn't slide around on top of it while it was stitching. I also stitched at like 500 stitches per minute lol. I was terrified I was going to mess it up but it turned out great! I'm glad I had practiced on one from Amazon first.
Hiii❤how can I market myself? I have no idea😊
There's many ways! It depends on what your business is also. Are you online only? Do you sell in your local community? I have this video that perhaps will help! ruclips.net/video/3juAa8bnSmE/видео.htmlsi=N1zDWdISjRrLum23
I have a question for you, Kayla: How do you charge when the customer provides you with the blanks? Thanks for all the info.
Most won't take a customer's blanks, since you can't throw away blank if there is a major problem with the embroidery.
How do you figure what to charge on embroidery.
Hi Kayla!
Question… if I need my own logo embroidered… do I need it digitize it to embroider it??
I have a small machine on the way and I have a simple black & white logo but I don’t know how to get it to what I need to embroider..
Hi Caroline! Yes, you need to get it digitized. Your machine needs to be able to read the stitches and be a specific file format. For example, since I run Ricoma's, I need my files to be .DST. My Brother PE800 can only read .PES files. So make sure you get it digitized to the proper file your machine can read. For digitizing, I use www.dreamdigitizing.com for all my stuff. They're great and very rarely do I have to request an edit. I hope this helps!
i would limit the amount of wholesale customers. If you bank on the 75 percent of the time and they go out of business, you are out of business. I would keep that end at 10-15 percent, they fold, you won't feel it.
I think the sorority and fraternity stuff is trademarked. I’d be careful with that one. Also college school logos too. Thanks for the list!
I'm sure they are! If you have the money and resources you can become an approved vendor for those.
@@KaylaKrische yes, I’ve always been curious how much licensing agreements are for those!
@@Jeniveve Not a clue! Maybe I'll look into it and do a video on licensing requirements and such
@@KaylaKrische That would be awesome Kayla!!!
How did you afford all those multi needle machines? Did you get loans?
I financed through Ricoma. I'm able to afford my payments because of the embroidery work I put out and orders I get.
I need embroidry machin job
Towels are saturated also.
Very true!
When someone gives you their logo, do they give you a photo of it then you get it digitized? I'm new to embroidery.
I always ask for a transparent .png of their logo.
