- This is a project that I have been wanting to do for sometime now. Our poor lab has been having to ride in the backseat of our truck all cramped up. So I decided a platform was in order for her to comfortably be while riding in the truck. Thank you for checking out our video. Check out our blogs for other diy projects, tips and tricks.

Nice job on this. Your dog has to love this!
This is exactly what we need. We take the seats out and it’s so uneven and clearly uncomfortable
We need the same idea only just level the two floor sides to the middle hump on the floor, that way he can still jump in easier when he is older too. I LOVE what you did, it's just too high up for our situation.
I’m planning on removing the seat and then make a platform so it’s low enough for my lab to jump in and out. Of course I’d pick him up when he’s old.
I made one for my doge to but I made it the same height as the seat when it was down. It was nice for me so I could shoes and dog bowls and other things underneath.
LOL i just got the quad , wanted the back for my dog im doing the same thing now all we need is some pull out steps to help them with old age ✌✌
Great idea, great job! Awesome dog too. Always great to make our pups more comfortable. I'm going to make one for my new Silverado for sure.
Building one of these today - in my Dodge Challenger 😃
Cool project! Liked the idea, but I think I will make one to line up with with the middle of my backs seats, as my storage is only accessible by lifting seats up. Maybe cover it carpet to protect more stuff. Thanks for the ideas, and please....wear safety shoes next time! I was waiting for a toe to fall off there! LOL :-)
Thank you, btw I still have all my toes, lol....
Yours turned out nice 👍🏻
Thanks
We’ve got an Isuzu DMax and you’ve inspired me to do that now for my three pups 😊
Sweet girl
You should have put some foam padding before stapling the sheet. Dog will feel the hard plywood even with the dog bed.
I made one just like yours. My dog kept hugging towards the seat.
Awesome! I figure I’ll need to do something like this for my two dogs when I find the pickup I want…now I know how, Thank You 🤗
Oh and by the way Harley needs more cush in her bed for her little old bones😉. I pick up lounge chair cushions from my local St Vincent De Paul store cause I’m an Avid Reduce, Reuse and Recycle person😊. My Tessa Loves to “ lounge “ on her cushions 🤗 Oh…another thing…you need a couple sawhorses…it hurt my back and my knees just watching you …we’re not getting any younger ya know 😉
Thank you, traveling on the road full-time you have to downsize and saw horses had to go.
Where can i find those covers that you have for your under seat storage?
Dog Ramp next?
We layed her to rest in December, so no ramp.
@@DiyRVandHome You were a good Dad, I'm very sorry for your loss but very happy for the times you shared and the memories you made. She's running free and healthy in Heaven, you'll see her again.
Breathing really hard throughout the whole video?
Very sensitive mic, along with Missouri humidity eaquals heavy breathing. Lol
