I really wish for the other MegaTen series to be as popular as Persona one day. It's so infuriating most of these games aren't highly regarded, and some even sold pretty poorly throughout the world. Megami Tensei has been my favorite game franchise of all time since I got to know it back in 2010. And yeah, I also love Persona, but you know what I mean. It's also a shame the fandom for both MegaTen and Persona is so toxic, I can barely interact with most of those guys
I keep away from literally every fandom. The lack of respect for different opinions inside and towards other fandoms is always present. Ive yet to come across a fandom that is not toxic. I just enjoy games on my own, with mouth to mouth discussions and recommendations. So much better hahahaha
@@niponugga If you go to MetaCritic, you can see almost every SMT game (except Persona) has a mediocre or low user score. That happened in response to Atlus not porting Persona 5 to the Switch :P That's just an example of how divisive the fandom is... Also, most of the mainline fandom just keep spamming the same jokes that were funny 10 years ago, and the Persona fandom is just always arguing about who is best girl... A small part of the fandom I do enjoy are the guys that try to decipher all the core gameplay aspects (I can't understand the shit they write, but I respect them lol), and also the people that analyse the subtlety and the themes of each game and character, something MegaTen has a lot to offer ^_^
God damn, Nocturne's staff roll never stops hitting me in the gut all these years later. The amount of amazing music out of this series is so underappreciated.
Incredible playlist, perfect for just vibing in the evening. SMT (and Persona to an extent) games have such a specific atmosphere when it comes to calm tunes, this urban peace that I don't think any other series replicates. The only thing missing from this playlist is imo the Shibuya theme from Nocturne, I used to listen to it a lot when going back from work late at night.

The staff roll theme in smt nocturne is also playing as you hover over the game on ps5, so i just sit and relax a while before starting the game.
