    I found an artwork online that is a cover artwork for a mobile racing game that I found to be very beautiful. It is of the Vaporwave or synthwave inspired genre. An 80s retro future look. That inspired me to create this tutorial to breakdown and recreate that artwork but with a Tesla car.
    You can download the full version of this artwork complete with everything you see in my original artwork design here for a small fee to support me!

    been looking for a practical intermediate draw-along for AD for over two years! So many problems solved! Thank you!
    For some reason, of all design programs, AD is designed in a way that's just not accessible to my brain. This helped a lot.

    awesome. Vaporwave aesthetic was what drew me to graphic design in the first place.

    • @afzainizamzahari
      @afzainizamzahari  6 лет назад

      That is cool! I'm planning to create more vaporware art soon 😀 I'm really loving the aesthetics of this 'genre'

    • @mekkanix
      @mekkanix 6 лет назад

      I look forward to that! I believe that the vaporwave genre will evolve into other things, so I'm keeping that in mind with my art. If you haven't seen simpsonwave videos, you should check that out. Combining vaporwave/synthwave music with clips of cartoon characters showing various emotions and applying striking psychedelic and retro video effects is an amazing and inspiring combination. In order to avoid copyright issues and grow bigger, the genre needs people who can create original video and music content. Very challenging, but that is what I aspire to do. It will take me years, and already has, but I'll get there eventually.

    Am I the only one who stuck at 6.05 where my sun is under the sky and don't know how to bring the sun as seen in your video. I am a very beginner and almost all your moves are completely new to me. Great video to learn but I am stuck here. Already deleted the files more than 10 times :( Any thoughts? Thanks for the help.

    • @afzainizamzahari
      @afzainizamzahari  4 года назад +1

      I think you need to change the layer arrangement of your sun and the background. Open up the layers panel and check if the sun is above the sky layer. If it's not, tap and drag that sun layer above the sky layer.

    • @GiriKumar
      @GiriKumar 4 года назад

      Afzainizam Zahari, thank you very much for your quick reply. I figured that the issue was with the way the layers are arranged. Thanks brother. Great videos and truly learning a lot from them. Blessings

    I know this video was released a year ago, but when I search for Tesla inside Vectornator I don't see icons, I see a bunch of numbers in place of the icon preview. Doesn't matter what I search for it's the same. Anyone else experience this? Also, I couldn't find vectornator pro, instead the only that shows up in the app store is Vectornator X, I'm assuming that is the latest update?

    • @afzainizamzahari
      @afzainizamzahari  5 лет назад +1

      yes Vectornator X is the latest version now... they did away with the pro name. If you still can see the icons, do let the app developers know by sending them an email. They will rectify it very quickly.

    with the palm tree layer, how are you able to select multiple sections of the palm tree at once? you seem to do it automatically when you click them but it only allows me to select one at a time

    • @afzainizamzahari
      @afzainizamzahari  6 лет назад

      Make sure that all the pieces of the palm tree are within the main palm tree layer. In that way you can select all pieces at once. refer to this section of the video 12:34

      @@afzainizamzahari Right on.
      Here's the optimum workflow that I've found, and ADesigner can do the same things on the tablet.
      I make a layer, name it "line work". draw it out with raster fist, then ink it, with my brush's controller set to "pressure" and ink a bit, and adjust with the node tool or stroke thickness adjustment with the pressure graph.
      Then create a layer under the line work layer. Pull out the pen tool and create your flats. Keeping your strokes and fills separate seems important to me. If any of the coloring needs to adjusted, you're dealing with a few shapes operating as parenting shapes for something for shadows and highlights.
      It's cool stuff. I've been doing a bunch of work in affinity designer lately, especially with my youtube thumbnails. And they're looking NICE.
