The N/A V6 is so much more refined than the shabby four cylinder. This is the TX to get if you can afford it.

Is there a reason he keeps referencing the wagoneer?

Nice minivan replacement with PHEV powertrain & 3.5L V6. The Pacifica PHEV just got some competition. Just let Lexus build them for a year or so to work out the bugs and let the dealers get the "market adjustment" nonsense out of their system. Love the off road portion with trashcans awaiting pickup en route. 🤣 The only other plug in three row SUV is the Volvo xc90, iirc. To answer your question this is better.

Three-row plug-in hybrid SUV from Lexus/Toyota AND you were expecting excitement? (Pause.) Why!? Boring in an amazing way, imo. 400hp, awd, 33 mi electric range, real 28mpg, and fast enough.
If Lexus adds the glass panoramic roof, air suspension and rear wheel steering would that be "less boring". Because those are the "faults" for this 550h+ that seem to crop up in some reviews/comments. Oh, they want 8 passenger seating out there too.

@@cbotten106 yeah id agree as someone who was in the market for one but went with a grand highlander (due to 8 seats) I totally agree. If it got those features alongst with maybe also macadamia and palomino interior colors it would be a winner. A 350h standard hybrid option would be nice, since the f-sport powertrain is overpriced for what it offers and it doesn't get good mpg.
