This is something. First nomination for Team Maniax, and finally Ryota Kozuka is recognized (and other members from ATLUS SOUND TEAM like Kenichi Tsuchyia and Toshiki Konishi). Hidehito Aoki if would be alive, would be very proud of Kenichi Tsuchiya compositions.

They should release for example Team Maniax games in 2023, 2025, 2027, Persona games in 2924, 2026, 2028, but i think they doing that to reduce marketing costs. There would better chance SMT will get more recognition.

Shiva’s theme is honestly one of my faves, since it starts out calm and serene and slowly gets more intense over time, as if Shiva’s destruction of the world is growing nearer the longer you fight him. And with how difficult of a fight it is, I’m glad to have a banger track to accompany it lol
Battle for reclamation quickly became one of my favorite battle themes in all of megaten. The context of it and when it started playing made me so hyped and it's just stayed with me since.
Shout out to the Demi-Fiend fight utilizing a remix of the SMT3 Random Battle theme, since random battles in SMT3 can feel like boss fights 90% of the time
The Canon of creation ost feels more you have eternal adventures until you get the throne The Canon of vengeance feels more personal and more aggressive since is more about personal reasons than for everyone sake.

I love both Da'at versions, I actually didn't like that you get another song as the main battle theme for a portion of the game, lucky me that it's not for too long, and I think you still get the original Da'at song for some specific fights

The nature of it. Metaphor got nominated and I was personally disappointed with that soundtrack. The weakest Meguro work I've ever heard. Still good music but not great tbh (past the beginning the memorability is gone)

There is no way Metaphor have better soundtrack than SMT V Vengeance. Metaphor have only few bangers, rest is your typical generic fantasy music ala Fire Emblem. At leats music from SMT V Vengeance was nominated in Golden Joystick, while Metaphor & P3R not.

In comparison, Reload is a remake of an almost 20 year old game and Vengeance is a rerelease of a Switch exclusive. They wouldn't want to cannibalize the potential success of their new IP by having it share the spotlight with their already well established titles.

The redone tracks are just adjustments in game because the OG mixing was weird in some tracks, the vengeance tracks are all new, and the ones from the OG weren't changed

Half tracks are from base SMT V, and half tracks are from Vengeance. The only one redone music is Normal Battle Theme.
